Both gentlemen who helped me were very welcoming, knowledgeable, and professional. They were young, but very mature. It's always nice not to have to deal with douchebags. My parts came in after a week and my phone was fixed. Great communication. The only reason why I don't give them 5 stars is because the place is dirty. Aside from not having to drive all the way down to Cerritos, this was the best service I've gotten for almost anything technical or otherwise in ages. Ryan is absolutely king of the tech geek s. Went in for what I thought was a dead battery on my mobile. I waited patiently. Guy tried charging it with a lightening cable and it wouldn't charge. He couldn't even read the serial number. He told me it was a fried motherboard about $800 dollars to fix so my iPhone 14 was not worth it. Something didn't feel right as I was rushed with two people behind me. Went directly to the Apple Store and they placed the phone on a magnetic charger and it came to life 30 seconds later. Turns out the pins where you charge was damaged. This "kangaroo" tech couldn't even figure that part out or think of it. I bought a $40 charger - problem solved. Not the motherboard. So would I recommend this place? HELL-to-the NO. Do better. Makes you wonder how many people they've misdiagnosed and charged them hundreds. Take it to somebody who knows. But this place isn't it. read more

I have an iPhone 17 that I dropped from top of the stairs and my phone needed repairs to the back glass. I found mobile kangaroo right near my house through Apple's authorized providers and I was pleasantly surprised by how awesome this company is. All the guys that work, there are super kind and knowledgeable. I was given excellent customer service. they were able to order the part for me. They called me three days later to let me know the part had come in and brought my phone in the next morning. I then picked my perfectly restored phone up just a couple hours later. all in all this was a really impressive experience and I would recommend this business to anyone in the area who needs service to their Apple products. I did a walk in to change my battery. Surprisingly they were able to take me in and provide same day service! Chris greeted me and signed me in. He was able to provide me great information about my battery change and answered all my questions. I even brought up my concern with the charge port being a bit funky at times and he was also able to address that. Super great and knowledgeable service. She didn't greet me and seemed annoyed and bothered that I was there, even rolling her eyes, which felt unprofessional especially her representing an Apple store. I bought a brand-new iPad from them about 2 months ago, and it started having display issues. I gave it to them for repair, and they fixed the display within a week. However, during the repair they put a dent on my iPad, which was not there before. When I took it back and showed them the damage, they admitted it was their fault and were very sweet at first. They promised that within one week I would receive a new iPad. Now the real problem started. When I called later to check the status, the staff was extremely rude, didn't even bother checking my case, and just kept repeating themselves. Instead of honoring their promise, they suddenly changed the timeline and said it will now take 3-4 weeks. I'm updating my review after a very positive resolution. The California Regional Manager personally reached out, took full ownership of the situation, and handled everything in a professional and respectful manner. They clearly communicated the next steps and arranged a brand-new replacement iPad within 3-4 business days, which I truly appreciate. The way regional management stepped in and resolved the issue shows strong accountability and genuine care for customers. Although the initial experience had issues, the final outcome and support from management completely changed my impression. Thank you for making things right. read more

This spot is a little hidden gem. Such a great place to take your Apple products for repair and avoid the god-awful mall. It's quiet, clean, and the staff is amazing. Kevin is an angel and went above and beyond and actually helped me set up my Apple Watch and walked me through it despite the fact that he was busy with jobs, up against his lunch break, and didn't realize that that's what I was coming in for. Technology usually hates me and wishes I were dead, so having somebody as knowledgeable as Kevin explain things to me in terms I could understand was invaluable. Five stars. Be sure to check pricing of your repair for an Apple Store repair before authorizing work at Kangaroo. The initial quote for a battery replacement for my iPad Pro was TWICE the Apple online quote. When questioned, I was then offered roughly the same price as Apple but with an additional "service fee." I assumed an authorized service provider would have the same pricing. read more
