I got a few quotes from near by places but they seemed astronomically high and all I wanted was a simple screen repair, especially because I was leaving to Europe in a couple of days. I put out project request via Yelp and that's when I came across Trufyx - and to be quite honest, I'm really happy I did. Their price was fair for the model of my phone. They came to my apartment and had one of their representatives take my phone and fixed it in under 15 minutes, and I had my phone back good as new. My only feedback is the screen used isn't an Apple screen so I did get a notification stating "this device was repaired not using an Apple product" but I didn't particularly care for that because I know I could have gone to Apple for their repair services but the price didn't align with my budget.

(For food, duh) Today was my second time repairing my screen here at MobileFlex. Last time was about a year ago and it was just as smooth today as it was then. It's a small stall on the second floor. There are two guys there and the owner or the man in charge (guy with glasses) is a skilled, honest worker and very kind. Fee ranges from $80-100 depending on the degree of damage. You sign a receipt and come back in 30 minutes. In the meantime, grab something to eat in the food court downstairs or wander around the interesting Korean beauty stores and bakeries on the same block. Pleased with the quality of their repair work. Now I've got a shiny new screen again. Yaaay! Highly recommend.

When i went in there, they said it'll take like 40 minutes to fix so I decided to have lunch around the area and came back for my phone afterwards. Phone screen was fixed. New screen is responsive to touch. Color is not bad either altho there is a small spot on the screen which is somewhat brighter. Its not really noticeable for me so I don't really care. Pretty awful. The only reason I am leaving two stars is because my screen is actually repaired and…read moreworks. My home button does not. I took my Iphone 6 Plus here because my original quote through yelp for this place was the most reasonable. When I went to actually get the work done, the man I met with said that the home button needed to be replaced as well. This brought the price up by $30. Okay fine. Only thing is, he failed to tell me that the replacement button 1. Would not function the same as the original 2. Would not support touch ID. I got my phone back and not only did the home button not work, but the sensor (near the front camera) did not work either. Whenever, I made a call and placed the phone to my ear, it would not know to turn the screen off, so I ended up "ear dialing" other contacts while already on the phone. I took the phone back complaining about the issues and the gentleman who repaired it insisted that I had had some prior repairs which contributed to the sensor not working. He also said he forgot to tell me that touch ID would not work on the replacement home button. He offered to put my old screen back on and return my money. He sifted through cracked screens and produced what he insisted was my original cracked screen. It was not my screen, my screen was so destroyed that it could not be reattached. This was why I was so confused that he would offer to put it back on. After saying repeated that the mildly cracked screen he had pulled out was "100 percent" my original screen, I asked him to look again. He finally found my actual screen which had chunks of glass falling off(as I remembered it) and said oh, okay, here is your screen. When he pulled off the new screen, he found that there was a sticker covering the sensor and that was why it was not working. He apologized and asked if I wanted to proceed with putting the old screen back on now that he'd realized the issue. I told him it was fine to keep the new screen on, as long as the sensor worked correctly. All in all it was a huge hassle, and I have to press home repeatedly AND hold my phone at a certain position to get it to turn on from sleep mode. Hopefully, I'll never be in an emergency situation where I need my phone to make a call right away.

12/28/18 I brought my apple watch series 1 to this store for an LCD screen repair. Before I drop…read moreoff the watch, I showed Arsen the watch. We examined it to see if it be could be repaired. We tested out the touch screen (both soft and hard touch), it was still working 98%. It was a little slow. My watch was in his shop for 2 weeks. Arsen called me 1/4/19 to tell me there was a delay in the shipping. He called 1/8/19 to tell me they tried to replaced the screen twice and the motherboard would freeze. Going back to when I dropped it off. It was slow NOT freezing. He says to get the motherboard fix it would basically cost the price of getting a new watch. I said that's not an option. He says he will charge me $45 for the labor. I said, ok can I pick it up today(1/8/19). He said well we're still working on it. I'm thinking to myself Idk, anything about a motherboard. So what exactly are you working on? I brought my watch in 12/28/18. I get it, the holidays were around so a small delay in pick up. I called today (1/13/19)to pick up the watch. My watch is completely dead, lucky I have my charger to see exactly what's going on, but I'm already irritated because its taking a while to turn on. I pay Arsen $45 he hands me my watch and the screen is literally falling out. I said, "when I came in my screen was not falling out like that". You have to melt the adhesive and pry open the edges for it to lift. Please fix it how it was when i came in. He said, it was like that remember? No I dont sir I dont, and you know that. He said I will put some reinforcement on it to hold it in place. I said, please. Ok. I'm very soft spoken and respectful. So I appreciate the professionalism in handling my device to be handled with care. I said my watch broke last year. Yes, 2018.. a few months ago and it was very functional. I know the screen was cracked, but the handling of my device was just poor and distasteful. I didn't need two weeks for you to tell me it wasn't possible to fix. It looked the same when I gave it to you. You fix apples watches. I know you came across a cracked screen before. You could have easily said, this can not be fixed without changing the motherboard. It was such a waste of my time and I shelled out $45 just for you to basically insinuate that you "tried to fix it". Service not rendered. Make sure you know how your device functions before and after in any repair shop. Also, make sure they clarify what they CAN & CANNOT do, before you waste your time. Its like deep down he knew it couldn't have been fixed. I'm so sad. The screen won't stay in place. I legit want to cry. He knows and I know that it was NOT like that. So i cant use it‍. Side bar: At first he tried to charge me $150, but "forgot" he quoted me $100 over the phone. Then he said, oh.. ok. I remember. In general, I like to confirm quotes to make sure it's consistent when I arrive in person.
