I gave them a fair shot but too many little things added up; the hair cuts weren't consistent and they would keep my dog in a cage for hours before they would even get to her. Eventually I left to another groomer who I have been thrilled with. Lately, it's been very difficult to get an appointment post covid so my normal groomer was backed up. Someone posted about this new place and I figured I give them a shot. When the day of the appointment came, I realized it's the old Mani Pedi but still felt like a new establishment deserves a chance especially post COVID. I should have listened to my gut. It turns out it is still the same people working there, just news owners. The had me pay before my dog was brought out. I paid 100 and tipped on top of that. In hindsight I should have waited to see her first. It's the worst haircuts she has ever gotten. She did have some knots which I pointed out when I came in knowing they may have to cut them out but they basically shaved her down all the way everywhere. Even where they just shaped her face, it's all uneven. They told me they cut her nails but couldn't smooth them down because they were out of the part/machine that does that. I took her to the car and sat for a bit. I never complain but went back in to talk to them. They basically told me that the owners would call me. I got an automatic text message after the service and left honest feedback. They emailed me again asking what the problem was and said the owners will call me next week as they are away. In 42 years, I have never left a bad review and I know business are struggling but want to avoid this happening to anyone else's pet.

The service is absolutely deplorable, not to mention the manner in which they didn't mind sending my dogs home. Purely filthy as if they have been in a horse stable for several days! Accountability is not their strong suit and neither is taking care of dogs while they're under their care. Where do I even begin!?!? Let me Istart with the main issue which was they sent one of my dogs home with fecal matter embedded on his behind. They claim he had diarrhea on Saturday, but never told us about it or mentioned any issues with the dog upon pick up. Let it be noted that I have never seen diarrhea, thick and chunky like this ever in my life. It simply slipped their mind to tell my husband that the dogs were under distress and had diarrhea, but please bear in mind that they surely didn't forget to collect the payment from us. What's most disappointing is when this was pointed out to them after calling on four different occasions, and sending one email through their portal in a matter of a day. They were unapologetic and simply didn't care about any of my concerns and tried to say that the dogs were not friendly towards people which I know to be false when we have had them under the care of other doggy daycare's on numerous occasions. Unfortunately, the one the one we go to was booked for the time frame we needed, so which forced us to give this place a try. Once I mentioned this fecal matter, I was told they were also not friendly to the people there and they were scared to clean them. The next thing I was told is that they tried to clean them, but they didn't want to get bit. You would think I brought full grown aggressive dogs there. Please bear in mind that they are 8 and 35 pound cavapoos and we have never heard this from anyone a day in our life. They are sweet dogs that are friendly, and if they don't feel like being bothered, they stay to themselves, but never are aggressive in any manner. The next thing they went on to say was that they did not like the dogs and we're not friendly to them either. Once I mentioned how disgustingly filthy our dogs were, then I was met with oh they played with the dogs all day and that's why they were so filthy, when just moments ago, you advised that they didn't like any of the dogs and were not friendly to them. If you're going to lie, please remember your lies before you tell another one that totally contradicts the last one. Yes, the manager could care less, but these are the owners that I'm speaking about which is even more deplorable! It likely was difficult to remember since the entire time the owner was discussing and asking for insight with someone else while we were on the phone, as if she cannot speak on her own. Needless to say, my dogs will never be back to this facility and I hope to educate other people on this place and that is in their best interest to find somewhere else to take their pets while they're on vacation! I spent an hour and a half cleaning both dogs thoroughly and trying to get the fecal matter off of the one dog and used an entire bottle of shampoo. To sum this up, The Customer Service is poor, care and attention that they put on the animals is poor, the accountability aspect is poor and rather than saying, our dogs are not people friendly dogs, they should look at themselves because they are definitely not in the right business to provide customer service to paying customers and try to assist customers when they have an issue that their establishment caused. Just to give you a visual of what we experienced when we picked up our dogs, I have attached pictures. I'm sure anyone would agree that that it doesn't have to be a baby to be entitled to a clean environment and a clean body. This is an extremely upsetting state to send a pet home in. They deserve to be treated kindly and taken care of while their owners are away. This was truly a disgrace and they are super unprofessional.

My baby was a senior so he came with his on set of health concerns and the staff attended to all his needs including his medication. I actually took my baby there to spend half a day, just to see how he did and give the staff a chance to see how he reacted to his environment away from home! They have special treats, like pizza night and bagel mornings along with summer swim if you desire. Check out all they have to offer! They offered a tour of the facilities which where very clean and organized. We made a preliminary grooming appointment before the boarding and my dogs were treated like royalty. They did a great job grooming them and keeping them comfortable while they were in their care. Their prices for grooming and boarding where very competitive. Found Hot Dawgs when I took my son to Fade for his monthly visit w TJ. (shout out to them too). Renee at Hot Dawgs answered all of my questions when I booked the appointment. Got in quickly where other places had a week plus wait. The shop is super clean and organized with a spot for you to wait for your dog, if you like. They don't hold the dogs in crates, which I also appreciate. Lucky looked exactly as I asked and smelled amazing! Very reasonable pricing and Renee was very loving and sweet with my dog. The owner asked for shot records(which is normal when boarding a dog) When we produced our shot records it says lab mix/ pit Bull mix on the form because when we first got our puppy we didn't know what his breed was and that's what the rescue guessed he was. We got a DNA test for our puppy and he is a lab mix with no pit Bull. When we told her that she demanded that we bring our dog to meet her to make sure he wasn't aggressive and that she would absolutely not board him without meeting him because of his breed even if it was incorrect on the paper. She stated that we could bring him Sat from 11-1 which is the day we needed him boarded. I asked if we could meet earlier because we needed him dropped off by 11 that day and if she didn't like him we would be screwed out of a puppy sitter and needed to know before the date of drop off if she would accept him. Very rudely she replied that she was very busy and had other dogs to attend to and that we could meet her early next month, which is way after the date we would need our puppy boarded. The owner of this business was unwilling to work with us and was very unprofessional and rude. I recommend you board your dog somewhere that has time for their customers.
