There was an impressive array of Portuguese sausages and New England-focused seafood like scup and steamers. I couldn't partake in these cooking-focused offerings but I did pick up Portuguese chocolates and Little Rhody and Granny Squibb's iced teas. The cheese ends appeared to be a great deal at $1.73 but realistically I wasn't up for eating 0.87 of a pound of cheese at the hotel. I came here by bus and offer no opinion about the parking lot but regret the minutes of my life reading about terrible drivers who downgraded the store primarily because of other bad drivers. It's great to see actual friendly cashiers instead of self-checkout. All or nearly all of the aisles were in use.

Well, I have had food from there through other people's cookouts, etc. but had never gone in there and purchased anything myself. So I finally go there so I could buy a couple of sandwiches. The place was pretty much what I expected. It was simple and sort of reminded me that it was stuck in the 60's or 70's, which is fine with me. I don't judge, plus I love those times. Anyway, we got 2 sandwiches, one a honey turkey & honey ham with just cheese and mayo, and the other being a honey turkey with cheese, veggies & mayo. Both on Portuguese pops. For something so simple and not fancy they were DELICIOUS! And only $2.99 each! Loved it! I will be back very soon for more.

I asked a relative to pick up a bottle of white balsamic vinegar last night and they came home with the wrong one. I set it aside and went back less than a day later and they refused to exchange the items. I was told "Once the item leaves the store we can't exchange it". Wow. Really? Not even an apology for an ass backwards policy? Maybe replace the "can't" with "won't" because you certainly were capable of replacing it but chose not to do so. I've been a sole proprietor of businesses for 35 years and would bend over backwards to keep a customer happy. Not Fieldstone. Picture included of the untouched bottle. I'm not sure what their customer acquisition cost is, but I can tell you that they lost a repeat customer for $11.99. Petty and shortsighted. Stay far, far away.
