He's thorough when he knows what he's talking about, honest when he doesn't, and doesn't dance around with platitudes. I'm going to guess that's a bit off-putting by people who are used to being coddled, but for me, I really appreciate his approach. I don't want to be pals and talk about the Tigers game for 8 of the 10 minutes he's in the room. I want to not feel sick. Done and done. Getting a same-day appointment isn't too difficult if you've got something legit, and though it may not be with the Doctor himself, his PA is at least as good. I've never once felt like "Okay, go get the doctor" when I've seen her. I also appreciate not being left in the waiting room forever, or being brought back near my appointment, only to be left in the exam room for 45 minutes. When I've asked for a same-day appointment, the longest I've waited was maybe 20 minutes total. With appointments, it's usually about 10 minutes. I'm pretty quick to change doctors when something seems amiss, but I can honestly say that I don't think I've ever been to a practice that's instilled -- and more importantly, earned -- nearly implicit trust.

It was great before the pandemic now they become unreasonable. They stopped scheduling appointments when you actually need to see a doctor. I was told when I called for a visit, the doctors will not see me if a have a fewer... not sure why you even have a practice and call yourself a doctors office if you don't want to see sick patients. A few of them are very very nice, but the girls at the front desk or who handle admin. things, are completely unprofessional and rude. even little things like when your pharmacist has called and emailed/faxed a request for a prescription multiple times and they said they never got it. And that happens month after month after month. Every time I have had to call or ask for something, they make me feel like I am bothering them. (and believe me, it's not like I try or want to call the doctor all the time.) I realize everybody has a bad day, but after years of this, I finally have to stop giving them my business. He does not sugar coat things and I'm all about that. This DOES NOT mean he dissent care for his patients compassionately, because he very much does. When he takes you on as a patient, he's dedicated to you and your healthcare. My girlfriends father at the time went into the hospital for chest pain and he drive to the hospital on a Saturday night to make sure things were being done the right way. A HUGE plus is that he does not refer small procedures out to specialists. He can take care of so much in his office right away. Need an x-Ray? A wart zapped off? A mole removed? A skin tag snipped? He does it. Same day, same building. You'll save money this way. Go see this Doctor, understand his direct and blunt attitude isn't a rude or uncaring way, it's the best way to let you know what you must do to have the longest and healthiest life possible. If you're overweight, he's not afraid to tell you. Don't be offended by direct and accurate information. Just as an example. Hello, I WAS a…read morepatient of Dr. Phillip Goldmeier. I have been a patient of his for 5 years when I was diagnosed with crohns disease. In June of 2016 I had approached the physician in regards to possibly having vertical sleeve gastrectomy, he had advised me against it. I went ahead and had the surgery otherwise. In January of 2017 I had gotten a flare up in regards to increased stress in my life. I called the office to schedule an appointment with a different doctor being that it would be uncomfortable to see the doctor after I had the surgery he had advised me against. I had an appointment scheduled with Dr. Jacobs. I received a call back from KERRY their "office manager" advising me that the doctors were going to refuse me as a patient. I kindly asked why would they refuse a sick patient and she responds? "you want to come back now that you are sick?" I thought that's what doctor's were for. In my personal experience if a doctor asks a patient to quit smoking but they continue to smoke and sadly develop lung cancer is that doctor going to refuse the patient afterwards because they didn't listen to them or are they going to try and help them? While I was explaining to their "office manager" how sick I was and how are they going to do this to me when I have 2 small children and 2 businesses to handle she began to whistle on the other line waiting for me to finish talking. When I asked to speak to her manager she informed me that she was the manager. I have reported this office and Kerry especially to Medicare, Blue Cross Blue Shield and Blue Care Network. They are extremely unprofessional and I would NOT recommend. Unfortunately Dr. Goldmeier let his ego get in the way because I did not want to see him as a doctor they are ethically INCORRECT. I wouldn't recommend anyone go to these physician's because God help you if your really sick and they decline you because you didn't listen to every word they spit at you.

I have a fairly stressful life, and Dr. Shindler suggested that I give it a go to help relieve stress. Well after my first session, I was driving home, hit a TON of traffic on I-275, and it didn't bother me in the least. It was the strangest feeling in the world - like someone took my mean friend away, and I didn't realize how mean that little guy was until he was gone. I have had reflexology in the past, and thought, "sure this is a nice foot massage", but that is not what reflexology is in the least when you're with Ruth. It's just amazing, amazing work. She's passionate, perceptive, kind, and so so much more. I really don't have enough good words to say about Ruth. Give her a try, and you'll try to hunt me down to thank me for making your life awesome. Dr. Shindler is also awesome. He's very easy to talk to, and is open to different ways of healing, including hypnosis. I did hypnosis once, and he will make a recording of the session for you to do at home. This also helped me reduce stress levels - but obviously you can use hypnotism to help with a lot of different issues. Overall, there aren't enough words to express how thankful I am that this office is here... we so quickly brush off things like stress, and other life stuffs, and how they play a role in our health.
