When I first bought my RV a year ago, the folks at Omega mentioned a few things that could/should be checked when they came out to look at my fan, but I really coildn't afford it then. Last summer it started raining on my couch. Yikes! Omega Mobile RV to the rescue and then some! They came out to look at the roof, and then gave my whole house a complete looking at like they wanted to do the first time. It was worth the visit to have a list of things that needed repair alone. The roof was in need of more that just a leak repair, it needed a whole new roof. Sure, the price scared me, but it was going to be inexpensive compared to a roof on a stationary house! Over the course of more than a week, they were up there removing damaged parts of the roof, cleaning and repairing stuff that could not wait, and then laying out a brand new roof with the RV specific roofing materials that would last. The transformation was amazing. And they finished just in time before the rains showed up! The water stayed OUTSIDE where it's supposed to be. Speaking of water, my bathroom had a leak, one I couldn't fix or figure out. It turned out that the big box RV place that had installed my toilet new shortly before I bought the RV, had damaged parts of the plumbing causing the leak in the first place. Omega Mobile RV very carefully repaired and replaced parts that they had quoted me a price on and did a fabulous job, and it turned out they fixed it quicker and for less than the estimate they gave me. They checked EVERYTHING!!! What a fantastic job they did!!! I'll be forever grateful for all their hard work!!! Speaking of hard work, one of my other ceiling fans had stopped working, and once again instead of buying a completely new fan, they ordered the parts to be able to test and repair the fan like they did for the first one, and saved me a fortune instead of insisting on a completely new fan like the big box place said would be required. Omega Mobile even showed me what they were doing so that if it happened again, I'd be able to fix it myself!!! The other major repair was my fridge/freezer!!! That also failed during the sumner, and Omega was able to source the parts to properly repair my fridge/freezer and get that working properly! Again for less than the big box RV place said it would cost! Best part, it was also less expensive than they had quoted me, again, thrilling me to no end. It felt like weeks of work, all the large and small things that needed to be repaired replaced, but every step of the way, they provided me with a careful up front estimate on parts and labor and gave me options in terms of how best to get it done, and they were completely honest and upfront about the costs. The best part was when the cost was less than their original quote because they were able to save me money. They got so much work done! My heater still needs service/repair but since I'm usually avoiding going places that cause me to need heat, I'm saving to have Omega Mobile RV Repair put in a new more efficient solar airconditioner!!! At this point Omega is my first and only call when my RV needs work. I love the fact that they are so careful and transparent about costs, and what a fantastic job they did on all the little things that make my home more livable!!! It's well worth the time and money I spent to have them carefully evaluate the things that needed repair and then provided me with an estmate so there were no suprises (except good ones) when it came time to get the work done. Would I call them again? Oh very much so!!!

During the visit, the technician spent a limited amount of time inspecting the issue and suggested that the leak was likely due to aging seals around the slides and windows. However, they were not able to confirm the exact source of the leak. I did receive a follow-up estimate, but I was ultimately advised to take the RV elsewhere for the repair. After the visit, I continued investigating the issue myself and found that the leak was actually coming from a bolt attachment on the slide awning--something that was not identified during their inspection. Based on my experience, I did not feel that the issue was thoroughly diagnosed despite being charged a diagnostic fee. I was also left unclear on why a service call was performed if the repair would not be completed. I will not be using their services again.

