This is one of the few gas stations I've used that actually had paper in the receipt dispenser. I went inside anyway to use the ATM, which also had paper in the receipt dispenser. The convenience store area is small, so I was surprised they had restrooms, and the restrooms were clean. About half the items in the store did not have a price on them. I bought a water anyway, and it was only 80 cents. They have 16 pumps (eight on each side of the store), which seemed to be enough - no one had to wait in line. And it was pretty easy to get in and out, no matter which direction you are driving. read more

The indian guy working here is unnecessarily rude asf. I asked for a scratch off and saw $2 and he said no I dont have any. I said I see them and he raised his voice and said no. I was like ok whatever. Went to pay for my waters and his his cheap card machine wouldn't accept chip or swipe and he starts screaming TIP TIP TIP, at me and I'm like wtf? And he walks off after 3 seconds of yelling and his associate walks up and helps me TAP. I started gingerly going off on the first guy. That was most unnecessary sht customer service I've EVER seen. Went to this station and bought one gallon worth of gas. After I finished, and checked the gas meter, nothing was added to the tank. I have personally spoken to two staff members ,and ask for money back since I did not receive the gas. They called their "manager" and later denied the refund. I have filed a police report and urge everyone not to come here to pump gas. This is one of the only places in Austin I have found that has the Peanut Patch boiled peanut warming kettles which I'm a huge fan of and is really the only reason I'm giving this location more than one star. When I arrived they were out of the Cajun boiled peanuts. I asked if there were more and the clerk gave a series of mumbled excuses about not knowing how to heat them, letting me know they needed to be heated, and then pulled the can out and said if I can figure out how to open the can then I can buy some. All in all it was pretty awkward but I drove all this way to get these dang peanuts I was not going to be deterred, so I threw my muscles into it and opened up the can . He said it would take 10 minutes to heat up so I left for a bit and returned and was clearly very grumpy about my purchase and giving me a receipt. I was in the store and asked for the price of the chips because no prices were posted. The man behind the counter said something to me but I didn't understand because I have hearing loss and miss things so I kept looking. I nicely asked again. He came from behind the counter YELLING AT ME! "Which one? Which one do you want to know?" I was the only one in the store besides my daughter who was in the bathroom. I started getting really scared as he moved toward me so I said never mind. Then I went to the bathroom and told my daughter to hurry and not ask questions. As we were leaving, he came from behind the counter again and started talking to me. I recorded him talking and left. Missed my exit for the Exxon/7-11 at Burnet and MoPac and the diesel was the same price. No harm, no foul, right? Wrong. First, the guy in the store turned off my pump because he turned on the wrong pump for someone who'd already prepaid. Walked into the store to get a drink. Fountain drink selection was ok at best. Expensive sports drinks, but I went ahead as a Gatorade sounded best. Harried clerk behind the counter, an overall dirty location with a bad BO funk throughout, high prices, and poor selection. This place does not deserve anyone's business. 1. Late Sunday night there was a refueling truck it was not a Shell truck it was some other generic gasoline. Be warned this is not shell gas. Nor does it contain nitrogen additives. 2. I only had one dollar worth of quarters to put in to the air pump which was out of order but it took my money anyways. The worker there said it's not their machine so he would not refund even though I told him that I need to pump up air at another place for safety reasons. I told him the station would get sued if someone drove away and got into an accident after not being able to get air in the tires after using their spare change to do so. Went here today for gas and saw the new car wash and decided to give it a shot. Overall this is a new clean touch car wash but uses a very minimal amount of water and soap. It appeared that the manager and installers were present and testing while watching all of the cars move though. I purchased the 8 dollar "express" wash which includes wash, soap, spot free rinse. My car was overall pretty clean before the wash but had several bird droppings that were not touched by the wash. I am not usually one to do this but I went inside to ask if I could quickly run the car through again (not ask for a refund) the clerk inside told me that "only the 14 dollar wash gets the top and bottom of the car clean and that there were no refunds or redos" 8 dollars is quite a bit to pay for a wash that is not expected to work and I don't believe it should be offered. Overall a very strange experience. Gas was at the high price range for the area but not unreasonable. Overall appears to be poorly managed and I would expect higher quality standards while testing a new wash. I won't be back here. read more

Every employee is on their Bluetooth literally every time I've been in here. The employees do not speak, but have no problem try to lock women in conversation and hold up a line. Today, the employees openly mocked me to each other repeated my "um" multiple times, then preceded to hand me the wrong cigarettes - slamming them harder each time I repeated what I wanted. read more

This Shell is a joke. The clerk tried to get me to believe they don't except Shell's Rewards Program and proceeded to mock me when I insisted he allow me to use my rebate.
