Seriously!! The "show" reminded me of a 7th grade history/science lesson as a 1970s / 1980s teacher might have done it. "Bored to tears" comes to mind describing this experience. By the end, all I could think was "Well, those are three hours of my life that I can never have back." EXTREMELY disappointed with every aspect of this experience. NEVER again!!

Even though this was one of the busiest weeks of the year, we only had to wait a little for other off-road vehicles here and there. It was actually fun watching other rigs climb obstacles, so it never really felt like we were waiting. Robbie is the older brother, super funny, and my kids loved listening to his stories. Even my wife, who normally gets nervous with off-roading, felt very safe with him on Hell's Revenge. It is also absolutely worth paying extra for the Escalator. Not many people can make it up that hill, and Robbie made it look easy. These guys are the OGs of Moab. I have a semi off-road vehicle myself, and I know I would not be able to do 90% of what Robbie did today. He is an extremely skilled driver, and their jeep was built to handle just about anything. A lot of times it felt like we were about to fall off or crash, but that just shows how skilled and experienced Robbie is. Highly recommend. Our family really enjoyed our time with Alex on a recent stargazing tour. We could tell he was…read morereally passionate about the cosmo and the history of the land and people of this region. He is full of information and a great storyteller. Our group ranged from 8 years old to people in their 80s with different astronomy backgrounds and Alex was able to keep it engaging and entertaining for everyone. My 8 year old is now planning his science fair project from something that he learned from Alex! It's important to be flexible as weather doesn't always cooperate. We thought we had the perfect plan since it was new moon but it turned out to be cloudy and windy on most of the nights we were in Moab. Alex tried his best to reschedule us for the better forecasted days and he chose a spot that was shielded from the winds. There were still some clouds on the night we went but he shuffled his plans aroundto show us things that were not covered. We saw star clusters, nebulas, and planets on his telescope but the highlight was seeing Jupiter and its moons high resolution. He was patient and gave everyone time to adjust their eyes on the telescope to made sure everyone saw each object. He encouraged questions and comments so it was engaging. I would definitely do this again next time if I had even more time in Southern Utah.

It helped also that we were out in the desert and could walk away from the group when things got overwhelming. Our guide did a wonderful job of incorporating her and accommodating her. Our guide had an extensive knowledge of the night sky: stars, astronomy and astrophysics. He has a true love for what he does and that showed in his presentation. Everyone got as much time as they wanted looking through the telescope. It was set up with an auto tracker and he provided a stool that allowed everyone to look through it comfortably. For my daughter, the highlight was also the finale - a certain large planet that she loves. Highly recommended.
