In fact, this one had no line at all during our fill-up. It has 4 islands, with the 3 leftmost having 3 pumps (thus requiring parallel parking if the middle one is the only one open) while the far right only has 2. (22 nozzles in all). Price per gallon was $3.799 for 87, but 93 octane was $5.099 (a 33% markup)...super glad that our car was fine with 87. It's close enough to the Costco warehouse to notice how empty the parking lot felt on a Monday afternoon. This time, though, my wife didn't want to browse (probably because we would have to take it home by plane).

I came in and saw the "free vacuums" and wanted to quickly vacuum out my car before getting gas. I actually had zero intention of getting a car wash but after pulling up and spending about 20-30 min detailing my car with all the extras (all purpose cleaner and towels, scent, air gun, glass cleaner) and a vacuum that was the strongest suction I have ever seen, I felt guilty just using the freebies and decided to get a wash. Car wash is affordable and they have a monthly plan that also allows you to get your to 30 cents off / gallon of gas. The $10 monthly car wash pays for itself in gas if you fill up weekly. On top of all that, the car wash attendant came out when he saw me pull my mats out and offered to wash them for me unprompted. He even gave me a free towel. On top of that there is a very clean Dunkin inside the gas station and a "taco pros" that far exceeded my expectations for a gas station taco spot. Needless to say, I would drive the 15 min from my house weekly to stop here. Overall great experience.

For the most part, it provides everything you need to keep your car clean inside and out. Unfortunately, my experience went downhill. The license plate reader failed on nearly every visit, causing repeated delays at the entrance. A helpful employee once provided me with a windshield sticker to fix the issue, but I explained I don't put stickers on my windshield for safety and aesthetic reasons. That understanding allowed me to keep coming back and even recommend the business to others. The problem began when a newer employee saw me use the sticker, printed and kept my receipt, and gave me the impression I was being checked up on as if I had done something wrong. When I asked why, I was told in so many words that my setup wasn't acceptable and that they would "verify" things. Instead of resolving my concern, it escalated into an uncomfortable argument. Calling to speak with a supervisor didn't help either. I was connected with another employee who, when asked if they were actually the supervisor, replied with "more or less." Overall, what had been a business I promoted and enjoyed has turned into one I can no longer recommend. Miscommunication, unprofessional handling, and the lack of respect for loyal customers overshadow the positives.

This seems like a fraudulent thing to do to keep increasing the gallons filled, as well as the total cost after the gas has stopped pumping. At first I had to double check to make sure that the gas had actually stopped pumping because when I looked at the display, I thought that the gas was still pumping. But when I took the gas nozzle out of the tank, there was nothing flowing from it. It had completely stopped yet the display kept increasing the number of gallons, and the total cost of the gas. Because I didn't want to pay for gas that I wasn't getting, I immediately shoved the nozzle back into the pump to shut it off and make it stop. Only after I put the nozzle back into the pump did the display stop increasing the number of gallons and the total cost of the gas. I went inside the station to tell the employee about the problem with pump number two. He didn't seem to care at all and said that I would have to talk to a manager who was not there today, but would be there tomorrow. I asked him if he would do anything to check the pump or shut off pump number two until a manager has a chance to inspect it. He said no he wouldn't do anything. I asked him if he would tell the manager about the problem that I reported on pump number two. He said that he would not. He took absolutely no responsibility or accountability for the problem that I reported to him. This seems like a pretty big problem for the gas station. They are charging for gas that they are not actually dispensing. If you happen to visit this gas station, I would be curious if you use pump number two or any other pump and see if the gallons dispensed and the total cost keeps increasing even after the pump automatically shuts off. I wouldn't want others to be cheated like I was.

Their service is great and as stated by others their diagnoses are spot on. I have never paid for unnecessary service. In fact, I took my 1991 Mustang in because the rear tires were going low about 3 days after I would refill them with air. Bob, the owner was able to diagnose that the problem was with the seal between the tires and the rims. He simply separated them, cleaned up the rims and reassembled them. No more leaks! Another example is when I took my car to them for a loud exhaust. I had stopped at 2 big chain muffler shops for their free diagnosis as one had replaced the right side muffler, the other the left when I live away from the Lake Forest area. Both told me I needed a new exhaust manifold, a high $$$ repair. Jim, the service supervisor, and his staff were able to diagnose the real problem. It was a rusted out narrow pipe that returned exhaust gas back into the fuel injection system. Also, as stated before, their gas prices are a few cents more per gallon, but they reward loyal customers with their free car wash punch card. Ten fill-ups and you get a free wash. And it's not the basic was either. It's one of their full service washes.
