YELP SITE ISNT LETTING ME UPLOAD PHOTOS. Advertised was a ceramic coat. Price agreed upon for two vehicles. Arrangements set after meeting for a cash deposit. If you read this yelp you'll think you're getting a complete detail and then whatever else you discuss. I dropped my vehicle off early morning and the plan was discussed. Low and behold my car was cut, buffed, clay barred outside in direct sunlight and after being soft water rinsed. Coating and waxed were heavily applied. A break was needed and I was contacted to discuss a location change to finish the job. The incomplete sentences I received didn't help the communication. We agree on him restarting at 3pm. I meet at his home to move my car as it's a bit more fitting and to drop off the second car anyways. We drive back to my place cause we somehow missed a window of availability for his nearby friend. The friend apparently had more product Jerome wanted to use. Miscommunication on Jerome's part was thinking I was providing a bottle of ceramic coat as well when I told him I didn't want to pay extra for my wheels to be coated as I stated I had already did them. I had given Jerome a product in partial barter/trade as well. A brand new ceramic coat for glass, he insisted on trying it on paint for some reason. Not on any of my vehicles anyway. I digress and return to the order of the day. Mind you I dropped off at 7am and we're still in business at 3pm. After coming to my house he continues to cut and buff and "fast pass" sections of the car. We're hanging out and I feed and supply hydration via soda and water. Ordered three tacos for the man with my dinner as well. Air conditioned breaks in my home. Lots of talk over the hours of how many steps have been taken, polishing, etc. and I'm asked how I think it's looking. Meanwhile I'm helping him and also asking him for clarification cause I see wax swirls here and there, product flung to what I thought was a finished panel, entirely missed panels, and so on. So I'm asked to inspect and I start seeing micro swirls everywhere on a car that had none beforehand. More we discuss I find out about the lack of a pressure washer used which is detailer/prep 101. I try my patience and let things go but my social battery is dying as we're nearing a 10+ hour day. The man insists multiple times on wanting to go to 7-11 and I thought I had satisfied that when I gave soda but I didn't. Before he leaves he asks "do you mind?" While holding a spray bottle. We already discussed I don't want tire shine and he said it's just dressing cleaner. He douses all four tires and leaves. I check out the bottle and it is indeed tire shine which states should have the excess scrubbed off. He leaves and nearly drives straight into an electric box and off the curb, forgetting that he entered my driveway at an angle and parked on the RV parking side. I had to yell and get his attention, meanwhile he drives over his vape and didn't notice. That leads to my suspicion on what he may have needed to leave for and his energetic candor. Upon returning I don't see a drink in his hands or in his car. He returns to cutting and buffing and compound passing in random spots of the car. Careless motions on the hatch and hitting my rear wiper and wing. I ask him what's up with the tires and he jokes about just leaving them. I ask if he's gonna need the water again cause I was gonna shut it off, it was more of a suggestion saying this needs another wash with the way he's left it. Compound in crevices and door jambs a mess. He says no, and I'm dumbfounded. He was gonna leave my wheels absolutely filthy just cause I didn't wanna pay an additional $100 for a coating for them? Finally we reach a point where I'm sharing my thoughts on the day and pointing out that too much is going on and no progress is made. The project had to come to an end cause we had reached the 13th hour, literally. I'm being blamed for my expectations being too high meanwhile Jerome is saying he wish he'd gotten more feedback from people. So I give my honest feedback of saying I could've just washed the car for less, in less time, and would've had better results. Also hes losing money in this by spreading out such a long unnecessarily. I watched him use old filthy towels and even wiping his sweat with them. When we reached the end we were discussing leaving some equipment and coming back the next day to do things. I started to but then asked again for clarification on whether or not he did a standard step for this service. Cars need to have previous materials removed via decontamination and/or iron removing sprays. He said "no, If you wanted me to remove what you had on that there would cost extra and I'm just adding to what you have on there. You've got a think about what $250 gets you." Long story short since I'm out of characters. You get what you pay for and 0/10 recommend Jerome, for anything. Worst detail of my life so far. Keep in mind, I'm out of characters read more
