My sister saw this food truck parked right on the side of W. Palmetto Road. She decided to stop, check it out, and came home with goodies for us all to try. After that day we all have become fans. They are there, religiously, Thursdays - Saturdays, from 11am - 6pm, and Sundays, from 11am - 5pm. By now, it's really hard to miss them, as you will always see at least 1 - 2 cars at a time parked near the truck, ordering some of their delicious food. The couple that owns the truck, are the same ones cooking and serving the food. They are always friendly, speak both Spanish and English, and try their best to get your orders out quick but still making them fresh to order. The usual Sandwich Cubano is obviously on the menu, my favorite is the media noche Cubano (made with sweet bread). They also have a breakfast sandwich, pork sandwich, Philly cheese steak, and complete meals. Sandwiches are big, and reasonably priced. Sides of tostones or plantains are available, as well as empanadas and some pastries. My other favorite thing from them is their fruit shakes. They have banana, papaya/ mamey, mango, strawberry, guanabana, and more. Of course Cuban coffee is on the manu, as well as natural juices, jarritos, water and sodas. You can even call ahead to place an order and "drive by" to pick it up. They have 2 phone numbers, one for English and on for Spanish, making it easy for everyone. Cash or credit is accepted It's great to have them around. This has been our lunch several times, when on a rush, or just when we crave some Latin food, like the one we grew up with. As I said, this has become a favorite of ours, here I am sharing it with you all, hoping you like them as much as we do.

I finally got to try this out! I may have just returned from Cuba not long ago, but I'm still wanting Cuban food. I wanted a pork sandwich, but they were out of pork, meaning a Cuban sandwich and Media Noche would've been out of question as well. It was recommended to me that I try the steak sandwich instead, so I said sure. My mom got a chicken meal with rice, beans, and tostones, a really large portion. I really wasn't impressed with my sandwich. First of all, there were just barely any potato sticks on it, so they were kind of pointless. The steak itself, palomilla, I was expecting to be thin, but it was SO thin I really didn't taste much. It was rather bland. Still, if you're in West Boca, it's a good option on Wednesday-Sunday and better when they have their full menu I guess.

I've driven by this food truck many times while driving down Palmetto. Finally, I remembered this place while figuring out lunch plans one day. I was so surprised to see how many positive reviews there were, and was so stoked to try it. They have a small but fulfilling menu with lunch and dinner items, smoothies, and pastries. My husband and I ordered a cuban sandwich each, and split fries, plantains, and two croquettas. The chicken croquettas were delicious! Not too salty, and the inside mixture was a perfect consistently. The cuban sandwiches are huge! I highly recommend splitting it, especially if you plan on getting other items. Honestly, it was one of the best cuban sandwiches I've ever had. Pork was cooked well, the cheese was melty and oozing off the bread. If anything it could use slightly less salt but overall absolutely delicious. The plantains were made well. The fries were definitely generic frozen fries, but still does the trick if you're wanting fries. Overall, wonderful experience. So happy to have such a great place close-by. Will be back.

    Yum !!!

DELICIOUS! The truck was a little difficult to find at first but it was on palmetto slightly west of 441. Food was made in under 10 min! Cuban sandwich was huge and so good! I also got a beef empanada which was very good.

Made on the right bread, smashed down when placed on the grill, lettuce tomato and tasty sauce dripping out of the sandwich. It was a huge sandwich, great value and very tasty. Ordered a side of tostones which were coked to perfection. Served with garlicky sauce to dip the tostones. Again, perfect. Side of potato salad which came with the sandwich was tasteless. And I mean tasteless. Potatoes and mayonnaise. As to the environment of the restaurant, it's a drab, dark and unbelievably warm. Their AC must be changed/upgraded and the entire interior needs to be redesigned. It's the kind of place where you would not want to sit at a table. The waitress at the counter who took the order spoke no English but understood my order and questions. She was sweet and pleasant. Would I return? Yes. Would I sit down and eat there. Absolutely not. And there's a huge colorful rooster outside. I posted a picture. I'm not sure what the association is between a rooster and Cuban food. It's funny looking oh I forgot. They have some tables outside which is almost in the parking lot and right next to their large garbage unit. . Even if it wasn't 100 degrees and humid now i wouldn't sit and eat there.

I was in Boca and needed a pan cubano and called them on the telephone first as there was no Latin supermarket nearby and the ones sold at other supermarkets are not fresh authentic like I wanted. Whoever answered the telephone spoke zero English and got frustrated and hung up on me. I telephoned back and asked for someone who spoke English. Hello, this was Boca Raton not Hialeah where you expect that. When I did a search for "Cuban bakery" their name came up. The woman who came to the phone said yes, they had pastries. Ok great they have pastelitos but I needed a pan cubano. I arrive at this place to see not a bakery, no pastelito, no pan cubano, no croquetta, nothing. It's a sandwich joint apparently. At first, they thought I was ordering a tostada, and I told them no, a pan cubano. Ok, we can do that so they threw two pieces of bread in a plastic bag and charged me over $3.00 for it, way more than I am used to paying in Miami but ok it's convenient. I get home and open the bag ready to make my pan con bistec and find one of the pieces is moldy. Gross! I glanced at the menu while waiting and found that overpriced as well. I didn't bother to complain over a cheap piece of bread but would never go back. By the way, it was only me and one other person in there eating at the counter.

I didn't love it, but the garlic mayo dipping sauce was good. The Ropa Vieja was very good, and the portion was quite generous. The shredded beef was slow simmered in a rich tomato sauce. I would order this again. The Carne Con Papas was also good. It's sorta like Ropa Vieja (same sauce), but the beef is served in chunks instead of shredded, and the potatoes were a nice addition. Just be aware it contains green olives, so keep that in mind if you're salt sensitive. My favorite part of my meal were the well done plantains, which were perfectly caramelized and sweet. The flan was absolutely delicious and the perfect way to end the meal. The prices may be a bit higher than some other places, but the authentic Cuban flavors and generous portions make it money well spent. I can't wait to come back and try more of the menu.

Maybe stiff competition with the Dunkin' coffee next door but I will take mom & pop cuban coffee over commercial places anyday. The inside was large with music playing. Some of the specials were posted on the windows that included 2 for 1 shreaded pork platter on mondays, pork sandwiches 2 for 1 tuesdays and corona $3 everyday all day. The chrome espresso machine was calling my name. The Bustello coffee was strong as usual with a roasty aroma. Maybe a business logo on the styrofoam cup would add some cheap advertisement. The ADA compliant clean bathroom was modern rustic and peach colored walls popped against the porcelain wood-like floors. The room offered a sense of warmth and relaxation. There was a poster hanging on the wall with a QR scan to entice customers to join Cuban Reward to get 3 Points for every $1 spent in the restaurant.
