Are they cheaper then other competitors? Yes. Do they stand behind their quality? Questionable. When my screen cracked, I resorted to Mobile Square and everything was fixed within two hours. I even brought a tempered glass screen protector from them for $15 and they installed it before I left the store. Fast forwarding three weeks later, my phone drops from my bed stand. I didn't even think much of it because it was such a small drop but the next morning there was a small cracked. I originally thought the crack was only on my tempered glass screen protector but when I lifted off my screen protector, my screen had the exact same crack as the screen protector, meaning the tempered glass screen protector didn't protect my phone at all. Went back to Mobile Square within their 30 days warranty, they basically said there was nothing they could do. They claims their screens are from the original manufacture and they do not make guarantee their tempered glass screen protectors. They ended up offering me $15 dollars off my $140 screen replacement, but I ended up going to another competitor to get the screen replacement. read more

Normally would go to irepex to fix my broken screen however they are closed on a Sunday so found this alternative on kijijii. The ad posted a $45 dollar cost for an iphone 5. I called to confirm and they said yes and it would take 20 min as posted on a first come first serve basis. So we get here and turns out my gfs phone is a 5S..no biggie it would cost $59 instead. We shopped for about 30 min...giving them an extra 10 and..it was not ready. The technician had replaced the screen and scratched it so they had to replace the replaced screen. No apologies needed. We picked it up 20 min later. Now, if you're paying cash there isn't tax added but if not there is. Not even if they made you wait twice the time they had assured. Anyhow, we picked up the phone only to find the new screen did not pick up keypad sensors as it normally would. So on our first visit the screen has already been replaced 3 times...In the end we did wait longer than intended however the screen and sensor works great, very reasonable priced and they made up for it with a free screen protector and phone case. Would recommend if you have some time and this is at a convenient location for you. read more

This place is amazing! I dropped and cracked my iPhone 6s, and I found them online. The price ($70) is much lower than what Apple charges. I was really nervous about taking my phone to a third party, because my friend had gotten her phone screen fixed (at a different place) and it was slightly crooked. Additionally, some people I asked for advice said that my iPhone would never feel like an iPhone again. Not true! Took it in this morning: easy to find, and super fast, just 40 minutes. My phone is good as new and it still feels as pristine as it did before. Thank you, Mobile Square. Would not trust them! There was another person there who I heard needed to do something with their battery, the same phone as mine and they told him to leave it here and come back in 2 hours. I came asking to fix my power button for Samsung. Before coming here I went to a couple of places and they told me it was just my power button and quoted me a price. I gave my phone to the guy to look at. The first thing he does was take my battery out and kept it aside. Then he pushes on the home button and power button saying that it seems like both of them have problems. On their website, it says 40$ for the power button and 45$ for the home button but he told me it would cost 140$ for both. I laughed knowing that he was trying to rip me off. Then he tells me that they do not have time today and to come back tomorrow. When returning my phone he did not give back my battery and I had to ask for it back. That is when he gave me a lot of attitude and pretended that was not my battery, luckily there was another person there who saw him take it out of my phone as well. He then said that he must have mixed it up and yelled at me for coming so late but it was 2.5 hours before they closed. It could be that he really did make a mistake but the fact that he was going to charge me 140$ when their website says 40-45. He also took my battery out then pressed on home and power button..How would it turn on without a battery? And on top of that, the other places I went to said it was only power button but he said it was also the home button. I just wanted to say that there were two people working there, I am not sure if I was talking to the owner or not. I do realize that almost all the reviews are five stars so it could be that I was just dealing with a bad employee. But I would not recommend or ever go back this place due to the experience I had. read more

Shattered my OnePlus One; some places offered $160 to do it and others said that they didn't have the parts. However, these guys guys had the parts and did the job for $75. They were very friendly as they explained what they were going to do, and did the job quick too. They also gave me a 30 day warranty for the worst case situation. These guys are the biggest crooks known to man. They fixed my screen with an aftermarket part claiming that was an original part. The resolution on my screen was distorted because of this. My son's iPad seemed to be broken beyond repair. I brought it in thinking there was no way they could fix it, but I would try to at least save the data. To my disbelief they were able to fix it. While the cost was very reasonable it was not worth repairing the same iPad so they suggested transferring the data to a new iPad which I did. After it was done and I paid, my son realized his game status and other info was not transferred. Mobile square went above and beyond to help me get everything back even though it was not part of the scope of work. I was very pleased with their service and I highly recommend them. read more

