Kumar was very helpful and very respectful when I arrived, he did not rush me and gave me the time I needed to look at the cars. He also let me test drive it by myself which I thought was pretty cool. The prices and taxes were a little high but I picked a very nice and reliable car. I love my new car and it runs great. This dealership gives warranties on all of his cars and takes value at making sure your car is well taken care of. If there is any issues , he takes responsibility and fixes whatever needs to be fixed. I Definitely recommend this dealership!

I honestly had the worst experience here . I was recommended by someone and they mentioned I can do…read morea payment plan so I said hey why not . Drop my car off he breaks my wheel bearing then charges me for it . Comes up with crazy prices $950 for breaks and rotors and the wheel bearing he broke. I've have 10 Diff cars never have I paid that much for breaks and rotors . To me that's outrageous then he said $850 so you really are just making up prices . I begged him not to leave my car over night and to fix the wheel bearing and we will worry about breaks tomorrow. Nope so I had to leave my car in Richmond over night . The next day comes and hours go by I finally get my car he only ends up doing the back . He tells me my car is shaking bad bc of my bad tires . Well 2 days ago before I brought my car my car was driving smooth as a babies bottom. Literally no issues . Get it back and it's a lil bumpy but I get 5 min from my job and it's unbearable. Shaking so bad I had to pull over in an unsafe location on Hwy4 . I get out and my front driver side lug nuts are completely loose . He sends two men out 30+ min later (at this point my job calls me off) they get there and they tighten them but I can tell something was still wrong , I'm still in a unsafe location so I don't look. Then I get back on road and my engine light comes on. Mind you my car was in perfect condition before brining here . I called him and sent pics of my engine he refused to look at it after I told him I did not want to leave my car there overnight. So anyway then a day or 2 later it's back shaking bad, I get out and look and my whole front driver side lug nut is missing broke in half . So when I had the concern something was wrong when the two guys came to fix my tire I was right, they broke my lug nut and did not say anything to me about it. Then I called him and he was trying to give me the hardest time about it when he was the only person working on my car and he already stripped my first lug not on my back passenger tire . To say the least I'm glad he did the payment arrangement because I will never be going back and he will not be getting a full payment from me . I paid $200 and with the work I received and the amount of backlash I got for his shi* work . I think we are even . Plus I'm not paying $150 for a wheel bearing you broke. I just got that tire changed a week before this and they got the tire off perfectly fine . To say the least I had the WORST experience I've ever had at a car shop

My car was barely driveable but was able to be pulled into a private lot until the towing service got there. I called around 12:15pm and the estimated arrival was 1:30pm. However, they called saying they were 10 minutes out little before 1pm, and they were very prompt. I was very pleased by the timeliness of the truck. The driver was very helpful and professional. I could tell he was very knowledgable about what he does. There was a piece of metal wedged into the wheel, and he even got it unwedged so that it wouldn't continue to scrape the tire. I rode all the way to the auto body shop in Walnut Creek (where I live). I wasn't in a very good mood due to the accident so I wasn't super talkative. The guy seemed to respect that, and we rode down the road listening to Spanish radio - so awesome! When we got to the shop, again he was very helpful in getting my car into their lot even though his tow truck wouldn't fit. I thanked him for his service, and he was very nice simply smiling and saying you're welcome. Given the choice, I would have picked a different place based on yelp reviews, but looking back, I'm glad Toyota set me up with this place. I would definitely recommend them!

These guys are the guys that take care of a lot of state government vehicles. If it's good enough for them, it's good enough for me. No, there aren't many reviews. But they're all 5 stars. And w my man coming here professionally & personally for so many years, I didn't think twice. He introduced me to Henry & Larry. They're extremely knowledgable & personable. They've now worked on my baby twice. I dropped her off & picked her up either the same day or on the next day, depending on what was being done. They were professional & thorough. Any questions I had were answered. Any concerns I had were addressed & handled. Auto Tech doesn't advertise. It's all word of mouth. The best. 5 stars.

While there have been only a few reviewers on both sites, I believe this is largely because the shop does not do any marketing of its fine work. Like so many great businesses, the shop seems to rely on repeat patronage and word-of-mouth advertising. I actually learned of the shop through my co-worker who learned of it through his aunt, a long-time customer. I am now telling everybody I know. The shop is small and low-key, but the mechanics are deeply experienced, straight-forward in how they do business and, best of all, honest. After so many years of getting assessments from places like Midas and Quality Tune-up, and wondering if the assessments and recommendations were real or an unnecessary up-sell, I feel like I've hit upon a hidden treasure. Since I've discovered them, Automotive Technicians has done everything from minor repairs such as replacing my radiator cap and brake work to more major scheduled maintenance such as replacing my timing belt and water pump. They do an excellent job, do it quickly (my brakes, timing belt, water pump and alternator belt were replaced in one day) and charge a fair price. Best of all, they provide peace of mind - which is what you get when you know you are getting honest assessments and quotes. Full disclosure, I was a classmate of the master mechanic, Henry Lau, in Kindergarten and in high school. But I sense that he treats everybody genuinely, regardless of whether or not you may have a personal history/ connection with him--which you will undoubtedly develop after your first visit and become their next loyal customer.

For some reason, as soon as something was repaired, another ghost ailment to the truck revealed itself! I began to question this shop...a lot! I wondered if we were getting swindled for repairs or in actuality, is the life of an American car just the shits after some years? The money that was being poured into our truck was faaaaaaaar more than what the truck was worth (in my opinion). Now, here comes my Acura TL spitting out symptoms of repair needs badly soon after I made my very last payment on it! Sheesh!!! I gave in and drove my car into the shop. I asked for Lou and introduced myself as dudes wife. I can honestly say that I had NEVER taken my car in for any major work since I bought it. Lou said he would drive it around and give my husband a call....I was nervous as hell! I knew it was going to cost me some change $$$. $2,000 later I got my car back after one day and she is running like brand new! I know that is A LOT of change $$$ but we are talking wheel bearings on both sides, a timing belt, a water pump and then my major tune up!!! I assume those are all major components to ensure a safe drive in any vehicle. Moral of the story is, Lou and them dudes up in City Auto Tech shole is expensive but they definitely keep you running them streets like a champ! I will do my best to keep up the maintenance on my car, Moët from here on out to avoid taking out a line of credit to get her repaired but I will say that I am pleased with the work that Lou at City Auto Tech has done for her and all of the other cars that we have brought into them!
