On my way into work this morning, I decided to stop at Vons and pick up some snacks, before I got to work. Came back out in less than ten minutes to find my rear passenger window had been smashed in, and found my lunch box thrown on the ground in front of my poor Prius. Thank God nothing was stolen, not even my Pollo Loco burrito that was in my lunch box. After a few select curse words, I continued into work contemplating as to what to about this situation. Did some research on my iPhone about some local mobile auto window repair services, only to find out that one (Safelite) could get the job done in two days. Another could do it in two days also and a $100 cheaper price, and finally called mobilesgvautoglass, and spoke to Diego who quoted me a fair price (cheaper than the other two) but most importantly, he said the technician could be there in less than an hour or two. The technician, Marlon called upon arrival and took less than an hour to clean up the broken glass and install the new window. It functioned perfectly and they accepted my credit card for payment. Now, one point I wish to make is that they did not use OEM (Toyota) branded glass, but my car is over (9)nine years old and I think she doesn't mind that it's not OEM.
Overall, I was COMPLETELY SATISFIED with the speed, quality of work and material, and fair pricing(savings of at least $140) from the first quote from a nationally known auto window repair company.
All in all, if you should have something unfortunate like this happen to you, and you don't mind having an aftermarket window on your older vehicle, AND wish to have it repaired on the same day(Great convenience) I highly recommend giving this company your business.
Nothing fancy, just quick, fair priced and convenient, quality service!
***Window smashed at 8:00 am and new window installed by noon, and resentment released by lunch time.
