They probably aren't always rude, but they were rude enough the only time I went in, that there won't be a second time... I showed up around 2 pm, with over a dozen people sitting at tables outside. A person leaving the shop held the door open for me, and when I walked in a man behind the counter yelled (like literally yelled) at me saying they're closed, then under his breath said "that's why there's a sign on the door". I hadn't seen the sign because the door was open when I showed up. I asked if there was another smoothie restaurant nearby and he repeated himself that they were closed, but louder, and with more attitude. When I left, I saw behind the tinted window that there in fact was a small handwritten sign saying that they were closed. If you want people to know you're closed, locking the door or turning off the "open" sign might be better place to start than yelling at the people who just want to give you their business. This business obviously doesn't need very much business. I walked up with my family of six at 6:45. 15 minutes before they close at 7 PM and as I tried to open the door they locked it and turn the sign off. as we were pulling away at least 15 people tried to enter. So we came in here about 5 o'clock after about 6 Hour drive through the rocky terrain. We were pleasantly surprised that we found a great coffee shop the first place we stopped. The gentleman made a great iced latte for me and a short latte for my girlfriend. We both loved it, no sugar needed. The next day we came in there and another employee was there and made us coffee was not as good as the guy before and we were little let down ,that's okay it was still good ,very friendly and give us some useful information about the food services in the town. Enjoyed some iced coffee complete with frozen coffee cubes (love doing this at home!). Had I not just eaten I would have definitely tried the gelato, it all looked amazing. The only reason I give four stars is because my experience with the baristas wasn't particularly satisfying. I don't know if it was just a weird time but they weren't terribly busy and the lady helping us rushed us along and was really not too friendly. Delicious! Come to get my classic drink, a vanilla latte, and they nailed it! Perfect espresso taste and not too much flavor that it was overwhelming. I really enjoyed that latte. My fiancé on the other hand ordered an iced latte with vanilla and almond and instead of halving each flavor to accommodate 2, they put the full amount of each flavor. This resulted in a sugary mess, but the coffee flavor underneath was still good. Definitely go here if you're in Moab but be specific about what you want! read more

Hubs and I headed to Moab for a getaway. Sadly we stopped at Moab Coffee Roasters when we were LEAVING Moab. Had we found this awesome spot sooner we would have gotten our coffee here e-morning. The coffee here is soooo good. My husband got a black coffee and I got a latte. They have soy and almond options for vegans or lactose intolerant peeps. They have a cute little gift shop / waiting area where people corral while they wait for their coffee. They have some sweets and snacks you can purchase with your coffee. The atmosphere is lovely. Its what you would expect for a drive through destination desert town. The coffee however was AWESOME! The prices are to be expected. Less than Starbucks but not diner prices. The staff is super cool too. OH AND they put coffee ice cubes in your iced coffee. HOW COOL IS THAT?!?!? Love it! Def grab your cup of Joe here in the AM before a hike, a walk, a drive, or breakfast. Beats hotel coffee and much better than some of the other shops we tried while we were in town. read more

The coffee here is really good and one of the mornings I stopped in they were roasting the beans in the machine that's tucked back by the exit. I did purchase one of the mugs and asked them to make my coffee in that, but they weren't going to rinse it out so I had to ask them to do that before they poured the coffee in. The weekends are extremely busy because of the season right now so expect to wait. It was mellow when I went in on Monday because most of the visitors left on Sunday. Delicious coffee and ideal place to sit outside at their cute bistro tables, enjoy your brew and people watch. We had our dog with us so it was nice they had outside seating. It was hot in Moab on Friday evening, and after having a large sandwich for lunch from Village Market (after hiking for 3 hours in the morning), I couldn't stomach any more food beside ice-cream or gelato. I had the Kahlua Tiramisu gelato, and it was amazing! I usually stick with chocolate, but I love tiramisu and kahlua (I make my own tiramisu), and this gelato is almost mind-blowingly good. Coffee and lattes are great but a little disappointed with the service. I came here 2 days in a row and both times the barista made the customers' behind me order first. They need to step up their game and make the coffee in the order that it is received. Prices aren't bad, roughly 3 dollars for a 12 ounce vanilla latte. Great location. It was late in the afternoon and I ordered a decaf cappuccino with oat milk. I left a dollar tip with the cashier and went to the end of the bar to wait. After serving two people who had arrived after me, the barista, a tall slender fellow, put my cappuccino on the counter without a word. I guessed it was mine and rhetorically asked, "Oat milk?" He rudely responded "No, you didn't order that, and besides oat milk doesn't foam so you can't make a 'real' cappuccino with it." There were so many things wrong with his response that I was taken aback. I simply responded that I 'had' ordered a decaf cappuccino with oat milk and I had left a $1 tip when paying for it. He asked the cashier and she said she had no recollection of what I'd ordered. So without saying anything the barista went back to a second cash register, typed in $.99 then told me I'd have to pay him $.99 to remake the coffee with either coconut or soy milk which were more suitable for a cappuccino. I refused to pay and suggested he take my tip and pay for the milk. He said "I can't," then walked away from the register to the espresso machine, pulled two shots of decaf, and plopped them on the counter in front of me with a "There you go." I walked away disgusted with his attitude and threw the shots out. I don't know what rock this guy is living under but I've had oat milk cappuccinos from Los Angeles to Montreal to Rome to Sydney and they were great. His attitude and service were unbearable. read more

Extremely expensive and terrible customer service. I ordered a cold brew without ice and the barista refused - because their policy is that they must give ice in their drinks because of their profit margin. Yes you read that correctly - The nasty barista told me that she could not give me anything less than "light ice" (a cup hall full of ice - regular ice is a cup filled over the top with ice) even when I asked for the amount of coffee I would get without the ice, because they wouldn't make enough money off of me. This could be the only coffee establishment within a thousand miles and I wouldn't set foot again. read more

Over priced for what you get. And the baristra with the blue hair is a complete bitch to customers. Plus she can't make a mocha Frapp to save her life. She was so impatient that she didnt even put the lids on the drinks and just served them with the sticky coffee over flowing. I had to spend several minutes cleaning off the cups and putting the lids on myself. Then, they tasted like expired milk... I had to return it. The only good thing they did was refund my money. The parking is easy which is tough in Moab. It has a locals vibe but caters to those of us passing through as well. They are very covid compliant.
