So, I decided to start researching some companies to take care of replacing my windshield. Of course my first thought is "guess I'll Safelite." And I got the quote.. I thought to myself, "Man, there's bound to be better prices around here." And was I right about that. I decided to grab a quote from precision auto glass through their website. The website was well constructed, operated smoothly, and was esthetically pleasing. The quote process was easy and I recieved a follow up the very next day via text (I applied for the quote on a Sunday evening). After a few questions about my vehicle, they expeditiously fired a quote to me. And was I shocked to see that VERY REASONABLE price. Fast forward to my scheduled appointment. The staff there were all very friendly and quick to go ahead and take my keys and get me checked in. Decent waiting area with comfortable seating and a TV if you decide to stay. It was identified that I had provided them with poor information about the type of windshield I needed (due to having a rain sensor I was not aware of). They notified me of the issue and said they would have to reschedule to allow them to order the appropriate windshield for my vehicle. They originally told me it would cost more. I rescheduled and went about my day. No more than 30 mins later, I recieved a text from them saying the other windshield was more but they would still keep my ORIGINAL quote! Went in to my next appointment. They had it done less than an hour, and I walked out of there spending CONSIDERABLY LESS than I would have, had I went with anyone else. And the price includes lifetime rock chip repair as long as the glass was installed by them! (Which we all have taken some good rock shots on I-15). Great local business, with great employees and great business practices. Would recommend to some of my closest family and friends, included my retired defender brethern, Big Red. Thanks Precision Auto Glass and family. I'll send em your way, and hopefully I don't have to see you soon!

One of the many benefits of driving a crap load of miles each year is the cool things that…read moresometimes hit your windshield. Some times they just scare the hell out of you and other times they leave you little presents as a representation of their love. Rocks on the freeway are true, true givers of love. Enter Safelite. I was fortunate to get TWO little glass kisses on one trip and was super excited about it. I used the internerd to find my options and found Safelite, right here in my area. Logged on to their easy to use mobile site and had a reservation for the following day. So, there I am, showing up and thinking "man, there is NO way they are going to get me in and out of here in a decent amount of time." I'm not exactly a NASCAR fan but I do enjoy minimal times in the pits. The team at Safelite felt my pain and got me in right on time, just like we set up. The tech used the special doohicky, and the thingamajig on my windshield and it worked perfectly. Now, my two "kisses" were kind of close together and he asked if could work a little slower and take time to do it right to prevent the windshield from cracking out. Of course! Thank you! Fast forward to the doohicky and thingamajig being put away and the whatchamacallit cured the resin in the cracks. The tech let me know there was about 1/3 of an inch of the crack he just couldn't get the resin in to but he was able to seal both sides of it to keep it from cracking. Perfect. I can deal with that. So.... we're done. The tech wipes his footprints off of the truck where he was standing in the door (my truck was dirty at the time and this was an added bonus.) He runs my card through the card reader and it ended up a LOT cheaper than I thought it would be. Use these folks. Enjoy their services. They took extra good care of me and I will 100% be back when the freeway doles out some more love to my truck.
