Ok, I just left this place because apparently they do not sit you without a reservation. It would be nice if they stated this on their website, "Reservations ONLY." Or if they answered their phone when customers call. I called the restaurant twice and no one answered. I wanted to know if they were still seating people and how long their wait time was. I drove out there thinking I'll just wait even if it's a long wait time, but to my surprise, they turned us away. This could have been avoided and not have wasted my valuable time driving to a place that will not even sit me down if they answered their phone!! It's so sad because I have been wanting to try this place for a while. I do not think I will ever come here again. I do not want to be turned back again. Also, there were people who were waiting, though, maybe I'm just not Asian. read more

No Mo Paradise is becoming my favorite to eat at. I like the soup base and unlimited veggies you can have. The Wagyu meat is so delicious. The server is very helpful and accommodating. Our reservation was in the morning when we're done, the place started to become busy and crowded. read more

You know what's worse than a restaurant forgetting your order? When they say it's absolutely your fault and blame it on you! My mother placed a big to go order for my family to feed 8 people so we're talking about spending a good amount of money here. The order said it was ready at 7:30pm. We went to pick up the order around 8pm and guess what they weren't even aware of our order somehow! This was fine as kitchen and technology mishaps happen. We returned back 20 mins later to receive our order. The hostess handed over the bags of the to-go order and we returned home. As we were setting up and opening the bags we realized that all of our ramen and udon were missing. We were so devastated. Imagine placing an order over an hour in advance for them not to know about it and waiting an additional 20 mins to leave with a non complete order. My mom texted the restaurant to let them know what happened, as they use this as their form of communication. And to our disbelief they texted back saying it was OUR FAULT that we didn't take another bag that had all of the ramen and udon. Mind you the hostess handed all of the bags to us when we picked up. There was no apology or refund offered. Nothing but blame on the customer side. I do wish this does not happen to anyone else, and their customer service gets significantly better when handling these situations. read more

I stopped by recently for dinner and the food and service is still great except the constant banging I hear from the kitchen throughout my entire meal. I'm talking LOUD banging as if the kitchen is under construction. I was asking my partner what is going on in there?! And even other customers next to me had the same curiosity. Someone made a joke that it's an angry dishwasher. Whatever it was, it was not pleasant. read more

Very tasty hot pot. The service and how quickly they re-fill your meat order is impressive. I am a fan of the individual hot pot since usually we each have different spice thresholds. The sides were adequate but wished there were more options. The meat was tender and tasty. A little on the pricey side but otherwise still good. read more

Love Momo Paradise! Every location is same food quality and amazing service. The broths are flavorful and the various cuts of meat are delicious. They offer lean and fatty meat depending on which you like. Service is great, they are super friendly. Only 4 stars because since the whole place is basically self served, I feel like it is hard to flag down a waiter when you need to. For example, if you want an egg, you would have to ask the waiter for one but sometimes I feel like they are not walking around the store and checking in on the tables. Either way, I still recommend and come here often. It is the closest Momo to me. So greatful I don't have to drive all the way to Rowland Heights now. read more

Reasonable price for ayce shabu. Meat quality is decent for the price. Make sure you make a reservation online or you're in for a wait. I like that the drinks, veggies and other appetizers/ sides are self serve so I can pick exactly what I want without having to put in an order. There's an automatic 18% service charge but service was quick and our server was attentive. read more

Taste: 5/5 Price: 4.5/5 Ambiance: 4.5/5 Service: 5/5 I came here on a Monday evening and fortunately I was able to be seated without making a reservation since it wasn't too busy yet. All of the workers there are super nice and since it was my first time there, they were really helpful in explaining everything. Also, since I told my server it was our first time, he waived the price for the all you can drink ($2.55 per person). It was super nice of him and made me feel like their service was top tier. Throughout the whole meal, I never felt like the meats we ordered were falling behind. My server always brought out all the meat in a prompt manner. Each plate of meat had 4-5 pieces so I was ordering a lot. All the meats are excellent quality, my favorite was their beef short plate, it paired well with the sukiyaki broth. All the vegetables, fish balls, meatballs, and noodles were self serve and were all fresh. They also had self serve beef curry that was really good, perfect to eat with rice, udon, or even to use as a dipping sauce. The drinks were also really good; most buffets don't have good tea drinks on tap. My favorite drink was their passion fruit oolong tea, but their yuzu green tea was also quite tasty. I think it is more value to come here during weekday lunch rather than dinner since $35 per person is pretty pricey. Lunch price is around $25 which I think is quite a good deal for the quality of food and service. Overall I had a great experience and I will definitely come back. read more

