We bought a recliner and it was great for awhile then it started acting up. It took forever to get someone out here to fix it. Then they had to take it in and fix it. That was forever. Now it's still not working right. We called and they send a repair man out and he couldn't fix it. They said they would get back to us and they NEVER did. We called many times and still nothing is happening. We may have to go to Court. read more

The techs and office staff are amazing. My power wheelchair lost power at in opportune times, while functioning normally most of the time. I called Mobility on 6-21-21 about my bed not reclining anymore. The hydraulic manifold broke off the frame, the technician that came said my bed frame was warped which is why the whole unit broke twice now. On July 21st I find out they still hadn't contacted my doctor to write prescription for my bed along the medical guidelines. Till this day I'm flat on my back. Propped up when eating or drinking water, struggling with the idea they have people that don't communicate. They work from home, which in some cases a bad idea. Because my bed still hasn't been ordered, resulting to getting another supplier. read more

I had to call mobility Plus of California, Lydia, the manager got the phone well worst mistake ever, first of all, we tried to tell her what was wrong with the wheelchair again it's like she don't want to hear it. She come up with a bunch of excuses. She tried to say that the rap my owner made is the reason why the wheelchair is lifting up no it's not the reason why my other wheelchair I had. Gave me no problems. It didn't lift up. It ran perfectly The only repair it needed was the tire because it was old and Mobility Plus refused to fix it and Lydia the manager of Mobility Plus, kept saying that the ramp owner made me is, but lifting this wheelchair up now how is the ramp lifting the wheelchair if I'm at Walmart did I physically take the wooden ramp with me know how is the ramp lifting me if I'm inside the house and the wheelchair is picking up from the back and the front if the ramp is outside the unit nailed down to the unit and I'm inside with the wheelchair and it's picking up. How is this wheelchair picking up if I'm in a public transportation bus did I take the ramp with me Mobility Plus explain that one too since you were calling me a liar which the manager did call me a liar, me and my spouse on the phone today June 29, 2023. I want to make this clear Mobility Plus the manager Lydia straight out said that my wheelchair does not lift up as you can see to the pictures that I have posted. I do not like to be called a liar, I had to have a stranger. and my spouse at vintage fair mall last week, pick my chair up at food court parking lot and put it on the sidewalk because the bus block the entrance where a wheelchair can get on because it was getting ready to leave now we don't know the buses have cameras and they record everything outside and inside now Lydia, the manager calls us a liar. We all know people record things with their phone publicly I want to thank the person that helped us pick up the wheelchair and put it on the sidewalk, for I can get the bus that day. What I'm upset about right now is when I called Mobility Plus and complain about my wheelchair Lydia the a manager honestly didn't want to help me with anything she really didn't want to hear anything from me or my spouse about my wheelchair. We try to tell her how it lifts up from the front and back. We try to tell her how the left arm comes right out of the socket. It's not screwed in. She doesn't want to know how the right arm control panel is loose, she doesn't want to know where you put your foot store is crooked from scraping and hitting from cross in the streets. The only thing she said was "well, we can go pick up the wheelchair but we're not giving you another one" and we told her well. She needs to have a wheelchair to get around. We don't have another water to give her right now. We don't have any extra wheelchairs at all, we told her well she needs to go and be able to go to doctors appointments. Well there's nothing we can do about that only thing we could do is what Lydia said "we can go pick up the wheelchair and that would leave her without a wheelchair" Mobility Plus wants to pick up my wheelchair even though my insurance has already paid for it. Mobility Plus wants to leave me without a wheelchair without a way for me to get around how nice of Mobility Plus they want to come and pick up my wheelchair that my insurance paid for and keep my wheelchair.. and another thing do not trust their tech that they sent out to do repairs Alex cause he'll tell you one thing when he's at your house or place and when he's at the office he'll say another thing just to protect his bottom... this tech when he came out, did not have any tools to do repairs on my wheelchair he use some Skippy tool to adjust the springs and messed it up. read more

I am in gratitude for having found Mobility Plus of CA. When my family had an urgent need, Mobility Plus of CA  was the only one who came up with a great solution in a timely fashion. They took the time to inquire details of my needs to understand how to best serve me and then gave me options with pros and cons. I would like to thank the person answering the phone at this location. I was looking for mobility scooter diagnosis and repair. When I explained what I needed the first (and second) thing they asked was if I had bought the scooter at their store. When I said no (I didn't live in Modesto when I bought the scooter, though that was none of their biz), I was told there was a 2 to 3 week waiting list... no, not really a waiting list... but the person that repaired the scooters was very busy, and the diagnosis fee was $80. I could drop my scooter at their store and they would call me when they could get to it. That inspired me to watch YouTube tutorials showing how to test the battery, brakes, throttle and the fuses with a $10 Harbor Freight multi-meter. The tool to test the controller was too expensive but with everything else good, YouTube showed me how to access the controller since that had to be the problem. The scooter manufacturer website linked their recommended parts dealer (MonsterScooterParts.com) who used my scooter's serial number to send me the correct part which took about 1/2 hour to replace in a very simple procedure. The scooter works like new!!! So without that person's inspiration I would have likely spent many hundreds of dollars at this store and never had the joy of learning all I need to know to maintain my own scooter for life! read more

