My Adult Children suggested I go to Mo's for a set of Good Used Tires, So I purchased 4 used Michelins for my 2021 Kia Sportage LX. While there, I decided to get my oil changed as well. Here we are 3 months later and oil change time again. This time I went to Kia of Waukegan as I also required wipers. Imagine my surprise when I was informed by Kia that all of my recently purchased tires were the incorrect size! I immediately went back to Mo's and I was shocked by the answer! I was informed that Mo's have a 15- day guarantee on all sales! It doesn't matter that I didn't receive what I actually paid for! Tires for my vehicle - Not incorrect tires for my vehicle!! They refused to assist me at all. Told me I could purchase more tires at a discount!! I feel that they personally took advantage of a 66-year- year old woman!! No apologies, not one solution was suggested as to how they were going to correct their error! I am going to file a police report soon for "Theft of Services"!! I dropped in today after calling and being told that no appointments are needed. I knew that I specifically had one tire with a leak of some sort, but just didn't have the time to look at it myself since I just moved here. Got seen and helped pretty quick by Israel. I requested to see whatever he found and a few minutes later he dropped a nice chunk of metal in my hand and showed me the puncture. He then went ahead and patched it and was going to put it back on when he realized it was still leaking. He even brought me over to show me the air still coming out with the water test. He then patched it again and again showed me the test results, now without any bubbles! Then he got my tire back on and got me rolling. Very good experience with him and the shop overall and will definitely be back if I have any more tire issues. Definitely recommend Mo's for anyone with tire troubles. read more

They tell you one price on the phone then try charging you more when you arrive. All the employees there look like they don't know what they're doing. 99% of them can't even speak clear english so it's hard to understand them. When you ask to speak to the boss they come back with no answer saying he's busy but when you see him he's laughing and with people instead of running his busines. bad place don't waste you're time. read more

During this last storm we had, I somehow got huge nails into two of my tires... apparently I was not te only one that had something happen. These guys were blue to help me out and everyone there that was having tire issues. Definitely recommend for their speediness, but not so much on their pricing. I went to Mo's shop to get my brakes and other work. I left and about ten minutes later my tire was off the rim I pulled over. I called the shop and the guy came and took my tire as I wait in the store to he come back. After a hour he come back put the tire back on with no explanation why this happen not even a sorry. Move forward a month later I went to purchase new tires for my car and the guy said you know your missing 2 bolts. I knew exactly how this happened. I call them up and the thing they say oh it took you this long to call. Take the vehicle in they came they fixed it. Yesterday I'm driving about 35mph down the road and my tire flew off the car and my car hit the ground. Now all five bolts were gone and transmission fluid everywhere.I had to tow my car and now I have major damage to my car. Love this place. Cant beat the prices and in and out time is pretty quick. Unless theres like 20 people ahead of you. They are always willing to work with you and go the extra mile. Dont expect a high end shop and you will leave satisfied. The ONE time that i did end up getting a defective tire, ( out of like 12 ive bought) they made things right with no hassle. Glad to support a local business. Oh did i mention they do more than tires? Fixed a broken exhaust and lower control arms. Only down side is they dont offer 4 wheel alignment services. read more

First time we drove away from the shop , and my wife's tire flew off , and when the guy came from mo tires he put the tire on and neglected to state that two.bolts snapped off due to their negligence. I went back to the shop to.have the issue with the bolts rectified and the mechanic welded the bolts back on and about a week later when my wife was driving the tire literally flew off and almost killed her. When I called that fat slob mo , he did not care my wife almost lost her life due to the negligence of his shop staff . Mo is a fat , dishonest man with no moral character. I went to The shop a couple months ago to put on two front tires because one tire was leaking so I decided to just put on two new ones not even used. And the previous tires that were on my vehicle came from Mo's two which had nowhere patterns on them when I brought them in. they change out the tires 255 4519. And a couple months later I look in my tires are both straight down the middle and I thought my struts were going bad for a while but once I seen their bald I took a tire pressure reader and seen they're almost 60 psi and that's why the ware pattern was going straight down the middle. finally good time to go down and talk to the owner about replacing my tires I told him even if he didn't want to replace him I will pay for replacements because I'm going out of town. he started off by saying what kind of car I drive like I'm dumb and I put the wrong tires on my car when I bought them from him and said it could be a tire rod or alignment issue. if my alignment was I would have wear on the inside or outside of my tires but this wear pattern was straight down the middle and the side of my tires were perfect. You continue saying the specs on the tires weren't right just going down the list of trying not to admit his faults of his employees. It's ridiculous I had money in my pocket to pay for tires and he's still a dickin me around. tells me he's gonna go inside and look if he has any tires I follow him and he slams the door in my face and locks it. no way you're gonna slam a door on my face and I'm gonna stay there and purchase tires from you. went to Don's automotive and got the work done right read more

Literally spent an hour waiting for these people to even acknowledge me standing there to give me service. They didn't even ask what I was there for I literally had to stop one of the workers to ask if i should bring my car into the garage, and even after that it took an extra 20 mins for them to get started on my tire. (Meanwhile, the workers were eating the whole time i came in and even went in the back to order pizza while there were still people waiting for service). If you have time to wait an hour and 30 minutes for shit service then this is the place for you. read more