First time I ever had Momo Paradise was in Taiwan and I'm so happy that they have locations on the west coast too! I like to get the sukiyaki base, add onions and green onions to it and then make a raw egg + sukiyaki base + togarashi sauce. Not for everyone but it's my favorite combo that I highly recommend Food is great, service is great, and I love the overall atmosphere of the restaurant! read more

This place was overall a great experience. The quality of the meat was unmatched it was so good, the vegetables were fresh and the udon was yummy as an udon fanatic I cannot do hotpot without my udon. The soft drinks were great I loved their pink lemonade, and their sauces although very limited were so delicious it paired really well with the meat. Not to the mention the service was spectacular, the waiters were so attentive to us and always came asking if we wanted more meat. And my favorite part was at the end they offered unlimited ice cream and it wasn't just ordinary ice cream it was SO GOOD the strawberry and chocolate were to die for. And there's free very easy to access parking around the corner. My only critiques would definitely be their broths. We tried both the tomato and shabu shabu and they were both pretty disappointing ESPECIALLY the shabu shabu it had absolutely no flavor whatsoever and added no flavor to our meat and ingredients it might as well just have been plain old boiled water. The tomato was alright nothing special but again the flavor was just lacking. And I do wish they had more variety in terms of ingredients such as quail eggs, tteok-bokki, etc but ultimately I still enjoyed the food and the meat alone was worth it. read more

Best Japanese style hotpot in town. I love the high quality AYCE BEEF selections along with the side dish bars. Amazing. Will come again.

When I saw MOMO Paradise made it's way stateside, I was super excited. I used to go to MOMO in Japan (it's a chain) and I loved it then and there, and I love it here and now. 3 various cuts of beef, 1 cut of pork. A few broths to choose from. Veggies and sides and drinks are self serve. 90 minutes to go. It gets busy so make a reservation. Quality of the food isn't bad, didn't feel like rough, funky meat, and I definitely could have stayed longer. Nothing felt too salty or cheap. Well done. Will come again! read more

Reservations highly recommended. This hot pot/shabu-shabu restaurant is apparently very popular and fills up quickly. Seems silly to make a reservation for such a casual spot; however, it really does help and you will be seated promptly while others wait.. or turned away. We waited about 25 mins with no reservations, arriving for early dinner at 4:30 pm. Hours: 11am - 3:00 pm, 4:30 pm - 9:30 pm. LAST SEATING is 1 hour before closing time (i.e. 8:30). All you can eat::90 minutes Lunch::$25:95/Dinner::$29.95...18% gratuity automatically added to your bill. Set up: 1) Pick your soup base (single or double - broth); 4 kinds. 2) Pick your meats (beef chuck roll, beef short plate, Kurobuta Pork Shoulder). 3) Check out the Veggie Bar/Sides and Condiments/ Beverages Station. 4) Don't miss out on the unlimited beef curry with rice at the veggie station. ***Repeat (2 -4)*** once again, 90 minutes to pig out. Overall, we thought the meat quality was not bad, the veggies station was kinda lacking on our visit (where are the mushrooms?) ;however, their food/meat presentation are very nice. The unlimited curry beef is good and their beverage station is fun. For AYCE, this place isn't bad. read more

we came here and tried the sukiyaki and tonkatsu broth which were both pretty flavorful in their own ways. they let you order as much as you want whenever and you get 90 mins. you can also grab your own selection of vegetables and it was very convenient overall. there was plenty of seating, but they do get quite crowded at times so i would recommend getting a reservation. they even had an ayce drink selection which included a variety of teas to choose from including honey jasmine and even matcha. they also gave us complimentary ice cream at the end which was nice. read more

