We didn't get coffee here so maybe that was our mistake. We got chocolate twice and ice cream once. The chocolate pieces we got all tasted slightly stale and one of the items we ordered the staff had to go get it out of a box because the one she picked up she described as "gross". I stopped to purchase coffee early on a Saturday morning. There was one person working. Two people had ordered coffee ahead of me. It took five minutes for them to get their coffee. I ordered a large light roast coffee. By far, hands down, it was the worst cup of coffee I have ever had in my life. I made the mistake of not tasting it before I left. I was driving and was about 10 minutes away before I tasted the coffee. I threw out the entire large 20 ounce cup. read more

3.5 stars, not the best, nor the worst gelato ever. It was sorta middle of the road. Main detractors are that there are swarms of flies in the place. My strawberry gelato had large ice chunks in it and that detracted from the experience. My son's chocolate gelato was pleasing to him, he is easy though (he is 10) read more

The two female employees who were working on the morning of 9/17/12 were extremely rude! The old lady will raise her voice at you if you speak a different language. Maybe she feels this is acceptable behavior towards tourist from other countries. She was very condescending also. The younger one screwed up on my drink. Then was bent out of shape when I had to ask her to remake it with the soy milk that I had paid extra for. When she finely made my drink with soy milk she was NOT HAPPY. She put my drink down hard on the counter, walked away and NEVER said thanks or anything. Horrible service from this place. Take your money/business to the other great coffee shops in town. This place could really learn how to treat customers from some of the other great coffee shops like Wicked Brew and Brewed Awakenings who got our business the rest of the week we were in Moab. read more

It doesn't look like much, but this is a great coffee shop! Granted it shares its space with a clothing store, but it would be nice if there was a little more seating. As far as quality goes, it's top notch! I love the flavor of their roasts. I went with my sweet tooth this time and got the iced coconut cocoa latte. It was incredible and not too sweet at all! I am an iced vanilla latte person and I can honestly say this one of the best lattes I have ever had! They even used coffee ice cubes which made it taste great and last even longer! Fairly disgusting. They make Latte and other drinks with brewed coffee when you should be using espresso. That's what separates Starbucks from these wannabe bistros. Plus they charge full price not their coffee price. Look for someplace else in Moab. read more

This little coffee/gelato shop on the corner of main and 100 N is a true gem. I must go there at least twice every time I come to Moab. Try sitting on one of the patio tables in the clean Moab air and enjoy their wide selection of coffee, latte, espresso, iced drinks, exotic sodas, tea, blended drinks, snacks, and most important the variety of hand-made gelatos. The Espresso Bean Gelato changed my perception of what ice cream can be. Creamy, light coffee icecream that is sweet and extremely smooth loaded with toasted chocolate covered espresso beans that are crunchy and not too bitter. This place serves the best coffee. My friends and I visited this place 2 years ago and still talk about it. Visiting again this weekend, it certainly doesn't disappoint. They serve coffee ice cubes with their iced beverages and their coffee is so creamy, smooth and rich on its own, you don't need much with it. My fave however is the iced mocha. Hmmm, not impressed at all. Although the barista was friendly she took 10 minutes to make two coffees, put waaaaay too much syrup in them and handed us two 12 oz's when we ordered a 12 and a 16. Combine this with the fact that one coffee cup was half empty and almost cold and the other coffee was scorchingly hot (seriously it was still hot 45 minutes later when it was finally drinkable) and I'm afraid we won't be back. read more

I asked the barista what brewed coffee they had available, and she answered 'light, medium, and dark'. That response immediately drove me away from ordering brewed coffee, so I opted for a latte instead. Said latte was in the broad area of 'fine' but not notable in any way. My partner in crime and I had the magical gelato and humongous iced coffees. Both of which were to die for and really hit the spot after a 6 mile hike through devil's garden. This place is an oasis in the Moab/arches area. It has so much to offer from exotic gelato flavors to small batch roasted organic coffee; oh and not to mention the all natural, no additive fruit smoothies. This is some of the best espresso around. I'm from Seattle and so that is saying something. I'm sorry I don't remember his name but the lead barrista and roaster really knows his coffee. He is obsessive when it comes to pulling shots, understanding crema, grinds, pulling shots, etc. He really knows his stuff and given the chance loves to share his wisdom and expertise. This is really a place above the rest. If you love espresso, you will love this. Sorry it was too cold to try the iced espresso cubes. That will have to wait until our return in the Spring. read more

This is one of the first times I have been disappointed by the Yelp ratings. I asked for a no foam latte but was served a cup half full of foam. I kindly asked the barista to add more milk and he proceeded to pour in foam. I repeated my request and he said "oh, you want no foam". I ordered a small cappuccino (the fact that they offered varying sizes of cappuccino and latte should have tipped me off that they might not know what they're doing). The drink was almost half foam - not what I was expecting from a true cappuccino - and the coffee was burnt. I got the impression that they were using drip ground coffee in their espresso machine. Friendly staff. The coffees are delicious (they have different roasts) and one of them home-made (they roast and pack the beans in the store, very cool!). My sister had a scoop of chocolate ice cream, we all decided that it was the most delicious ice cream we've had so far outside of Italy. She also had a mango smoothie that tasted really fresh. The pastry is delicous too: I had a pumpkin chocolate chip bread, home made. There is also a shop connected to the coffee shop, they have clothes and hats (not overpriced) and a lot of stuff that seems hand made. Not a lot of seats inside, but there are places outside (unfortunately next to the road). Would definitely recommend! read more

This is my first yelp review in years. I am a recent transplant from California and was wandering around main street when I came close to this place. I was immediately intrigued when the aromas of roasted coffee flooded my nose and after going in knew I was getting a cup. Idk the two people working there but they were wonderfully helpful and even had some hardware to bring home! That's nice in such a small town. I ordered a chai with two shots of espresso in it and without hesitation the barista whipped me up a cup of delicious goodness.
