I needed to pee really bad and I was holding my phone in one hand while I had my bag and books in the other. I was rushing to get to the front door of my boyfriend's condo, and in the midst of my antics, I dropped my phone! The day before I was set to leave for vacation out of state! I hit up Josh and told him what happened with a devastated emoji. I was willing to go to him after my vacation, even though as I was swiping through my phone, the broken glass gave me mini cuts on my finger. I wasn't going to be back in his area until 11pm that night, but he was still willing to help fix my phone! Thank you so much Josh! I was able to take plenty of pics with my phone while I was on vacation without cutting my finger or having to make out the image between cracked glass! read more

I had to get the screen on my iPhone 6+ replaced and I was recommended to check out MobileiPhoneGuy from a colleague. Let's start off by mentioning that I needed it fixed in a hurry and he had no availabilities. Fortunately, MIG was able to free up a 30 minute block for me and had me come by his office. His office is located in a very accessible area and had plenty of street parking. When I got to his office, he stopped doing what he was doing and gave me his full attention, which led to me being able to arrive and depart within 30 minutes, parking time included. I highly recommend MIG to anyone that required any maintenance on their iDevices. His prices are affordable and if you do not think they are, then maybe you should manage your hardware better or get a knockoff screen for replacement. read more

After making the mistake of going to an amateur repair spot in Westwood once for a lock button mishap, I learned my lesson and called Josh aka mobileiPhoneguy (after practicing some patience). This time around, I was experiencing battery issues with my iPhone 5 where it wouldn't charge. I had to kill my battery completely to even get it to charge and once it finally died, it took overnight for it to charge 50%! Ridiculous. I hit up Josh on his website and waited patiently. He's pretty much a one man shop based in Los Angeles so I was considerate of his time and waited for him to respond while I used a Samsung (I am definitely a loyal iPhone user). To my surprise, he contacted via text within a day or so and we made arrangements to meet in Westwood on a Tuesday afternoon. He was accommodating with availability and better yet, he's quick and knows exactly what he's doing/looking for. He only asked what the issue was, what kind of iPhone and when and where would be best to meet. Simple & to the point! We met as planned- he was even early. I was probably with Josh less than 20 minutes at the Coffee Bean where he replaced my busted/blown battery within minutes and problem was solved! He reassured me everything should be fine and told me to hit him up if anything went wrong again. Side note: when I got my lock button fixed at an anonymous spot in Westwood, they delayed fixing my phone and kept it overnight aka the guy had no clue what he was doing. Josh is definitely the other side of that and knows exactly what he's doing. I have an issue with my sound not working when I record videos and he generously informed me that it could be due to a certain defect it what that Westwood spot replaced for my lock button. In conclusion, Josh is knowledgeable, quick and definitely reasonable in price! I'll definitely be coming back to get that fixed and possibly a new face lift. Do yourself a favor and ONLY come to Josh for your iPhone needs. I don't bluff and brag often, but when I do, it's because I know it's quality work that can back it up. read more

MobileiPhoneGuy does all repairs in front of you. That would be my main point when it comes to finding someone to repair your iPhone. It also helped that Josh was professional and efficient! I was in Vegas when I cracked my phone at first. Went to a shop out there that repaired my phone for 3 hrs... I know-_- Got back to LA and by the 3rd day the screen started slipping out of the upper left corner. At the same time the screen started peeling internally and I could legit see the parts inside the phone through the screen. Eventually all the loose moving parts led me to drop my phone again leading to another cracked screen. Called MobileiPhoneGuy and he was able to meet. Let me just say first off other than the comfort of seeing him repair my phone right in front of me. His set up is so clean. The quality of his parts and screen is Grade A. From the look and feel of the screen everything was high quality. I compared it to the screen that the Vegas shop gave me and I was for sure blind in Vegas lol I don't know how I didn't notice how bad their repair was. But especially when I compared it to MobileiPhoneGuys quality I noticed how much better Josh's screen is. It also didn't take him 3hrs but maybe 15 minutes. I added the MobileiPhoneGuy tempered glass protector to my phone and it's been a month and so far so perfect! Highly recommend MobileiPhoneGuys personable and professional service! read more

This guy can fix anything! If your iPhone battery burns out, he will fix it for a lot cheaper than a new phone through insurance. Mobile iPhone guy is literally better than the Apple store! They wouldn't do anything and this guy figured out the problem in a few hours read more

My girl had an unresponsive screen (iPhone X) for no apparent reason. The phone was pretty much brand new no scratches, never been dropped etc. and for some reason the screen didn't work. Couldn't do anything. I called my guy Josh and explained to him what happened. And he told me that to reset it which it should've fixed the problem but it didn't. Than he sent me couple links about the iPhone X screen not being responsive and it might be a default. She went to apple the next day explained what happened and mentioned the default on the iPhone X and she got it fixed for free. I highly recommend mobileiphoneguy aka Josh for all your iPhone needs. Thanks again Josh !!! read more

Always there to help fix my broken stuff in a pinch. Thanks so much Mobile iphone Guy. My iPad is as good as new

I've used MiG's services on 2 occasions: My mom spilled makeup remover on her phone, making the screen look like there were ink splatters underneath it. I sent Josh a picture and he said it was fixable so he came to me and fixed it. Moms was super happy. I shattered my screen prior to meeting Josh and had it fixed somewhere around my house. Since then, every time I was on the phone, my ear would mute the call and I would be talking to myself for like 3 minutes. I told Josh about this and he told me that the person who did my phone didn't place the sensors on correctly so he fixed that for me. He's extremely knowledgeable about iPhones/Apple products and always follows up to make sure everything is working properly. I love the mobile option. Yes, it costs more but it saves me so much time. I don't have to drive there and wait around. read more

Came to the rescue same day I shattered my screen! Service was phenomenal and my phone is now good as new! Thanks so much!

