This used.to be a great place for a breakfast sandwich and coffee. Just had the southwestern chicken panini and there was one small slice of chicken with some cheese. It was flattened and small. For the cost of the sandwich, you don't get much. It seems we are paying more for.less everywhere. read more

This place has been a local favorite of mine since I was in high school. My go-to drink over the years has been the Rhesus Monkey Mocha, and it's good both hot and iced! Service is always friendly and efficient. I love the small town feel of that they execute through their decor and lighting as well. We have only ever gone through the Drive-thru so unfortunately can't say too much about the shop interior or vibes but we've been twice now. Everyone is always super sweet and kind! I've ordered a smoothie, chai, my husbands gotten lattes both times, and my father in law ordered a blended drink. Our drinks tend to be fairly lackluster and straight forward but always tends to take forever to get. The last time we went though, FIL got the Jungle Mocha blended with whip and it was super tasty!! We will definitely have to try that next time, my recommendation though is if you like coffee coffee, probably not your place but if you like a little bit of coffee with your milk & sugar? Nice small town coffee shop with above average coffee, decent food, and a great music list Convenient to get to in St. Boni, with plenty of parking and good wifi It is in a modern building but the inside is very eclectic Coffee is above average and they will make it as crazy as you want it, or just straightforward like an Americano (the way all coffee should be drunk, imho) Food is a little strange - premade sandwiches that they will through on the press to heat up, as well as Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches like you get in the gas station store. They also have stuffed pretzels. I had the spinach and feta, which was amazingly good. Not sure if they make them or if they come off the truck, but warmed up, they are good. Music was fun for the old guy in me - Jefferson Airplane was a great band. If I am back in the area, I will definitely return. read more

I've been going the St Boni Mocha Monkey for years in the AM to enjoy their coffee with friends, however since the arrival of the new coffee grinder it's very difficult to have any type of conversation when the machine is operating. Perhaps finding a better time to grind coffee rather than first thing in the morning when people are there to avoid a headache, not get one. The people and coffee wonderful, the coffee grinder... not so much. read more

Everyone has their "go to" place to wet their whistle with a hot or cold coffee. In the rural areas your options can be quite limited. Especially when your competition is Kwik trip and the local church. Yeah, I'll stick to the local coffee house. It's a really nice place to hang out with your friends with a nice beverage. Did I mention they have food? An all around wonderful place to be with the local people you might see every day. The ladies behind the counter know what they're doing, and they do not disappoint. Friendly service and great coffee options. The consistency at this location isn't as good as the location in Waconia, but St. Boni is closer to our house so we go here often when we just need a quick coffee. If I have time I prefer the Waconia location just because I know my Reeses Mocha will have the toppings and the environment there is very relaxing and unique. Overall I'm happy we have an option in St. Boni because Mocha Monkey is my weakness!! :) read more

Absolutely my new favorite coffee place! I'm back here visiting from out of state, and this is my absolute favorite place, their specialty coffees are fantastic! Baked goods, sandwiches, soups options, and my favorite blend I keep coming back for while I'm in town is the blended Jungle Mocha! We love it! Both locations rock! We stopped in to Mocha Monkey to get some caffeine in our system before driving across the state in the dark. Just off Highway 7, they've got a very convenient location, making it a good stop for travelers like us. Their store is very nicely decorated. We thought the use of antique windows was really groovy, and liked the monkeys. We stopped in just before close, which I usually feel terrible about doing. Apple doesn't have their hours listed in Maps at all, but they close at 6 as per their new winter hours. They were still hopping, especially in their drive through, so it was a few minutes before the lovely barista could get to us. We got a couple of their special January coffees and a hot cider. The flavored lattes were flavorful without being too sweet, complementing the coffee without overpowering it. Very good. They've got a beautiful looking bakery section, we'll have to stop in again so I can try their spinach feta pretzel. Overall, a fantastic little coffee shop. read more

Why hasn't this place gotten more review love?! I was hesitant to stop in as there was only 3 reviews on yelp and I usually like a well-yelped spot. I decided to give it a chance anyway, and I was blown away! First off cute little place on the inside, the baristas were super friendly and most importantly the food and coffee were both great! I got an iced almond milk latte-perfect for summer without being too sweet but the milk was still creamy and sweet, and a pretzel stuffed with cheese. I thought they were gonna give me the pretzel just wrapped up until they heated it up and it was INSANELY GOOD. Coffee was great but I would go back again just for that pretzel. This coffee place is my favorite! The coffee is such a different, fresh, and delicious taste. I always get an iced almond milk latte with vanilla and I drink it in less than 5 minutes. The smoothies are amazing and have such a fruity, creamy flavor that are the best in summer. You can get any tea, smoothie, or coffee with any flavor! My favorite coffee shop, for sure. It's on my way to work, so I stop in pretty frequently. The baristas are always very friendly and learned my favorite drink quickly. They have drink specials every month along side their massive list of specialty mochas. They also have a wide selection of syrup flavors, from the tried and true to some more unique flavors like my favorite lavender.