The WORST!!! Needed a wheelchair ramp urgently for my Brother and his Wife. Called Mobility Plus months ago, gave them the address to measure and no response. Called them again yesterday because Brother is having another back surgery and will be confined to a wheel chair for the rest of his life. Gave Robert my brothers address and phone number and nothing. Called this morning and now he tells me they aren't doing wheelchair ramps anymore. What a crock! Stay away from this place! read more

EXCELLENT Service! I drove up from Stockton to have my mobility scooter looked at as it had stopped working after having work done on my Vehicle by Stockton Toyota Towne Techs. GM was great and made sure Techs would be there as I had to burn vacation time to get there in time. ROBBIE fixed the issue on site and the other Tech greased the lift where I missed and identified that my ignition switch would need to be replaced. Only $49. I went in and rented a Hospital bed for my wife upcoming surgery(same as I had done last year). They require 2 months pre-payment which I made and scheduled delivery. Their contract has lots of "non-refundable" talk which would normally not be a problem. Then came "CORONAVIRUS". I called Lidia and explained the cancelation of all elective surgeries, her response "NO PROBLEM" she immediately refunded my payment - no further questions asked. The surgery will move forward later in the year and I'll definitely be back. I feel more like I have a partnership relationship as opposed to a customer relationship. My mom recently suffered an accident and a TI that has left her with very limited mobility and were advised by her doctor to check into some walking aids or possibly a power wheelchair. I was doing my research and calling around to get estimates when I came across this place. The gal that answered the phone was so helpful and kind! They sent a courier with a couple of pieces of equipment for my dad to take a look at who is in an assisted living facility. They said they would send me an invoice via email for the equipment and I was going to purchase it for delivery. I never got an email. I made phone calls, I left messages, and they don't answer their phone and they were of no help whatsoever. It's too bad there are so few equipment vendors in town. I guess poor customer service is just fine if you're the only game in town. I wouldn't use these guys if I were you. read more

This store has the best customer service I've ever experienced. Today was The second time I had to visit them since I obtained a chair for my mother and they made my visit exceptional! We showed up with an extremely old chair and found out that the main board went out. Sadly the manufacturer doesn't even make parts for it any longer. I have to say it caused me a bit of a fret. I thought, how will I take mom to places that will require a lot of walking now??? We worked with Steve and Heather who had a solution that made me so happy! Horrible ! It took them one + months to get one single form signed from your doctor's office and will tell you it takes up to 6 months to get a power chair through Medicare. If you can wait that long, go to them. Once you give your case to them, it is very hard to get the line though. Try yourself. read more

I have been waiting to have my mobility chair replaced as this second one I received from mobility plus lasted 10 yrs. I have been waiting over 6 months now in hopes I can get up and move around in my new chair. I call and always am told some papers have to be worked on. In the mean time I struggle as bearing weight with a spine injury is very painful. Please pray that this chair will come soon as the quality of life for me is running out. Yes I have Medicaid and Medicare both cover it. Maybe they will read this and understand the struggle it is not being able to walk. read more

Needed a mounting bolt and collar for a Bruno lift and they had the part and would have installed it for us, however we arrived at their lunch time and I just took the part to install it myself. I did a lot of research online before deciding what brand and type of mobility scooter I wanted. Mobility Plus didn't carry the exact model I wanted, but are Pride dealers. They were kind to let me try out the scooters they had in stock, and when I asked questions they couldn't answer, they called Pride and got the answers for me. I decided to purchase my scooter through them, because they do the authorized service repair in my area. I could have paid less online, but supporting local businesses appeals to me, and they are a live source I can always turn to for questions or repairs. read more

Just want to say how amazingly awesome the people at Mobility Plus are! I purchased a walker for my father from them a few years ago and was already impressed. Recently I was given a Pride Scooter that was not running so I took it to them to diagnose it. They knew I was trying to fix it for a friend of mine that has bone cancer and they were so sweet and helpful! Heather worked hard to try and help keep the cost down for me and when Steve diagnosed it, they found that the only issues were bad batteries and a bad battery charger. They didn't charge me a penny for their work in diagnosing it! Steve even cleaned it up for me. I can't tell you how much it meant to me that they actually cared about me as a customer and my friend dealing with cancer. Thank you SO MUCH you guys! read more
