He gave pretty comparable pricing and told me I could get a shipment within 3 days. All cabinets would come built and I would just need someone to install it. CON: Well, when I decided to order my cabinets, Bud was on vacation and the other guy couldn't take my order. Then the cabinets took longer than a 3-day delivery because of the day I ended up ordering it on. The cabinets also arrived late on delivery day. Bud told me there was traffic. The guys end up telling me it was because they were short staff. I love honesty....no need to lie. So, my contractors ended up waiting around for 3 hours...not fair to them. PRO: Bud tried to make it up to me. A couple of pieces did not come in and I ended up needing an additional filler that he did not charge me for. I also ended up having to order another filler and that came in a timely manner and I picked it up from their showroom. Overall good experience, just need to tighten up ordering and delivery.

This contractor came in with a blank contract template, asking me to sign it. There had been no details of the kind of work that was to be done, and when I mentioned the lack of information, he said I could fill it out myself. He kept insisting to sign the contract and give him an immediate deposit. I obviously declined signing a blank contract, and he started to try and intimidate me which I found so ridiculous. I just told him we will find someone else. Very unprofessional, and people should know.

With Laura assisting we then was able to narrow down 3 countertops and get quotes. I appreciate their assistance, patiences and kindness during my project stressing of selecting the cabinets and other portions thats necessary for the 2nd phase of my kitchen remodel project. The cabinets seem very reasonable in cost however they are not able to do a customizations like a few other kitchen remodel stores.

Madewell Cabinetry just finished a project in my kitchen installing new cabinets where there were none before (the rest of the kitchen will come later). Tolga and Serdar were a pleasure to deal with from start to finish. From the initial contact, to the estimate, to the proposal, to the install itself, it could not have been a better experience. The materials that they use are top notch, they were incredibly respectful of the space in terms of cleaning up, etc. The prices were very fair, especially for the quality of the workmanship. Communication back and forth was always quick and easy. I would not hesitate to refer them to anyone who is looking for a new kitchen/upgrade.

He makes every component by hand and finishes them with a water based laquer in the custom color of your choice. They are actually very nice cabinets. Communication was very good for months as the project progressed. Multiple site visits, responding promptly to questions, getting all of the specs for appliances, etc... Things seemed to be progressing very well. Then delivery day approached. The cabinet boxes were delivered, but only about 50% of the doors and drawers. I'm missing all of the shelves, roll out trays, and about half of the drawers and doors. I was assured that the remaining parts would follow shortly, and foolishly made a second partial payment. Then everything changed. No response to calls or emails. Silence. After my counter surfaces were installed and the other aspects of the project essentially finished, Koenig Cabinetry cut off all communication and says they have gone out of business. The cabinets were paid in full incrementally and i'm having to find someone else to finish the work at considerable expense. This will cost my working class family thousands of dollars in losses. I'm sharing this in the hope that I save someone else from a similar fate. I'm trying to figure out how to recover. These same folks also operate as KOENIG PAINTING and FINISH CARPENTRY in Baltimore. But then I spoke to Valerie and she is just so warm and friendly that I immediately got the best vibes. Wes and his partner then came out to do a free consultation to evaluate a few projects I needed done and were nice enough to give me different quotes for each. As someone who has to do proposals for their job, I can appreciate how tedious this step is and so I really appreciate that small gesture! The quotes were fair and reasonable and as soon as I signed off, the work was scheduled instantly. One thing that really stuck out to me, aside from the frequent updates from my girl, Valerie was when Wes called me to ask about HOA regulations for the railing I had replaced, as he noticed that all of the houses in my neighborhood (because he drove around to look on his own accord!) hafnd a different railing that I ordered. He wanted to bring it to my attention so I did not end up paying a ton of money for work that my HOA could potentially make me redo. I just think that is a the kind of service that builds trust.