Came here for lunch around 1:30 pm and waited 20 mins to get seated for 2. This was my first time here, on weekends it's dinner all you can eat price for $29.95. I would not recommend coming right before their last call if you don't want to feel rushed to put in your meat orders and grabbing your drinks and veggies before they close the bar. Overall, our server Adrianna was super sweet and explained how the process works. You choose your broth, order your meats and go the bar to grab your veggies and drinks. I tried the jasmine milk tea, jasmine tea, passion fruit oolong, and the yuzu jasmine. My favorite were the passion and yuzu because both were sweetened. The jasmine tea was unsweetened. Love that we get ice cream at the end. The blueberry cheesecake was delicious! They do charge 18% service no matter the size of your party. read more

Our go to spot for AYCE lunch whenever we want a lot of food for a reasonable price. It isn't the cheapest AYCE, but for the price, I do feel like it's probably the best quality Momo Paradise is an all you care to eat shabu/hot pot place. There are not a ton of meat options, but the ones they do have are very good and taste like they are good quality. I usually end up just going for the short plate beef, since we really love the fatty ones. They offer just four broths and you can get a split pot. We usually get the tonkatsu and sukiyaki, both of which are very good. They have a self-service drinks bar and a buffet to get your vegetables and other hot pot items. The buffet also has a couple salads and curry rice, which is actually very good. The drinks bar has a fancy craft soda fountain and a few tea options as well as toppings (like boba), though I wish they just had Coke product. The do not have a very extensive sauce bar and the sauces they have are a bit weak in flavor IMO, so I always ask for regular shoyu and an egg. The service has always been really great. The waiters we have had are very friendly and attentive, always asking if we needed more meat or anything else. The 18% service charges really puts me off. I really would rather places just increase their prices, though I guess that might scare people aware before even coming. read more

Had a chance to eat here with my friend. Food is excellent. Drinks are good. But charging 18% business tax and say you can still leave a little extra if you want to is absurd. I won't be coming back. 5 star is for the food only. 1 star for tipping. read more

I always loved this place for a nice hot pot dinner, but also always thought it was very expensive for a hot pot buffet with a few meats. Their prices went up $5 since the pandemic for the dinner time but it's really nothing compared to other places and inflation. Eating anywhere, whether AYCE or not, is about the same price. Thus, I come more often. Their meat quality is good, but towards the fatty side for the beef rib cut or pork belly trim. Atmosphere is nice, tons of veggies and sauces for your self serve. Worth a try for a nice quiet hot pot dinner and don't forget to RSVP before you go because this location is not very big. read more

The most amazing hotpot place ever was and amazing restaurant and experience the staff was extremely friendly and the food was the most absolutely delicious read more

All you can eat hot pot. At the moment there is a automatic 18% service fee tagged on to every purchase to generate livable wages for staff (I would personally prefer a price increase than the explanation). We like coming here because we generally like hot pot style and the flexibility of dishes with AYCE restaurants. The order process is that you select a broth, select meats you want, and have access to a salad bar style for all non meat ingredients. The salad bar usually includes ready to eat curry and a noodle salad dish. Ice cream can also be ordered at the end. Every table includes some fo of bench seating, for parents with babies there will usually be convenient space to place car seats. It usually gets loud with conversation based on how many customers there are. read more

I really like the service here :) The staff is attentive and constantly check-in with customers to see if they want more meat. My favorite soup bases are tonkatsu and tomato. The tonkatsu is very light while the latter is very flavorful and tomato-y. Always make reservations online at least 3 days prior to get the time you want. read more

