Weeks months later I still had no items from my order and when my mother in law who went to meet up with her the first time at the farmers market to pick up my order after multiple frustrating messages, she flaked on her. Ultimately she dropped it off at my mother laws house near her bakery but it was a frustrating and disappointing ordeal. The scones were so tiny they looked like cookies and the wontons were so doughy and spicy I couldn't eat them. I would not recommend the value for the price and dealing with the owner. I'm sure buying from her directly might be a different experience but sadly she has the worst customer service so I never ventured here. I'm no the first to complain about this business either so it seems to be a pattern. But I hope after 2 years she's changed her approach.

I imagine that if you are browsing by this donut shop you are attracted by the colorful mochi donuts, but let me give you some perspective on the business. My father and mother are the owner of Liz Nail. It's a nail salon that has been in the Park Ridge community for well over a decade, and even longer if you count the previous location in Montvale. My mom runs the business operations, while my father does the back office work. They are a wonderful duo who love the town and their amazing customers. However, on the evening of April 14th, 2022, my father was physically assaulted by the manager of the store, Mr. Young Ban. My father was intervening in a one-sided argument that erupted when an employee of Liz Nail (Rosa) asked Mr. Ban to move his car as it was blocking hers from getting out. Long story short, the argument resulted to Mr. Ban throwing my father to ground and pinning him with a chokehold. Yes, there have been issues with how to evenly distribute the limited parking space. Yes, things could have been handled differently (probably in a more civilized manner!) Yes, my father is doing better, but regretful that this took place. However, the fact of the matter is that Mr. Ban committed to physical violence. This not the kind of behavior that the Park Ridge community promotes nor displays. Sure, Mochimoly produces a unique donut, but I can't fathom how a business can operate in such an abhorrent manner to other fellow business owners. read more
