This was my first time seeing something like this and Boy am I appreciative. Sun City was one of the 5 options in which I messaged 3 of the 5 and received a response from all 3 however the hours and availability as well as the reviews related to Sun is the reason I choose to proceed with Sun City. This place is nestled up a little rocky hill and can easily be mistaken for a small tow yard or parking if driving too fast. I called and schedule an appointment for a FREE diagnosis and upon arriving I was greeted by Sandy who was pleasant and handed me a form to complete as a newbie. I checked in on Yelp and showed Sandy and received my coffee cup (tea cup in my case as I don't drink coffee). The waiting area is small with 4 seats and a television, I was lucky to be there when I was as I had the second seat. Chuck took me out to show me under the car and explain what I needed and he was so thorough to even out the items in order of importance in the chance that the cost was out of budget. I actually decided to get everything done as the total for it all plus several extra things was still 1/4 of the cost provided by the dealer with labor. We were leaving town the next day and Chuck allowed us to leave the car over the weekend and once we picked it up Monday it drove like the day I drove it off the lot new. In two cases, I needed a tire rotation (free with tires purchased at any Discount Tire location). On the third vehicle, I had a tire with a slow leak that needed investigation and repair. In all three instances, they were able to get me scheduled quickly. I was able to get in and out in about an hour each time. The guys in the shop greeted me pleasantly and didn't exercise any intensive upselling on products or services that I did not schedule for or need. Overall, I've been pleased with Discount Tire as a service company for several years and am happy with this new to me location thus far. I've spent $0 with this location but have walked away with great service each time which is what will bring me back to spend money when I need to. I do recommend.

I was at 5600 and it was gnawing at me. So I called this place from my hotel room and he gave me the price over the phone and also gave me a free car wash. The price over the phone wasn't fantastic, it was mid to high range. My synthetic changes are usually around $80. The truck takes 6.5 quarts so it is always a few dollars higher than their advertised synthetic change rate. But I did also desperately need to get the salt and sand off of my car from the blizzard I had driven through the night before, so the $10 savings on the car wash for me made the deal a little sweeter. Also, his demeanor over the phone convinced me that this was the place I would trust with my FJ Cruiser, Sanchez. Yes, I named my truck. That's how much I love it and CARE about who touches it. While sitting in the waiting room I spoke with a few other customers who were in there. These were long term customers...they had been going to this guy for years. They all loved him and trusted him. Even a couple of Bostonian transplants, who are generally distrusting, couldn't say enough nice things. The owner also came in and spoke with me directly about my car taking a quart and a half more of the synthetic. Which I knew but had forgotten. Everything about the place made me feel like they were handling my truck properly. I can't tell you how different it was from some of the others where I literally stand and watch to make sure they're putting in synthetic and not just charging me for it while dumping in regular oil. Anyway, they got me right in. No pressure to sell me anything extra (I knew I didn't need it, but these places always seem to push anyway). They got me in and out quickly, charged me $80 and I was on my way with clean oil and a clean exterior and vacuumed interior. It made the last 500 that much less tedious.

Changing out the tire! charging you for what a tire costs! Meanwhile the tire sensor read psi just fine on the way there. How else did I notice a nail in the tire causing a slow leak? A tire sensor can't read pressure if it's broken y'all. The tire pressure sensor worked before you broke it changing out the tire. There's procedure preventing this damage from happening. It's not even OEM replacement. Sticks out like a sore thumb. This place is Scamming ! After the old manager left a while back they've been throwing all kinds of nonsense. Watch out ! Plus they dig around the rest of your vehicle recommending spark plugs and filters when all you put in for was a flat repair. Get out of town.
