    Corona Arch from the helicopter.

My friend and I were visiting Moab for a few days and decided to book a tour with Pinnacle. The tour we choose was called "Scenic Helicopter Tour: Edge of Canyonlands Extended (60 minutes)" Two days before our trip, we received a call from the office. Pinnacle wanted to see if we could reschedule due to an upcoming high winds forecast. Pinnacle was super flexible working us into the schedule a day earlier than we had originally planned. We ended up being the last tour of the day on a Sunday evening just before sunset. There was plenty of parking at the heliport. We checked-in to the office where we were weighed on a scale for the weight and balance of the helicopter. You are able to take snacks and a bottle of water to the helicopter if needed. After some short conversation and restroom break, we were introduced to our pilot Jake. Jake walked us out to the helicopter where we he gave us a short safety briefing and got us setup with headsets. You are able to ask questions and chat with your pilot over the headsets. The helicopters are well maintained and comfortable. I appreciated the air conditioning. We soon found ourselves in the air with Jake pointing out the features around us as we flew over the surrounding landscape. Although some airspace is restricted, such as the national parks, we were able to see a lot of the local highlights including some arches. Jake was friendly and patient as he answered our questions throughout the flight. I thought the 60 minute flight was about right. If you end up going for a shorter flight, I am sure you'll still see plenty. After we landed back at the heliport, Jake offered to take a ton of photos of us with the helicopter in the background. It was a great overview of the Moab area. I recommend taking our lead and doing the helicopter tour as an introduction to your visit.

What an amazing time - spend the extra money and stay up as long as you can. This husband and wife team makes visitors completely at home, and inspires confidence. I had never been in a copter before and I don't like heights, but Ben the pilot was engaging and skilled, as well as full of information on the area you won't get from travel brochures. We flew July 6th, and if they had not been taking a few days off we may well have come back the next day to do it again. I'll say it again - do NOT try to save money on a once in a lifetime experience; book them for as long as you can.

My oh my ... what a great experience. SO MUCH BETTER than the Grand Canyon flights. If you are debating between the two, choose this one. The entire team are awesome people and the 45 minute Pinnacle Tour was incredible. Jessie was a great and entertaining pilot. This will rank as one of my best vacation memories ... ever!

Months later I still find myself grinning when I think about my fantastic helicopter flight over Utah. The pilot, Ben, strikes the perfect balance between professional and engaging, putting this nervous flyer entirely at ease. I've done numerous fixed-wing flights over the same terrain and I was blown away over how much better if a perspective you can get from a helicopter. The 4-seater copter is cute, comfortable, and has a ton of glass - the pictures I was able to take came out amazing. Love it!

Dacia was patient and helpful during the questions/reservation process. Ben was friendly and knowledgeable. Made my first helicopter ride amazing, and on Christmas eve. My daughter even got a visit from Santa. Thanks again.

Birthday helicopter tour! Perfect views from every seat, and an awesome pilot to make us feel safe!

On a hot (102*) day in Moab, nothing gets much better than touring the canyons and sights in an air conditioned helicopter! This intimate copter is big enough for four - one of which is the awesome, personable and funny pilot Ben. Ben made us feel comfortable and safe right off the bat, and he gave a great informational and fun tour of Spring Canyon, Rainbow Ridge, Determination Point, and much more! Great price for a reliable and effortless adventure! I would recommend this trip to anyone looking for a thrill and an unforgettable experience in Moab. The airport is a quick 15-20 minute drive north of "downtown" Moab and is easy to find. Don't miss out of this view of Moab!!

In Blue John canyon thanks to Pinnacle for dropping us off!

I first reached out to Redtail in April 2022 with various questions about getting a charter from Durango to Moab in October 2022. I was nervous about the idea of booking a charter, in part because I didn't want to get stranded in Durango and miss an important event we had planned in Moab. Amanda was so incredibly helpful in answering all of my questions when I first booked our flight in April and all of my questions over the next six months. Amanda immediately gave me confidence in flying with Redtail and she was helpful in pointing me towards options for rental cars. When the day of our flight came Barbara picked us up in Durango. Barbara was welcoming, friendly, entertaining and most importantly a safe pilot. She even helped us load our luggage in our car which I thought was very kind. While she safely navigated from DRO to CNY she gave us some recommendations for what to see and where to eat in Moab and she pointed out some sights too. We loved that she pointed our Corona Arch because we hiked up to that arch later that afternoon. We really enjoyed our flight with Barbara! In addition to doing charter flights, Redtail Air Adventures specializes in scenic tours over Arches National Park and Canyonlands National Park. Redtail also does river shuttles such as dropping or picking up people who are going to hike, bike or raft somewhere in the wilderness and they need a one-way ride. RedTail Air is a terrific company offering reliable flight services.

As many have mentioned this is a cowboy style dinner that you eat in a banquet hall before the ride. The food was all you can eat eat, and the staff were more than accommodating. However, the food was just average to poor. The meat was dry, and the BBQ sauce was just ridiculously sweet. Basic salad, corn, very dry rolls, canned beans and a dessert that was about two bites of a cobbler with a squirt of whipping cream. We barely touched it. The boat ride was great. We loved being on the water really enjoyed hearing the story about the history of Moab. The lights did bring a unique perspective to the rocks which against the night sky. We were lucky that the sky was completely dark and great night for stars. I would've liked to have learned more about the constellations since this is such a great place to stargaze. Overall I'm glad we did it. It was a fun activity, But for the price and the taste of the food I'm not so sure if it was worth the price. I like how it is a family run business . I would suggest improving your menu such as updating the food. It sounds like the menu has been the same for a while and it's kind of tired. it may help to update your recorded presentation to something a little bit more current , and maybe add some constellation information. I think you have a good thing going, but it could really use a fresh update.