** WARNING ** SAVE YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! These guys helped me fix my Nexus 4 screen after I dropped it. It was all fine and dandy after I left the store with a working phone. It didn't even take a day for it to stop working again because some how the screen cracked within 24 hrs. The quality of the materials were probably in question, but when I went to the store to get it replaced, they said to me that the warranty doesn't cover it and I would have to pay again to get it replaced. They claimed it was impact damage but impact damage usually shows signs of cratering around the point of impact. There was no cratering, just 1 random crack that appeared on the side of the phone going towards the middle. The crack got bigger cause the guy tried to clean it? or something...he kept rubbing it and now it reaches the top of the phone. The warranty is total bullshit since it doesn't cover cracked screens even though I did nothing with the phone. -70/10 for the $70 I threw in the garbage. Garbage place. Garbage materials. Do not perform higher level repairs, they insist on replacing whole sections of the phone instead of individual parts. This leads to unnecessarily expensive repairs. Came here with my Galaxy S4 to replace front broken glass, they said they do not do just the glass and quoted a ~$100 repair for the whole lcd assembly. A phone shop in First Markham Place offered me the fix I needed for $40. Phone is once again great, but no thanks to these guys. They were nice about it, but made it seem like the repair I was looking for was an unreasonable expectation. read more

Dishonest group of guys. Brought in my s6 edge to get inspected as it wouldn't turn on. The guys claimed the screen and battery were both bad and the repair was 300+ to fix. I declined and sold as is on kijiji for $100 - off the basis of the diagnosis from Mobile Square (which I also had to pay). Guy who bought it only needed to replace the battery which was $20. Screen was fine. Sold a perfectly repairable phone worth $450 bc mobile square wanted to make some extra $$. Very Dishonest and not trust worthy. Go somewhere else. read more

Came here to fix a cracked screen and replace the battery on a iPhone 5. When I returned to pick up the phone I was told that they couldn't replace the battery. When I asked why not? He really couldn't give me an answer lol. They replaced my cracked screen but it was installed incorrectly. The lower half of my screen had to be pushed down really hard if you wanted it to function. One of my friends had software issues with his iphone. When he contacted them over the phone they told him that they can fix the problem and he can come bring it in. He drove 45 mins to get there to be told that they can't fix the problem, without even taking a look at the phone. They wasted his time and gas. Beware of any positive reviews, because they offer you a free screen protector if write a good review for them on the spot. read more

I came here to fix my screen after it shattered from dropping on the ground. They were able to fix my phone in less than an hour. Several months later I started having minor issues with my phone, which I blamed on the software. I would press on an app and it would open another app. Then the issues became worse: I couldn't colour backgrounds on snapchat without the colour going in all different directions, my screen kept freezing, my keyboard constantly disabled and I couldn't press on letters or emojis because my keyboard was not calibrated properly. Yes, I have tried restarting my phone multiple times and I even tried upgrading the software to see if it was a glitch, but I keep getting these issues. I could not take my phone back to get it fixed there since the 30-day warranty (I believe) expired, and apparently, Apple will not fix or even touch phones that have been repaired somewhere else. I would not recommend coming here to fix your iPhones because it is not worth the risk of acquiring further complications in the future. read more

I had them fix my iPad mini in Oct.They replaces the screen. A few days ago the left side of the screen stopped responding. Took it in again and had repaired. The next day I put it on the side table ( not hard at all) and the corner cracked. I called around and everyone is telling me that the screen wasn't installed properly for it to crack that easily. I called them and they refuse to do anything. Very rude and horrible service. Also the iPad has a case on it at all times. read more

Horrible Customer service, DO NOT GO HERE, they "fixed" my screen and it was raised up past the casing which ended up breaking a week later and did NOTHING to rectify the problem. I drove 30 minutes to go see them and the one employee actually laughed in my face and said "well what do you want me to do about it?." How about I'd like you to fix the problem you created.
