Check in took a bit, there was a long line, and then we had to wait around 15 minutes for the staff to bring out our paddleboards from the boathouse to the launch spot (which of course ate into our 1 hour rental). I believe all of this could have been avoided if we booked ahead! Will definitely be back again next summer, because the spot and the gear is amazing, just hoping the service gets a bit better :)

The boats you rent from this place are not big enough to handle the wakes comfortably. I know some could say that this is not the fault of the boat rental company, but to a great degree, it is. These boats, the size of them and their power, are more appropriate for smaller bodies of water where you have less wakes. They do not have enough power to cut through them. They are about as fast as a two person kayak going full speed. Yeah, that slow. Once I discovered how feeble and underpowered they are, knew I should not venture out far from the coast. So I hugged the shore to avoid the rough waters and went north. Once we got to the cove we turned around. We had brought food for a picnic, but the boat kept rocking so much we couldn't comfortably eat. So even parking and just hanging out wasn't pleasant. Five years ago, I rented a sporty pontoon boat from waterfront adventures. Took my wife out on a lunch date with it and had a wonderful experience. They no longer rent those, but that is my point of comparison. These electric boats are underpowered, unstable and for the price($300+), disappointing. We returned to the docks an hour before our time was up it was that unpleasant. BUT, they are warm with the wind covers down. Have comfortable seats. We made the best out of it and tried to enjoy ourselves. My 2 year old son enjoyed it, and that saved the experience.

Rented a boat for a few hours with friends…read more The boat was clean and easy to navigate. We did a loop of the north end of lake Washington to the 520 bridge and back in 3 hours. The boats are slow, but it makes for a nice relaxing ride. Parking can be a little hard to find in the area, find a spot that covers enough hours for your boat ride.

We are very luck in the Seattle area to have NWOC! I just learned about a Meetup group that does a monthly paddle from NWOC combined with having Swedish pancakes at the nearby (about 4 blocks away) Swedish center. Apparently this happens the first Sunday of each month. Several of us from PTCC plan to try that out.

Staff was friendly and helpful with getting people onto the kayaks/boards safely with life jackets and instructions on how to paddle. I think one extra tip that would be good to know is just pointers on how to find the entrance when we come back since we did get a bit lost, the lake is huge! There are also cubbies to store your personal belongings and changing rooms/restroom. Overall I would recommend and come back.

We recently booked Hot Tub Boats with our friends for a triple date day out, and we had a blaaasssttt! I was the only one of us out of six who had done it, so it was so fun getting to introduce them to Hot Tub Boats. Upon arrival they asked if it was anybody's first time, and as mentioned it was, so they gave us a 10% discount and free epsom salt soak which was so nice of them and totally unexpected. They got us back into the locker room quickly to pack up all of our stuff and get ready to head to the boats. After a quick safety demo we were out! It's so fun to bring along some snacks, refreshing beverages, and hang out on the lake on a nice day with friends. It was so cool seeing several sea planes landing and taking off! My only complaint is that two hours on the boat goes waaaay too fast. But that just gives me an excuse to book again. :) 10/10 do recommend checking them out if you haven't, it's the perfect day out!

The water temperature was just right, and the rose petals and Epsom salt add-on completely elevated the vibe felt luxurious, relaxing, and intentional in all the best ways. You can really tell care was put into creating an experience, not just a service. Ashley was amazing so gracious, accommodating, and welcoming, even though our entire group arrived late (which we really appreciated!). We rented two jetski for the day(4 hour rental) and a facilitator to help us(Osbourne, definitely…read morerecommend him). Because a few incident happened and he was super helpful on them. At first we got there a little late due to traffic, but Osbourne greeted us nicely and helped unload the jetski into the water and such. After we met up with our group at the beach, our first group got on and that's where the incident happened. They got too excited and turned the engine on where it was too shallow, and to no surprise it caught rocks into the propeller of the jetski, which caused that jetski to be unusable. Because of that, we could only use one jetski, but Osbourne was kind enough to contact his company to send out another jetski so our group don't have to be waiting on only one, also there was no extra charge at that point(tho I don't think that could always be the case depending on the damage on the jetski each have caused). But all in all, I'll definitely recommend paying the extra cost for a facilitator, also highly recommend Ohana Kai Watersport for rentals. Aside from the incident, we all had a good time and very much enjoyed the experience. Thank you Osbourne and Ohana Kai Watersports :)
