This week finds us in South Jersey at my parents house celebrating the holidays. Our little poodle-mix got a nasty ear infection. She is prone to them so we weren't surprised that it happened, but we know it gets very painful for her, so we needed to get her on medicine right away. She is also going to be on a plane again next week, so the last thing we want is to worry about her sore ear on top of everything else. I called into Shore Veterinarian on the 26th, the day after Christmas. I was able to get a same-day appointment for 4 pm. The woman on the phone was very patient and spoke very clearly. She later called me because there was a cancellation and asked if I could come in sooner. Awesome! Shore Vets is located on the White Horse Pike, right across the street from the Ramada Hotel. There was only one other car in the lot when we arrived and plenty of spots. We headed in and did some short new-patient paper work. After a short wait, I was met by Ken, the Vet Tech. Let me cut to the chase with Ken. He is my favorite thing ever. Zero exaggeration. He brought my dog and I back to the room, took her temp, asked questions... We chatted about life and the west coast. My husband later arrived and they chatted about soccer and Brasil. Ken was the best. Not long after that, the vet came in. I forget her name unfortunately, but she was fabulous. She was patient and took her time with us. We felt like we were the only people in the world. She asked lots of questions and was incredibly thorough. We mentioned that we had a culture done of our dog's ear in the past, but admitted that we didn't really know the results. She took down the name of our dog's vet on the west coast and gave them a call. Within 10 minutes, she had our dog's full vet history from the west coast and was able to properly prescribe our dog the medicine that would be most efficient for her bacterial infection. I was overwhelmingly impressed with how professional yet friendly everyone was, from the front desk, to Ken, to the doc. I didn't have to think twice about making this a 5/5 review. I feel good knowing that if I'm ever visiting my family with my dogs in the future that I have Shore Vets in case something happens.

The services they attempt to provide are overpriced, everything besides the actual act of boardng is ala cart and , what you're buying may, IMIO not actually be worth what they charge $$$ Please uderstand, Im NOT out to decieve anyone and when I say MAYBE the quality hovers around 2 stars and, this is being kind. (Take this review any way you want, unlike some of the reviews regarding All Star, I don't work there. I'm just describing my own experience) Evidently, there's been some changes to management or staff or both and, not all change is good. Besides a recent boardatella scare /spread, an alleged attempt to cover it up failed outright. if that's not sufficient reason to go elsewhere to board the pet you love, to a lesser degree, some current employees are either not aware of their own company policy or worse, cannot seem to grasp or more accurately, comprehend what their own policy actually is. To conclude, save your money, time and most of all peace of mind - thankfully there is more than one place available that WILL truly care for your pet whilst not charging an exorbitant price to do so.

We just returned from a cruise and we had left our 5 month old wired haired dachshund with them. Our baby is a wild child with a ton of energy. We received photos everyday and they worked their magic with her while we were away. She got a lot of attention and socializing with the staff and other dogs. It has made such a difference in her behavior. It is such a relief to know that we can go away with peace of mind and not have to worry about our new fur baby. Thank you to every one at the AC Pet Hotel for taking such amazing care of our little Sophie.

Our dogs can be quite challenging as they don't all get along with eachother but Amy takes it all in stride. The first time we booked Amy, one of the dogs had an unplanned surgery a few days prior to our trip. Our dog Nugget had staples keeping her surgery site closed and she was on pain meds and antibiotics. Nugget needed to be kept separate from the others and was essentially on bedrest. Amy did a fabulous job with Nugget! Nugget's staples all remained intact and Amy was completely comfortable giving Nugget her daily meds. Amy took great care of all the animals both times. Amy is a sweetheart! She has a huge heart for all animals! I would highly recommend Amy to anyone looking for someone to provide loving care to your pets!
