Also, many reviews speak on how friendly Moe was with them. With me, he was stoic and did not give off the same friendly, warm vibes I read of in the comments. When I left, he kind of just gave a half wave and didn't bother asking how I liked the work, if everything was fine ... Nothing. (However, Moe's assistant was such a nice person. She even took the time to show me how a product looked on her vehicle before I decided if I wanted it on mine or not.) I will also mention, I am clearly not Caucasian. And his shop was papered with Trump banners and signs. Not sure if political views affected the quality of his work towards me or not. But Buyer Beware.

If that occurs, I will post my email and you can contact me directly for feedback. I commissioned Artistic Sound to install Wifi, Sonos sound systems, and mount TV's. Their sales person quoted me $10K and two days to install. They wound up having to come back at least four times in addition to the original two days to complete work and correct issues hey caused. In addition I had to pay for my security firm to come out and fix issues they caused. My security system was down for two days due to Artistic's mistakes. I also had to have Comcast come out three times to correct wiring issues they caused. Artistic claimed the issues were with the Comcast service, but it worked prior to Artistic's work, it broke after Artistic did their wiring, and it was corrected when I paid Comcast to come out and fix it. The Wifi they installed did not work and had to be relocated to my basement, which is not the ideal location. The original quote for Sonos did not cover all the rooms required due to the sales guy assuming I had volume controls in every room. I had to pay an extra $1000 for more Sonos units. The installers are very nice guys and try their best, but unfortunately their best is not good enough and I had to pay other firms to correct their mistakes. The owner Larry is a good guy and I wish I had worked with him the entire time. Unfortunately I only connected with him after things had gone wrong and the best he could do was give me a discount on the labor cost. Definitely be careful before you engage in any work of this scale with this firm. Be sure you deal directly with the owner and negotiate penalties for missed dates into the statement of work.

Since they only care about the money, and not customer servive they said they were capable of doing the job. What they did was a home automation mess. They send their guys out to complete jobs while they go on vacation and they guys have no direction or blueprints to follow. They failed to fully install wiring per plans, leave wires out for future speaker installation, and they didn't lable any of the wires. They are acustom to do their own type of installation which is basic, but anything that requires uniqueness or customization, they don't have a clue. All they care about is selling their audio equipment which is overly overpriced (Sonos). After the project manager came back from vacation and learned about the issues at hand, he said that he would have to charge us to fix the issues (really)!? We were left with an incomplete job that should have never been a problem (everything was open plans). So, if you are contemplating on going with this company, do yourself a favor and keep doing research on other contarctors. We were limited because of deadlines that my builder had to keep so we didn't have many options. But if you have the option, walk away (RUN)! They are scammers that claim they know how to do when they don't have a clue. They have been around for over 30 years and where are their positive feedback reviews?

After consulting with my local High-End Audio Store, I wasn't happy with my Customer Experience, and their complete lack of flexibility on $30,000.00 plus components purchase. I discovered Stereo Barn was not only an Authorized Dealer of the top brands, but could also handle repairs to audio gear that usually needs a return trip to the Manufacturer. After an in-depth consultation, I had some components sent for repair, came to an agreement on a trade-in and ordered several new units. My new equipment was delivered, unpacked and set up. The delivery was a 5-Star experience by a super-friendly Gentleman who took his time, answered every question, and even fixed an annoying issue I was living with, that I couldn't figure out on my own. He then took the almost 100 pounds of packing material and pallet with him. My new system is FLAWLESS, my repaired unit works like new, and the value I received left me with a huge smile.
