After calling Saffron and speaking with (I believe) the owner/manager we were able to put some delicious pastries and cookies together. They even were so kind as to write a small note for us. While the store doesn't usually offer delivery - the owner was so moved by our situation - that he was open to hand-deliver the package AFTER closing. You could barely taste any p.butter flavor in those cookies - maybe they aren't using a high quality p.butter??. I think they all have a bit too much flour added to them - I just read on the p.butter that they use both bread flour and cake flour which would explain it and they all need a touch of salt.
