No need to make 2 trips to the Window. The Gentleman ALWAYS has a smile on his face, and is very kind to me, which you don't see much in this day and age. Connor, from Dunkin Donuts, managed to get my car started so I could get it across the street to Tiverton Sun. When I had called Tiverton Sun and told them my predicament, the mechanic, Rob, even drove to the Dunkin Donuts to check on the car, but I had already brought it across. He took the car right away, while still trying to help other customers. He diagnosed the problem right away, and he was able to get me the car the next day. He also noticed that the car had trouble with, not just one, but 2 sensors. The price for fixing the car was so reasonable, too. I cannot thank all the gentlemen at Tiverton Sun. Please take your car there. They did tell me they do not do every repair job, but they are up front and honest, and they will tell you if they can fix your car. Again, highly recommended!

I called George at Sunco and he told me to just come in, no appointment needed and that they opened at 8. When I arrived ten to 8, there were already 4 people waiting in line ahead of me for service. George is a one man act, pumping gas, greeting people driving by who shout his name, and organizing people waiting in line for car service. It's a bit disorganized, but regardless he moves people through pretty quickly. It's been awhile since I've been to a full service gas station, and as a millennial, I'm more accustom to pumping my own gas and being self-sufficient. That said, I can see the people who really benefited from someone to pump for them, like seniors, moms with cars full of kids, and people with physical handicaps. Overall, prices are pretty good, service is personal, and George seems like a person everyone knows by name in this area of Tiverton. Fast emissions test first thing on a Saturday worked well for me, but other than that, I'd leave the full service gas option to others.

I have to tell you I have received the worst experience of my life at this Firestone location…read more I made a yesterday to bring my car in at 2pm for an oil change and breaks. I called 3 hours later and they hadn't started the car yet because he had to let an employee go to lunch. They called an hour later he was just draining the oil and had checked the brakes. It needs front and rear breaks that they couldn't get till the next morning. I asked when it would be ready and I was told 10am or 11am. I questioned why so late. You open at 7am. I called today at 10:45 and was old the mechanic was working on the brakes because the parts just came in. Three hours later I call and I am told the parts just came in and the mechanic is working on my car. I ask to speak to the manager and they said he won't be back for 40 minutes. I questioned 40 minutes and was told he just went to lunch. Yesterday I was told my car wasn't started because the mechanic had to go to lunch.

Even with an appointment, I waited more than three hours for the work to be completed. Had the job been done correctly, I would have accepted the long wait. Unfortunately, I don't believe the balancing or the alignment was done properly. Since leaving the shop, the vehicle doesn't feel right, and I've lost confidence in the quality of the work. As a result, I'll be paying a reputable shop to inspect and correct what was done. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this location.
