I made it clear multiple times that I wanted to protect my personal data and did not consent to discussing or providing sensitive information where others could hear it. I should not have had to repeatedly explain that I wanted my privacy respected. The entire interaction was embarrassing and unprofessional. If you work in the phone repair business, customers should be able to expect a proper diagnosis, clear communication, respect for their privacy, and basic courtesy. I am asking management to review the security camera footage from around 1:15 p.m. so they can see how this interaction was handled and evaluate the conduct of their employees for themselves. I came back 20 minutes later to pick up my phone and immediately noticed some of the touch screen features were not working. i came back and the person fixing the screen was being purposefully confusing about what was going on, then said that the iphone screen wasnt compatible with my IOS. I came back again and said that this was not explained to me prior, and he then proceeded to say i just needed to update my phone and that "it wont be like that in a few days." i updated my phone and the features did not reappear, and i was going to come back in to "get my old broken screen put back in" (lol) and my entire phone screen turned bright yellow (with 0 translucence) and completely broken and unusable. i then went to apple to have my screen fixed, costing me hundreds of more dollars and now this business will not refund me for the "200+ dollar SERVICE" scam that resulted in my phone being broken. theyre using low quality products that cant even last a few days and they expect you to go and let them mess with your phone further if theyre the ones who damaged it. this is the first negative review ive ever left in my life! this was ridiculous.
