They were super helpful and helped me get an outlet for my new induction range stove! They had to run it under the house they did really clean work and as a bonus since I shocked myself I had them swap ceiling fans and learned how to do it after watching him do it top notch I recommend them! They did a great job and were cost effective. They fixed/replaced two outlets that were broken and came the same day

Excellent communication and the price quoted was fair and they were on time and friendly and competent. They took care of what they needed to do quickly and efficiently and they were gone. The next time we need an electrician I will certainly consider them. read more

Carlos and Gustavo were fantastic to work with. Installed an outlet in a difficult area and agreed to do so by accessing the garage below to avoid cutting holes throughout kitchen walls. Knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient. I would highly recommend Moca Electric. read more

I've hired Carlos a couple of times and he's an electrician you can count on. The first job we had Carlos fix our hallway lights that stopped working all of a sudden and our outdoor outlet. We loved his work so much that we hired him again to install 4 recessed lights with dimmer, two patio lights, and install a new outlet. He even was able to go back and fix an issue from the first job with our outdoor outlet because the electrical box was broken and was able to install the replacement outlet box. Carlos is reliable and I would recommend him to anyone. read more

Hello my Yelpies, After using the 14-50 outlet for two months, I am writing a review. I recently had the pleasure of working with Carlos and his team on the installation of a 14-50 plug at my home. From the first meeting, Carlos was professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. He clearly explained the process and provided a fair estimate. On the day of the installation, Carlos and his associate arrived on time and worked efficiently, completing the job in just 5-6 hours. FYI, the job is not a small job, he will have to break the concrete to wire it into my garage. The work was done to the highest standard and my charging station has been working perfectly for the past 2 months. I was also impressed with the attention to detail and the clean-up after the job was completed. I would highly recommend Carlos for any electrical needs, and his reasonable pricing is a bonus. Thank you, Carlos, for a fantastic experience! read more

Great quality of service and great value. Really nice and efficient. I appreciate the timeliness.

Lowest quote from all companies that responded to my project! Posted my project on a Friday, they were here on Monday for the repair. I think any electrical work is always going to be expensive, but it was a necessary repair to get my sprinklers working. Would recommend! read more

Carlos was referred to me by my brother, and he did an outstanding job installing my 250 NEMA outlet to charge my Tesla. Reasonable price, free estimate, great communication, and on-time for our appointment. He also changed out some of my fuse switches to make room for my Tesla fuse switch. Can't say enought good things about Moca Electric. Carlos and his men were professional, responsive, and timely. This was the installation of underground conduit for a patio, and included an outdoor fan and heater install. The price was on point, the results exceeded my expectations -- and they left the yard cleaner than they found it. Highly recommend. read more

I sent out inquiry about 240V outlet for EV charger installation through Yelp on Monday morning. Carlos reached out to me immediately but I was a bit busy, so I called him later in the afternoon. I got next day appointment at 8.30 am. By Monday evening, I realized I made a mistake on the type of plug I wanted install, so I texted Carlos at roughly 9.30 pm. Carlos replied immediately. This morning, Carlos came on time with the correct type of outlet I needed. I don't work on electrical stuffs myself, but I like learning about it so I was there looking over his shoulder during the installation. My main electrical panel is a bit tricky to work with because 80% of the box sunk inside the wall. Carlos had to drill the side panel, cut a box inside the wall to install the outlet, run metal conduit for the wiring from panel to the new outlet. Everything was done professionally and no shortcuts were taken. After the installation was done, the new circuit was fully tested, and everything was cleaned and vacuumed. I asked a lot of questions during the installation and Carlos was happy to explain. It is a good experience knowing that everything was done right with high quality. Carlos was responsive, punctual, straight forward, and offer high quality work. I highly recommend Moca Electric for any electrical work, and I will reach out to Carlos again for my next electrical related project. read more

Such an easy experience! They got back to me with a great quote after sending pictures of my panel within 12 hours. Set the appointment up at 1-3 on a Wednesday. They showed up at 1:15 and were done in 2 hours. Did exactly what we discussed on the phone and gone. Cisco and Gustavo were 2 personable and courteous guys. They confirmed what I wanted, went to work and got it done. I will absolutely be calling Moca Electric again if needed. Thanks guys!! read more

Needed a 240v outlet installed for my EV and Moca came through with a great quote through yelp projects . Very quick response and good communication throughout. Carlos texted before he arrived at our appointment time and he was in and out with the outlet installed in a little over 2 hours, no fuss. Cleaned up after himself and plugged in my charger and tested it before he left. Paid him the agreed upon amount, no upcharges, or hidden fees or up selling - no worries, and now I'm charging at a much faster rate than before. This one is going in the rolodex for sure! read more

Thank you for your fast, quality service! Moca Electric performed upgrades to two electric meters. Very satisfied.

We are extremely pleased with the work Carlos did. Not only he gave us free estimation and quote but also explained everything in details and helped us understand what is needed for our project. So the thing that I really didn't want to happen, happened... my electrical panel fried - literally! I had smoke and sparks coming from the breakers and part of the panel had actually melted. So I got quotes and calls from several electricians. It ran the gamut - no response from some, some didn't want to entertain questions unless I committed to hiring them and then I spoke with Carlos at Moca. He came over the same day when I described what was happening and we planned the work to take place two weeks later. This was a big job - panel replacement and upgrade from 100 to 200 amp service, addition of a new circuit, some rewiring and a thorough inspection. He even helped me understand exactly how all the circuits run in this older house - due to so many different rewirings and additions over the years. Moca did an outstanding job. They showed up on time on a Saturday morning around 8 am. They completed the job before the sun went down, around 6:30 pm. I had no unnecessary disruptions, the work is clean and professional, my house is safe all the dimming lights and tripped breaker issues I was having are eliminated and we are all happy! The pricing is fair - the quality of their work deserves fair compensation. I highly recommend these guys! read more

Carlos was responsive and was able to provide me an initial quote based on the info I gave him, which was to install a 240v line for a new electric water heater, for a 20ft run from the panel. He was able to squeeze me in on a couple days notice, and to top it off he had the best value out of the 5 quotes I received. Carlos arrived on time, took the time to listen to what I wanted, remembered the job details from our prior communications, and took the time to answer all the questions I had during the install and taught me a few things. They reviewed their work with me at the end and swept up all the dust before leaving. read more

Out of six that replied to my requests for quotes, MOCA was the MOST honest! I've dealt with many contractors, you can pretty much tell them apart from initial communications if you can trust them. Even with all the correct information, they will not give you a estimate unless you set up appointment in person with them and some gives you outrageous laughable estimates, well...I never respond to those companies. Carlos gave me quotes which I believe its very fair, no surprises, nothing shocking like some other quotes, no upsells, no scare tactics. Set up appointment, Carlos and partner showed up as scheduled, diagnosis problems and did repairs along with additional work I requested. Everything done perfectly and cleaned up afterwards. Thank you, Carlos! read more