No upgrades had been done to it. So I started searching for a shop capable to do the work I wanted done to it. Falling down the rabbit hole I found Utah Diesel Center and Cameron the owner. I read every review I could find and watched every video also. I then made the call and talked to Melissa (who is awesome) and Jed (my project contact). My list was long and specific. Water pump, body mounts, cold air intake, EGR, turbo downpipe, FASS lift pump, BANKS rear differential and transmission cooler covers, Redhead steering gear, transmission cooling lines and transmission cooler. When Jed came back with the estimate to do the work it was not small but less than many other shops I checked. I dropped the truck off and they had it for a month (which was my plan) and they had no issue getting the truck done. The drive home to Minnesota from Utah went without a hitch. It has been running great and I'm about to get its first oil change since I bought it. So if you're looking for a solid shop with decent rates and a great team to work on your diesel.....and I mean any diesel engine (kinda crazy. We were told we were absolutely required to sign up for Bish Fix and provide them with our credit card or we couldn't have our trainer's warranty work done. Bish Fix requires you to be on the phone with a technician, whose schedule you at the mercy of, to diagnose your own problems and needed repairs instead of taking your unit to their location for problem solving and repair. This includes getting down on the ground or opening panels to access electrical and other areas. Whatever happened to good old fashioned customer service. We will never buy another trainer from Bish and we will not take our trailer there for future maintenance or repair needs.

So, when my wife excitedly said, "We should buy our own trailer!" it seemed perfect for creating our family memories. We visited dealership after dealership, touring countless trailers until they blended together. One day, my wife burst through the door exclaiming, "I found the perfect trailer!" Her excitement was contagious, and we immediately planned to see it. At Bish's RV, the salesperson warmly showed us the trailer. I specifically asked about an inverter, and she assured me it was "wired for one but doesn't include it." Comfortable with that, we discussed financing. She confidently promised they could beat any other bank by 50%, an offer that seemed fantastic. We slept on it and, convinced we'd found our dream trailer, returned the next day to complete the paperwork. After clearly agreeing on our maximum affordable payment, we were shocked to see the actual payment higher than agreed. Despite this, we moved forward, eager for joyful camping memories. Our excitement quickly turned to frustration. During our first trip, we found water leaking beneath the trailer when flushing the black tank. Disappointed, we returned it to Bish's RV, who also replaced a missing dust cap. With hopes restored, we believed our troubles were over. However, while winterizing, we discovered the water heater bypass valve wasn't functioning, forcing another visit. The following season brought more disappointment--the water heater wouldn't start. After a week-long stay at the dealership, we learned it was due to loose wiring. Our breaking point came on our most recent outing. My daughter sat down, and the bench collapsed beneath her. Her shock deeply saddened me. Inspecting further, I found the supports poorly stapled, careless and avoidable. Later, my wife quietly asked, "Does the fridge look strange?" Our hearts sank as we saw it falling into the cabinet, shattering our dreams of joyful, relaxing trips. Feeling disheartened, we contacted BishFix. Despite the warranty, they required a $190 upfront fee. We reluctantly paid, enduring a month of delays and frustrations as the technician awaited BishFix authorization. Another traumatic moment was the door lock failing, locking us out. Since we live in our trailer full-time due to my wife's role as a camp host, this was more than inconvenient--it was terrifying. After dinner with family, we found the key spinning uselessly in the lock. Panic overwhelmed my youngest daughter, who had a heartbreaking panic attack. Roadside assistance repeatedly asked for my details, promising callbacks but never helping. Desperate and exhausted, I pushed out a window screen and lifted my nephew inside to unlock the door. Finally, I drove an hour and a half to Bish's RV to speak directly with someone. After repeatedly explaining our situation, feeling unheard and overlooked, they arranged for a technician the next day. Upon arrival, the technician confirmed my suspicion that the blinds were installed backward. The always polite and professional service desk employee promised the Regional Manager would contact me. When he did, rather than providing solutions, he shared unrelated frustrations about delays on his expensive home project. Feeling even more unheard and dismissed, he eventually promised to evaluate our trailer's current value, leaving us waiting again. We've documented numerous build-quality issues, heartbreakingly evident from our very first trips. Photos show these issues clearly, but the emotional toll--the disappointment, broken promises, and seeing my family's excitement dashed repeatedly--is immeasurable. Even the door, randomly locking or refusing to open, symbolizes our experience. We share this hoping other families can avoid the heartache we've endured. However Dallan RV was able to go above and beyond and get special permission to have it serviced at a different location here in Boise under the existing warranty. They have been very responsive over any issue that we have had with this purchase. Even if it was just for a couple loose handles. Highly recommend this company!!!
