Sad to see this place go! If you haven't heard they're closing on April 30th, 2026. Do yourself a…read morefavor and go check them out before then! We stopped by here on my birthday for a nice evening dinner. Got there a little before sunset. There's just something magical about eating outside during a sunset, especially at the Orange Plaza. The restaurant has such a cool look and vibe! We started off with the Hamachi crudo, salmon ceviche, and a bowl of clam "chowdah". The crudo was absolutely delicious, highly recommend. The salmon ceviche was really good but a bit heavy on the sauce for me. The clam chowder had whole clams in the shell throughout. That was fun to pick them out! For entrees we got the lean and mean plate with sea bass. It comes with salad and rice, we substituted the rice for black beans. We also got the skirt steak "bulgogi" which was served on top of mushrooms and bok choy with a sweet soy sauce. They accidentally brought out salmon instead of sea bass, but were very apologetic. They brought out a sea bass on the side and comped the entree to make up for it. Great service right there! The salmon and seabass were both delicious and cooked perfectly. The steak was tender and juicy, full of flavor. As a birthday gift they brought out a thai milk tea blondie sundae which was soooo good! Get it if you like sweets. I wish the owners all the best in their future endeavors, they created a great restaurant that many will miss. Thanks to all the servers, hostesses, cooks, and bussers as well for making my birthday dinner so special!

I'm surprised I haven't written a review here yet! My husband and I are becoming quite the regulars…read morehere so this is definitely past due! This is one of our go-to date spot that our friends introduced to us to. From my understanding this is Italian owned business with not only great quality food but also a wonderful assortment of rich olive oil, balsamic vinegar, jam, wine, packaged noodles you can buy straight from Italy. The service is always friendly but they can get very busy. Highly recommend a reservation. They've been so busy before they wouldn't even do take out orders. Ambiance is quaint. I love the beautiful Italian chandeliers they have. I've had a hard time with the chairs if I have a thick coat or a clutch hand back hard to put on the seat My husband orders the carbonara everytime which is our favorite item on the menu. Very authentic to us. I've tried many different pastas and just tried the lasagna last night which is not super heavy if your hesitant on feeling too full, was a great portion amount and wasn't super greasy either. Other items I've tried are the but my favorites are the fettuccine Alfredo (not on the menu), the short rib ravioli - super tasty!, and this mozerella crusted Pattie's in balsamic and creamy tomato sauce (seasonal or not on the menu sometime) that we love! I wanted to love the seafood risotto but I've had better. I used to order paccheri alla boscaiola which a popular item but I have to be in the mood for all the red onions which can be overpowering if there's a lot. We have tried some Of the apps which are always super fresh but we tend to order insalata calabrese which has a bit of everything Italian salad and great for sharing. The free bread is a plus too. Highly recommend coming for date night, family night, or even a small special occasion. Thanks for the great food and service!

Stellar experience all around here! This place has it all, incredible service, inviting atmosphere,…read morenice ambiance, and most importantly -- delicious food. Ava helped me out today and was very friendly and attentive. I sat inside and it was such a cool vibe. The interior is very open and there's plenty of seating, also a bar with a few TVs. There's also an outside dining area which I've eaten at before and it's so nice to chill and people-watch on sunny days. I ordered the Wild King salmon today and it was BOMB!!! The presentation deserves bonus points, and the flavor in this dish truly packed a punch. There was a nice sear on the outside, while the rest of the fish was perfectly flaky and tender. The roasted potatoes and sautéed spinach were a great compliment to the fish and the pesto sauce tied everything together by adding immense flavor to the dish. I loved every single bite and they practically had to stop me from licking the plate clean. Highly recommend you try this dish when you go!! I'm a big fan of this place the couple times that I've been so far and can't wait to go back as I can tell everything I try will rock my tastebud's world.

No. No meant no table. She told me it would be a couple hour wait when I could see there were tables available. I made a reservation this Sunday. Unfortunately, buffet brunch only. I could see the chafing dishes from outside, but decided to dine here anyway. There was a family sitting outside on the patio, but since it was warm outside, when the hostess asked inside or outside, I said inside. The waitress told me about the $59/person Sunday brunch. No espresso drinks, but it includes bottomless mimosas. Champaign with orange, pineapple, cranberry juice, or all three. Yes, all three please. Eggs are custom made orders by request. The brunch buffet had great options. It included, pancakes, waffles, French toast, crepes, pasta, potatoes, cod, chicken, meats, salads, pizza, fruit, yogurt, various breads, crème brûlée, and mini chocolates. My mimosa was perfect, since I poured my side juices in myself. The food all tasted great. My complaint is the eggs. I ordered two fried eggs. I had to remind her of the order because I believe the kitchen forgot my eggs. She made an excuse that they were busy. I don't think so, since I could see the three of them from my table. When I received them, they were hot and fresh, but the worst fried egg I've ever had. Ugly and runny. A fried egg should be the easiest thing to prepare. Disappointing. The entire time I was here, there were at most five parties. One was a large group celebrating a birthday. Not crowded on Sundays. No reservation required. I only had two separate plates of food and a plate of desserts. Unless you eat or drink a lot, the price of the buffet brunch is not worth it. In summary, service was good. My champagne glass was never empty. Excluding the eggs, all the food tasted great. I like the overall look of the restaurant. The Sunday buffet brunch is not my first choice.

Great soup bases, great condiments (that sesame sauce is fire), and I LOVED the chili oil that you could add to your sauces to make them spicy. I also appreciate that the menu has a nice variety without being overwhelming. The menu is the perfect size where you have lots of options for your mood, but it's easy to decide what you want to order with little more than a couple glances. I dined by myself right as they opened for lunch and had a great experience--my server was really sweet and attentive in explaining everything to me! The soup base wasn't too salty, even after boiling for some time before I added the noodles, and the meat was really high quality. And not bad for the price! I splurged for a large portion of the premium meat combo and everything included (rice, veggies, noodles) it was still under $50. Even just the little bowls of onion and garlic you get on the side were great, and honestly it shows to me that they have this format down to a science, because those are the perfect (and really the only) side dishes you need for a great dining experience. Can't wait to come back!!

They offer traditional konbu and water broth which is a huge requirement for me. I have been to a shabu place where this wasnt an option. The ponzu and veggies were really good. The service was excellent. But what really made this place not hit so well was the meat tasted pretty flat and I didnt like their goma sauce at all. The goma sauce tasted like it had a sesame oil note to it. Maybe their flavored broths or their marinated meat option is what this place stand out but because I am not about that life I cant really comment on it. Since the price is on the higher end I cant really justify the cost from the minimal shabu style eaters point of view. If you are the more flavored broth style you might enjoy this place.

We ordered the Captain's Catch happy hour special along with Cajun fries, extra green mussels, corn, potatoes, and a Dr. Pepper. The Captain's Catch comes with a snow crab cluster, shrimp, black mussels, clams, and your choice of rice or noodles. At only $33, it felt like a really solid value for the amount of seafood we got, especially since everything came out hot, flavorful, and satisfying. One of my favorite additions ended up being the extra green mussels. They were super meaty and packed with flavor. Definitely squeeze lemon over everything because it made all the buttery, seasoned seafood taste even better. We also added corn and potatoes (only $4.50 extra), and personally... team potatoes over corn. The Cajun fries were also a great side to split. A random thing I appreciated was actually the gloves Usually seafood boil gloves end up oily after a while, but these held up surprisingly well and none of the sauce seeped through. Service was attentive, the restaurant was clean, and overall we felt really taken care of. This ended up being such a solid happy hour deal and I'd definitely come back again.
