Open in the wee hours, KF always likes to remind me that if I had kept driving a little bit, I'd have spent 3 cents less, or 5 cents less per gallon. And I somehow tell myself that even though I only put 5 gallons in my tank, that 25 cents somehow would have made all the difference, changed my life, and I'd now be hosting the Jay Leno show. Except that I don't know if it could be called that if I was hosting it. And I think he retired. But never mind. Even though it's not a multi-national chain like 7 Eleven, the convenience store stuff inside is still pricey, but the service is friendly (maybe Lancaster is just a friendly f***ing place, or something), and a 3 is about right.

Why can't everyone have those? They do everywhere else in the country! It's at a difficult intersection but there is plenty of space and lots of pumps and it's quite convenient. There is nothing remarkable about this spot at all except that it's close to Brennans (awful food), Brewpub (good wings), and a guy named Bert that sleeps on the bench by the bus stop whenever he can't remember his way home.
