Called Roadrunner and the tech was there in about half an hour and fixed the slide in about ten minutes. He had us follow him to a free, hard-to-find campground just out of town called Yellow Circle which was big enough for our rig and we had a great night drinking beer and chatting with some other folks out there. Nick charged $480 to repair the fridge in our RV. His fix did nothing to cool the fridge, but he…read moredid manage to break the freezer. The next morning he promised us on 4 separate calls that he was 5 minutes away. After 3.5 hours of waiting, it was clear that Nick had no intention of ever showing up again. There are much more fun ways for you to throw away your money. Don't waste your time with Nick. Follow up: The owner, Dennis, returned our call. There was no justification or even explanation for why Nick ghosted us after promising multiple times to show up to further work on the fridge. He did, however, clearly communicate that he could not be bothered with the fact that Nick's actions delayed our departure by 3 hours, which caused us to get caught in a terrible windstorm. Had Nick been honest that he had no intention of showing up, we could have been safely set up at our new location rather than hunkered down at a gas station in the middle of nowhere. Nick nor Dennis exhibits any empathy or understanding that their actions impact others.

I hired Andrae (RV Home Repair) to install a solar and electrical system in my camper. The work…read moreturned out to be unsafe and had to be professionally removed - wires overheated and smoked, exposed terminals and lead-acid batteries were placed inside the cabin without proper venting. He caused damage to my cabinets and ceiling, cut himself during the install, vomited on-site and appeared disoriented - raising serious red flags. He is *not* certified, blamed me, refused to refund anything and stopped responding after I requested reimbursement. I had to pay a certified RV technician to redo the system safely. This was an expensive and stressful experience. Avoid at all costs.

My husband had the unfortunate experience where the men's stall had human waste all over it. This was after hours, but it was still so in the morning. While I realize it's caused by another guest, I recommend there be some periodic inspection by the staff to clean as necessary like other sites we've stayed at. Now, it was a partially due to a storm that caused a power outage, and I know this isn't the KOA's fault whatsoever, but the way things were handled were terrible and communication was very poor. They simply didn't care or try to do anything to make the stay a better experience. We spent two days in the heat with no pool access, no power to our campsite, and they only texted about an activity on Saturday that would have cost us $45 for our 3 kids to color on some t shirts. They let us know Saturday that the pool was probably going to remain closed for the rest of our visit, which was the main reason we stayed here. And somehow they could accept payment for the t shirt activity but they couldn't sell us some propane from the office. Definitely looking at other options for RV parks in Moab for the future.
