What did we like? Facility - We were looking for a place with an area outside that has actual grass and the other kind they can still play on that doesn't get them all muddy. The other daycare and boarding places didn't have much room for pups to run around or it was just a warehouse and no grass. I swear my dog held his pee until we picked him up and walked him to the grass. This place has lots of room to run around and make them tired! They've got separate indoor areas for doggies that either need a break, a nap or just wants to sit up front with the staff. Staff - The staff is amazing!! They do get to know your dog because they are all animal lovers and they know their behaviors! It's so nice when we walk in and they're already greeting Chewy by name. He loves walking in here, he knows as soon as we turn into the parking lot and just pulls us right inside! It seems they always have fun working there and there's always a celebration, like a doggy birthday or pajama theme day or something. Fun staff for sure! Pricing - very affordable! They do half days and full days. The boarding at night is well priced as well.. and we know our Chewy will be able to run around and play during the day. Grooming - they do grooming, baths and nail trimming too! Cons Only thing i was concerned about in the beginning was not any staff present at night time when you board your dog overnight... but the staff reassured us there are alarms and systems in place where staff would be readily available if needed. They all live really close by. So it hasn't been a problem for us at all! I highly recommend this place for all you doggy needs! If they need exercise, socializing or just doggy friends instead of being home alone.. this is the place for them!

Everyone here is clearly an animal lover - from the receptionist to the bathers, groomers, and of course Millie. My pup is pretty timid and the ladies always take the time to gently coax him back into the grooming area. As for the groomers, they all seem very talented. Karen is my go to person. She is very thorough. My Mason is very fluffy & fur practically "sprouts" out of every possible crevice on him. When Karen is done with him, he looks like he's been to the spa - perfectly trimmed, detailed pedicure, etc. Last time I picked up my pup from Millie's, I was like "My goodness, I didn't think it was possible for you to be any more handsome! You'll need a vaccine certificate from your vet as well as a current rabies certificate. You can bring their favorite bed and a toy. If you prefer they eat what they eat at home, you can bring their food and treats. I label everything so there is no confusion. They will do their best to accommodate your fur baby. My baby was a senior so he came with his on set of health concerns and the staff attended to all his needs including his medication. I actually took my baby there to spend half a day, just to see how he did and give the staff a chance to see how he reacted to his environment away from home! They have special treats, like pizza night and bagel mornings along with summer swim if you desire. Check out all they have to offer! Country Pet Lodge came highly recommended by my vet and k9 and service dogs local organizations! I was extremely happy with their services!

I got on his rooms Webcam and it was nothing more then 4 walls, a concrete floor and what the call an upgraded bed (4 small polls with a piece of canvas as the bed and a towel as a blanket) My dog is medium size and could barely fit on it. He had to curl into a ball to fit on it and was tossing and turning all night. The next morning I logged into his room's Webcame at 7 am. At 7: 30 they came in the room to feed him. At 10 am they came in and took him out for 4 minutes, not enough time to pee and poop then put him right back in the room. He then just laid by the door wanting out. I then called my son who was in town to pick him up. He got there at 10:45 and my dog was still in his room. I could see the 2 dogs on each side of him and they were still in their rooms also, not out playing together. When my son got their, there were only 2 dogs out in the play yard with 2 employees. The 2 employees had water bottles and were yelling at the dogs and spraying them with water. When he can home he was very quiet and not himself for 2 days. He has been going to dog daycare centers since he was a puppy every weekend and boarding once every other month. He has always loved it. I only hope this has not traumatized him from wanting to go to a different place.

The first was my pup's first hair cut so she did a little trim. His face was very square and we didn't love it but Jenny was sweet so we wanted to give her another chance. The second time my dog had a few haircuts in between so we knew what we liked- just a trim, keep him fluffy and his face has to be round. A nice puppy cut with extra floof left on him all over. After discussing this with Jenny, she said she was going to cut off 1/4 of an inch. When we saw our pup we were in shock. Almost all of his fluff was gone, his nose was shaved on top and his ears stuck out of his head. We truly were shocked. This was not what we wanted at all and will not be using this service in the future. I reached out by text before writing this review and did not get the nicest response back. Essentially we were told puppy hair is different then regular hair and they would try better next time. Unfortunately, my dog is only a puppy once and in the matter of an hour all his puppy fur was gone. I would not recommend this service and I'm sad to see my pup without his fur. We will always love him but wow this was not a good groom.
