But the clerk, a young man was super nice and pointed us in the direction of a motel for the night. He even looked up the number for us. It was nice to see a friendly face in a town that was apparently dead at that time of night. Only the snow plow people were around and they were sporadic. Even the fire station looked like everyone was tucked in for the night.

Decent sized smoke shop that sells tobacco, cases of cigarettes, and snacks…read more Everything is significantly cheaper here than any place off of the rez. It's worth the drive here if you are within half an hour and need smokes. The place is clean, the lady at the register was super nice and easy to have a conversation with. Though they do have people practically following you through the store probably to make sure you aren't stealing anything, that did make me feel a little uncomfortable. There are no public bathrooms (though there are porta potties outside).
