After reading great reviews here and on the Lakeway Swap page on FB, I tasked this place to etch…read moresome Yeti's for me for Christmas gifts. I wanted my hubby's business logo on one side and his and his employee's names/initials on the other (I bought the Yeti's myself and brought them in to be etched). I am super happy with the end product and everyone I have corresponded with here has been very nice. My beef is the poor communication. I"m guessing this is a new and upcoming business? And I understand they were very busy around the holidays, but I would estimate 8 times out of ten that I called them I got a voicemail, left a message and did not get a prompt reply. This place is located in Dripping Springs, so, not so easy just to drive out there to talk to someone. Also, not easy to drive all the way out there to see if your product is ready on Dec 23rd when they won't respond to your messages and confirm that it is indeed done and ready. They didn't inspire a lot of confidence again with the email system. After several attempts at sending them the proper size of biz logo for the etching (it took the 3rd attempt for them to be specific with the file size needed), they sent me a proof that I immediately ok'ed and they responded with a "great, we'll get your order started!". Almost TWO WEEKS later I get an email asking if I'd looked at the proof they'd sent and could I OK it? Uh.....and this on the day they estimated my Yeti's to be done, not just getting started. Like I said, I know it's the holidaze and I really do love the end product, but the process was fairly stressful. I just think they need to work out those kinks and they'd be great!

I ordered yeti tumblers etched with monogram initials. The initials were JDA. The font for the J…read morelooks like a backwards be. No part of it resembles a J. I called to find out if there was something or someway to fix or redo the tumbler and they said I should've asked for a proof. They only offer two options for monogram one looks like a man's style and one looks like a woman's which is fancier. The sample they show on the website is easy to decipher what letter they are. Who would've thought a proof would be needed when choosing three initials. I understand if I had a logo or artwork, but for three initials seemed unnecessary. Most websites show you an example of what your monogram would look like - there's doesn't. Now I'm stuck with a ridiculous looking yeti that I'm supposed to give as a gift. The company offered no resolution whatsoever!

AVOID THIS BUSINESS, ESPECIALLY FOR ANY SERVICE. As a first time customer with this establishment,…read moremy experience was unfortunately terrible and I'm writing this as a courteous warning to others who may look to do business here. Upon searching for local establishments and seeing positive reviews and praise for customer service, I wanted to give them a chance. I brought in two watches that needed simple battery replacements, one for my wife and one of my own. Upon bringing the watches in, the lady who assisted me seemed friendly enough. I was informed that they no longer do battery replacements in house and they would need to be sent out. Bit of a surprise but ok, I wasn't in a terrible hurry to get them back and was told it'd be a couple of weeks. I received a call within the allotted time telling me they had come in and were ready to be picked up. I go to the store the very next day to retrieve them, being helped by the same person who took them in originally. My wife's watch was running perfectly fine. Mine however I noticed when handed to me was not running at all. I pointed this out and the lady called over another associate who she claimed was the one responsible for quality checks when items came back in from service. This second lady informed me that it had been running the day before when it was checked in but "sometimes they get sent back with a dead battery" and they would need to send it back. She then took it to their back room (with window facing the showroom so everything is visible where she attempted to open the watch but soon returned saying it was more complicated of a movement than she felt comfortable working with so they would send it back to the repair vendor. Red flags, but I want it fixed. Same drill as previous, they will let me know when it's ready within another couple of weeks. About a week and a half later I get a call that my watch has come back in, but am told it is not working and came back with a note that it needs to be sent in to the manufacturer. After naturally asking some questions so I fully understand what exactly was the issue, the girl on the phone became very easily flustered and VERY defensive. Not the customer service I was expecting. I wasn't being disrespectful in any form, just asking questions trying to understand what situation I was now in with a broken watch that was working perfectly fine when I took it in. I go in a few days later to pick up my watch and ask to speak with a manager so I can voice my concerns and displeasure. I relayed the timeline of events to the manager I spoke with, who retrieved and showed me my watch as it was returned with nothing but a sticky note that said to send it in to the manufacturer. No detail or explanation as to what was now wrong. Upon inspection, the crown no longer worked when trying to set the time and no movement of the hands. I was apologized to by the manager and was told that they would look further into it with their repair vendor to try and find out more info so I'd at least have something to go to the manufacturer with. I was also informed at this time that I would almost certainly be contacted by the owner, Mr. Borrego to discuss the issues with me. It has now been a full two weeks with no contact, so out of sight out of mind. I will never personally step foot into this establishment again and will tell everyone I know to avoid dealing with them as well. It's a shame because it is a nice store, but this type of service is unacceptable. I would warn anyone reading this to never entrust these people with any of your personal or sentimental valuables. Zero accountability and broken trust with the first encounter for a potential long term customer...I'll take my business elsewhere.
