highly recommend! great service, very relaxing. The Escape VIP is an excellent idea for a couple.

I was so looking forward to my experience at Moc after seeing loads of headspa related videos online, but unfortunately the service left much to be desired. I arrived to my appt 20+ minutes early to get the lay of the land and be prepared for the experience, and somehow my appt was delayed by nearly 10 minutes, though my technician keep coming in and out the doors to the lobby walking right by me several times. They also called me by the wrong name? I also requested to go to the bathroom once I arrived in the lobby to not hold up the experience, but the front desk attendant responded to my request with "do you need to go now or can you wait till your appt?" With my appt being delayed by 10 minutes, I really needed to go! Once my service began, they start by looking at your scalp with a camera, and though I had washed my hair literally three hours before (hair still damp as it was in a clip) my hair was "clogged and dirty". I could literally see on the screen very minor build up, but it seemed to be a bit dramatized for effect. The rate and pace of my service was fast and faster. As this is meant to be a relaxing treatment, I expected things to progress at a moderate pace, but due to the lateness of my start, perhaps they were looking to speed up service? The scrubbing felt quick, a bit harsh and not at all relaxing. Plus the facial portion ended up with products in and around my eyelids. It began to burn, but thankfully we were near the end so I just suffered through. Once the service was completed, they quarter blow dry your hair and keep encouraging you to "touch it! Isn't it so soft". No, it literally feels like dried noodles and completely stripped of oils. My hair turned out limp and lifeless. The total cost for a supposed 75 minute service (which it wasn't due to the timing issues outlined) was nearly $160 after a modest tip. I won't be back. read more

Bad customer service but had a great service with Bella! But they changed my appointment without notifying me. I had an appointment booked for an hour later. They tried calling but the number was wrong. They offered a shorter service, which was fine. But I would've loved to have the appointment that was actually booked at the time that I booked it for...Great experience with the actual treatment! Less than ideal scheduling and customer service. Pretty disappointed by how things were handled. read more

I have had facial services several places around New Mexico but this was by far my favorite! I had the Moc package which I received as a birthday present from my husband. I was instantly was in a mood due to the Juice bar next door having a rave at 11am (it was a grand opening and not a normal occurrence). The staff did everything they could to make it right from offering ear plugs and making it right at the end of the service even though it wasn't their fault, they hadn't even been notified of the event! However once inside it was clean, beautiful and peaceful. You're given a wrap, rope and spa shoes. They have secure lockers for your belongings. Ashtynn did my service and she did AMAZING! So sweet. I was so relaxed and felt so pampered! I will be back and recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing treatment! read more

Moc Head Spa - Lobby - Beauty & Spas Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Beautiful space with a great ambiance and very friendly staff. I have severe eczema and usually react after dyeing my hair, so I was nervous and a little embarrassed about my scalp condition. My technician was incredibly kind, understanding, and mindful of my comfort throughout the treatment. She explained the inflammation she saw and reassured me the treatment would help. The experience itself was so relaxing and the robe, comfortable table, and steam treatment at the bowl felt amazing, especially on my swollen lymph nodes. Afterward, my scalp was noticeably less red, and my technician explained what to expect over the next day or so. Overall, such a great experience and I would definitely recommend. As a bonus, my lymph node swelling even went down afterward! This may be my go to treatment after getting my hair done. read more

I came into MOC Head Spa while they were training their staff, and it was a beautiful space. It is owned by the same people operating the Gold Dust Nail Lounge a few doors down, so I knew the decor, vibes, and attention to detail would be immaculate. I was not disappointed. Since it was training, there were many questions, making sure steps were done right, or finding out that certain outlets weren't working for blowdrying. All of this was expected, and I had the most relaxing experience. I can't wait to come back. I enjoyed each step of the scalp care and plan to attend the grand opening event. read more

Great services! Very relaxing! Consists of a double shampoo a head massage, and a halo water massage.

Planned a spa day for my mom and boy did we enjoy ourselves. We treated ourselves to a serenity VIP service and loved every minute. My hair has never felt better and we were so relaxed and treated like queens. Highly recommend booking yourself a spa day here!! read more

Booked the Signature service with a new provider who was training. I had previously purchased gift cards as gifts but had not yet received any services myself. The reception staff was very pleasant and welcoming. The treatment room is a little tight and you have to walk through the treatment room to get back to the restroom, lockers and back area where they look at your scalp. My treatment felt amazing and Andrea was very nice. My only "complaint" was that the service was supposed to be 120 minutes but my total time there from arrival 10 mins or so before my appointment, changing, scalp evaluation, treatment, drying time and changing to getting back into my car was not even 120 minutes total. I am looking forward to returning for another treatment. Thank you Andrea. read more

My wife and I went on Valentine's Day and had the Mộc Signature treatment. We were not disappointed. This is their Cadillac product and worth every dime. One hundred twenty minutes of: rejuvenating scalp exfoliation, double shampoo, herbal water circulation cleanse and nourishment; facial acupressure and a Collagen face mask; hot towels; hands and feet herbal massage; and warm stones on the extremities. To finish off a shoulder massage to relieve tension and a biscuit with hot tea or water. Owner Tracy is delightful, and she has hired a great staff. The interior is calming and wonderfully decorated. We will be back - highly recommended. read more

Apparently, business opened before they were ready. Launched a website that was not up to par with their available employees. The owner reached out to apologize and re-book my treatment for the following day. Next day, I arrive on time and wait 20 minutes only to have the owner come out and ask me to "run a few errands" while the employee drives to work. WTH? I came back from said "errands" only to get a treatment from a different person than the owner named. Rude front person running the desk who just points to the kiosk to check in, lacking in customer service skills. Apparently you are supposed to "pick" out your essential oil before hand with help from front lady. She just sat on her duff behind the desk clicking her keyboard! This is not a spa, it's a salon where they wash your hair. Not worth the $$ in my opinion. Business needs to get their sh*t together before they launch a website. Don't blame the people who launched the site, take some accountability and offer compensation if you are not prepared. Would not recommend this business and will not return. I use better hair products in my home and the essential oils they use smell rancid. read more
