Mike gave me a estimated quick quote over the phone and came over to measure my windows and door and his new quote was lower than the one he gave me on the phone. He ordered my Clear View Retractable Screen for the front door and in less than a week he came back and installed the Clear View Retractable Screen. and replaced all my window screens. He was on time, well dressed, polite, professional and even smelled better than the "smell good plumber". I highly recommend Mike's business. I used another company years before and the screen quality was terrible. The frames were super thin and the screens were not tight. You get what you pay for, I've been replacing the screen every year on my sliding screen door, mainly becuase I purchase cheap/inexpensive screen. Mainly went cheap becuase of Boomer the Boxer who loves to run through the screen. These guys were awesome came out to my place on Supper Bowl Sunday took the measurments for a stronger studry door. Door was installed as promised, price was not overpriced. More importantly it was American made, an American local business provided the service. Mike was friendly and very professional. They are well made and highly secure but look like regular screen doors and window screens. They are well made and are not cheap but what is peace of mind worth? Unfortunately, the customer experience didn't quite keep up. The original turnaround didn't fit my schedule, and I was completely fine waiting a few weeks. The technician, however, insisted on "squeezing me in" the very next day--presented very much as a favor. Once that was confirmed, he let me know there would be no arrival window, which I understood. I just asked for a quick heads-up before he arrived since I wouldn't be home (a sitter would be). Fast forward to delivery day: no heads-up, just a call expressing irritation that no one answered the door. That part felt... avoidable. The tone of the interaction came across as condescending, as if I had somehow inconvenienced him by accepting the favor I didn't ask for in the first place. To put it simply: great screen, great customer service with scheduling but questionable tech customer service. If the initial quote had come with that same attitude, I would have gone in a different direction. Quality work, but I'd think twice before signing up for the full experience again. 5 star for quality (from what I can tell so far), 2 for customer service.
