Based on Yelp reviews.. and his location, I reached out to Mark (through Yelp) to sort out my Wifi/Network/Nest issues. He responded within the hour that he would call me the next morning. He followed up the next morning and we made an appointment for 8pm that evening (like most people, my schedule is hectic and I truly appreciate his ability to work with my schedule. Mark is AWESOME! He fixed a computer at my place of work but I will definitely be using him if I ever have problems with my personal computer. I called a computer place with good reviews in Studio City that services Macs and asked if they recommended anyone for PC repair because ours was not working properly. Immediately they recommended Mark. I gave Mark a call and he was able to come that same day to see what was going on with our PC. He even worked around my day and rescheduled to come earlier when I called him back to say I had a conflict with our original time. He came in, diagnosed the problem, and scheduled to come in the next morning to fix it since it would take a few hours. The next morning he arrived and immediately got to work. Since he charges by the hour, he worked efficiently and did not waste time. It took the amount of time he had predicted the day before and now our computer is working wonderfully. He even went beyond his call of duty and helped us install an antivirus program since the poor computer performance was potentially due to viruses. He also recommended a new cable so that the computer screen could work to its potential. The cable switch alone made a huge difference in the quality of the screen image. Very knowledgeable and the best customer service I've ever had from a repair vendor - of any sort! I was 2 days away from a deadline on a major project and my laptop would no longer connect to WiFi. I'd been having problems all day and realized by 6 pm that I wasn't going to be able to remedy myself. I called Mark at MCS and within a 1/2 hour, my laptop was picked up and within another 1 1/2 hours, the problem was diagnosed (Windows got corrupted), restore performed, and laptop was back in my hands! I have a home office and Monday morning my working computer crushes:( I tried to reach 10 different computer technicians with highest stars from the Yelp, and guess what - no one answered the phone! Mark took my call. He was very time efficient and sounded very professional over the phone. Without losing a second, I took my PC to his office. It took him approx. a half hour to diagnose the problem. In 2 hours I had my computer fixed and running great! He took his time to explain what was the issue and what to do in future to raise the quality of the PC. So disappointed. I wanted to add a hard drive to my desk top. He showed up and didn't have the correct screws for installation, which was the first red flag. Once it was finally installed the computer didn't work. He worked on it for about an hour more until I asked him to leave in frustration. Mark did a beyond-amazing job diagnosing an incredibly annoying PC problem I was having (I recently purchased a custom-built unit, and was unable to get the signal to appear from the PC to my monitor) - within less than 10 min of onsite inspection, he was able to confidently figure out that the issue lay with my graphics card, and before he'd been at my apartment for 15 minutes, he'd gotten the signal to appear and I was able to use my new PC!