Josh was recommended to me by a great friend I trust. He came by fixed my cracked screen and added a screen protector without needing to be asked - AMAZING! I called him the next day to fix speaker on phone, he gave me a time that he was available to meet me, then offered earlier time if I wanted to swing by his brick & mortar shop on Beverly. I came by,, he clearly was busy working on many phones, but gave me a twenty minute time frame. I figured go have lunch at Erewhon, 30 minutes later I return and my phone is like NEW! What the hell, this guy rocks and great customer service, as well as cost efficient. I haven't written a Yelp review since 2012, but had to give this brilliant technician props. Took a bunch of cards and will be handing out to everybody I know. Your phone is jacked? GO SEE HIM NOW!!! read more

Seriously the best service ever, quick, professional, efficient and always looking out for the customer. Thanks Josh for the best repair!!

CROOK. Completely unprofessional and not understanding what's so ever. If I could leave no stars I would. Originally, things were ok. He swapped my phone and it looked great! But because of the home button he replaced, it caused my phone to malfunction. So I asked for it to be switched back so I could take it to apple and ask them to fix it. Which he did no problem. After getting my phone to reboot, I was thrilled. So I contacted him to ask him to switch it back into the casing I already paid for! After weeks! And I mean weeks(about 3). Of being ignored after countless calls and text asking for him to switch it back, he continued to ignore me. Basically getting away with my $275! I was irritated and annoyed! So I contacted him asking for a refund! Telling him I would let him keep $50 for the time he had spent previously on my phone. Just trying to be generous! He refused to give me a refund. And then had the nerve to ask for more money!!!! To switch my phone out! ABSOLUTELY OBSERD! I would have no problem paying a little extra had he refixed my phone in a timely manner! Essentially, I paid $275 to have my phone crash, and have the phone I already have. He basically robbed me. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND BRINGING YOUR BUSINESS TO THIS COMPANY. read more

I can't believe I haven't written a review on this guy, and he's fixed my phone 5-6 times ready (twice in a month). He is awesome!!! My most recent was literally on my birthday. I was using my flashlight on my phone and dropped it.... He came to my work to fix it for me. And it was good as new! Everything works perfectly! And I didn't have to cut up my fingers anymore. He was fast and efficient. He even gave me a new protector for my bday. I would not trust anyone other than josh!!! read more

Seriously the best phone repair experience I've had. I've had millions on iPhone problems in the past and always seem to get ripped off or the run around that my phone is past its warranty. I had two iPhones 6's that both shut down and weren't able to turn on. Neither had water damage or been dropped. Came across Josh and let him know my situation, brought him both phones and within a couple of hours he had BOTH of them working just fine!! So impressed with how quick and helpful he was. Would recommend his service to anyone with any phone problems!! read more

Just when I had completely given up on my margarita drenched phone, Josh came to the rescue! I took my badly water (well it sat in a pool of spilled margarita for 30 minutes or so) damaged phone into the Apple store and another phone repair store down the street from me and both companies didn't even give my phone a chance. Josh was not only able to bring my phone back from the dead, but it actually seems to be working much better than it was before! Not only is he a miracle worker, but his customer service is top notch. Haven't had as personal of an experience in any industry in a while. Would definitely recommend Josh's services to anyone I know that is in need of iPhone support, he will have my business for years to come. read more

I've never written a Yelp before, but the fact that my meeting with MobileiPhoneGuy urged me to write one should speak volume. I had an issue with my iPhone 6 Plus that I've never seen on anyone else's before: the middle of the screen was not being responsive. If I wanted to press a button on that area, I couldn't. He drove to my house and fixed my screen within 20 minutes, much faster than any other repair place I've been to. Just talking to him, you're assured that he definitely knows what he's doing. Overall, great service and a great guy to talk to! Definitely referring him to all my friends and family. Thanks again, Josh! read more

So I dropped my phone getting out of my car, and boom shattered screen. And first person I thought of calling was MobileIphoneGuy!! I have alway heard good reviews about him from friends and Instagram so I decided to text him for a quote on my cracked screen. And within minutes I got a response! I was able to set an appointment to fix my screen within a few days. I'm just glad he had room in his day to fix my screen in a short times notice. Once I met with M.i.G. He was very professional and you can tell he knew exactly what he was doing! After a few minutes a couple jokes were cracked and I ended up finding out he was a pretty funny guy. Super easy to talk to. It never got awkward while I sat there and got my screen fixed. All in all he did a great job on my iPhone 5s cracked screen. Everything is working perfectly. I would recommend him to everyone with an iPhone problem! I will forsure be coming back if I ever crack my screen again (i hope I don't though). Thanks M.i. read more

I wake up on Saturday morning with a huge feeling something bad was going to happen. 6 hours later, I'm talking with some friends, quickly turn around, and knock my friend's iPhone out of his selfie stick. As my mind just goes "fuck", it hits the floor face first and shatters. I heard about MobileIphoneGuy from some friends and hit him up. That same day, the screen looks brand new.
