I usually go for the sale items, but their private label items (Signature brand) usually are very good priced, so even if they are not on sale, they are worth checking out. Def 1 of the nicer grocery stores around. A little pricey but a lot of options and pretty clean as well. Usually don't have long waits in the lines to cash out. Just hate the whole paper bag nonsense. The bag quality is low and the baggers are clueless on how to properly bag items. You'll get one bag that feels like 40lbs ready to rip then another bad they stick a bag of chips and a candy bar in it. So keep an eye if you can as they bag the groceries because sometimes you legit have to tell them how to do their job properly. Great staff clean store but limited quantity on basically everything but they are doing there best thank you

This location recently obtained a liquor license and added two aisles of beer and wine, which means I no longer have to make two stops when planning a menu for dinner. Very convenient. The selection is not out-of-this-world, but there are the essentials and most of the beer is available chilled. They have eliminated self checkout to accommodate alcohol sales, but the express line usually has two people at all times so things move quickly. Also the "wild harvest" section, which had organic and other specialty items, has been integrated into the rest of the store. Annoying at first, but I guess putting organic canned tomatoes in the same aisle as Hunt's makes sense. read more

Best supermarket im Dartmouth. The produce selection is amazing. All the aisles are neat and well organized. The bakery does amazing work on cakes. Every staff member is very pleasant. The wine and beer section takes up 2 whole aisles. The prices on the wine is actually cheaper than some liquor stores. Definitely will be doing my grocery shopping here. read more

This Shaws is bigger and cleaner than the Fall River location, and they have self checkout. But they are not very coupon-friendly. I tend to use coupons to save money. When ringing up the items, nearly every coupon required associate assistance. I'll stick to Stop and Shop. read more

Used the self check, and the woman that was watching it was exceptionally rude. She stared at me like I was a criminal, and I realize one of her responsibilities is to prevent theft, but I think you can accomplish that without making your customers uncomfortable. I asked her a question when the item I scanned didn't weigh properly and she didn't respond, only walked around me to move the item. When I asked for clarification so it didn't continue to happen she snapped at me. She stood over me like a Drill Sargent waiting to take me to solitary. I finally asked her to leave me alone so she ducked behind the register to bad-mouth me to her male co-worker who left quickly, seemingly to avoid dealing with her. In addition, we tried the produce twice. The first time we returned the item - i forget what it was. The second it was oranges that were very bitter, my husband decided to eat them but we now avoid the produce. We do check certain sale items from time to time, cranberry juice, polar, and baking supplies around Christmas, but that's about it. And thankfully my husband is very sweet about going, so I don't have to deal with the Drill Sarget. read more