Went here on a Wednesday night, and honestly, the experience was a mixed bag. The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance and plenty of open tables, which you'd think would mean a quick seating experience--especially with only two other small parties ahead of us. But sadly, it was anything but smooth. The initial host seemed really overwhelmed and unsure of how to handle the line, even though it was a pretty slow night. He kept saying he needed to seat people with reservations first (fair enough), but never actually took our name or gave us any indication of where we stood in line. We were told *repeatedly* that we'd be seated soon, yet there was no real system in place to keep things moving. It honestly felt like we were just standing around, getting brushed off. Finally, a new host, Shota, stepped in and took charge. He actually took our name and got us seated right away--thank goodness! Shota was efficient, friendly, and professional, which salvaged what was otherwise a pretty frustrating experience. Overall, Mo-Mo Paradise seems to have the space and potential for a great dining experience, but the poor management and lack of organization at the host stand really dragged the night down. Shoutout to Shota for his help, but they need more staff like him to get things running smoothly. read more

We absolutely love this place. We came once a week and come again for special occasions like birthdays. Trinity is really sweet and always takes great care of us. We have tried many shabu places and this is the place we always come back to. Definitely make a reservation, they are always busy. read more

I usually have a good time when I dine here and the food is always great, however, last time I visited the service was not great. I came to dine with some friends and towards the latter part of our meal, the server kept rushing us to leave. Came here for the first time. My family of 3 walked in and was greeted by front reception girl. She ask for my party size and I answered 3. She then asked if everyone is here when she can clearly see all 3 people standing in front of her. She then guide us to our table. Since it's my first time, I asked the girl how the AYCE work. She politely said our server will help answer those questions. She then left and walked the next group of guest to be seated right next to us. The other group asked the same question I had. The girl went ahead and explained how the whole thing works (broth selection, meat, vege, drink etc). I am seating right there and listening to the whole thing, wondering why she didn't provide the same response to the other group (let the server do the explanation). read more

This restaurant offers high quality meat and items for AYCE hotpot/ shabu shabu. The meat options and broths are pretty limited compared to similar restaurants in the SGV area but the quality makes up for it. Highly recommend coming early to avoid the long wait especially over the weekend. There is also an 18% service fee added to each person so be ware of that. These guys are dead serious about their last call and closing time so don't bother coming when it's an hour to closing because they set their last call half an hour before and they literally cut off everything, the meats and the market/drinks bar. I saw they were still accepting customers about 15 minutes prior to their last call which is just ridiculous since it takes time to get the food, cook and then eat it, time you will not be given. You will feel rushed and it will not be a satisfying experience so don't even bother. They want you done and outta there when they close for lunch or dinner. I'm not even sure why a cook it yourself shabu shabu place needs a 30 minute prior to closing last call, when everything is raw since it's just a matter of putting stuff away but hey it's their business, so whatever. Otherwise, it's a good place to eat but just make sure to come by like 1 pm or 7 pm and then you'll get to enjoy your 90 minute AYCE experience leisurely without feeling rushed out the door. read more

Came for a Father's Day celebration and had such a great time! Without a doubt worth the $30pp price tag because the ingredients here are consistently fresh and the service is outstanding. Our family opted for 3 different broths: Kimchi, Tonkotsu, and Shabu-shabu. Would definitely recommend the Tonkotsu for flavor and kimchi if you like some spice! I appreciate that when they refill your broth, they ACTUALLY refill it with the broth you ordered and not just a generic broth like other shabu places. They currently have three meat options: beef chuck eye, beef short plate, and Kurobuta pork shoulder. My favorite was definitely the short plate. It is so fatty and seriously melts in your mouth! The meats are all high quality and perfectly sliced thinly so that you only need to cook it for a few seconds. They opened the vegetable area now so that you can get your own veggies! There are a huge range of vegetable options as well as tofu, meat balls, and Harusame noodles. They also have curry with white rice on the side, as well as a few salads for appetizers. You can also get ramen or udon noodles from your server. For dessert, we were each given a scoop of ice cream with the flavor of our choice. We got both the strawberry and pina colada - you can tell both were made with real fruits incorporated instead of just artificial flavoring. It was the perfect end to a delicious meal! Last but not least, a big big thank you to Marcus! He is such a professional server. From bringing out our multiple orders of meats to consistently refilling our broth, he never missed a single request we had and all with a smile. Every time he refilled our broth, he would use his hand as a shield to make sure the broth didn't splash out of the pot onto us - exceptional service! read more
