I wanted to share a review of Dr. K and his staff. I went to their office in severe sciatic pain…read moreand having to stay in bed the majority each day. So, as you can see, I felt a dire need for someone to help me. Dr. K was one of the kindest, professionals I have ever met. He really listened and together we agreed on a surgical plan. His office coordinated with me to get all the necessary prior tests completed. His staff is really on top of their game everyday. Every question was answered in a timely fashion. So I felt confident in the process and choice I made. The surgery day came and it did take longer than expected. But the care was never changed, he worked hard on my back to complete a fusion of the 4-5 area. The recovery as he had stated takes some time and a will to get better. It has now been six months and yes I am glad to have had the procedure. I still have a ways to go to reach a one year mark. I am confident I will continue to improve. If you are nervous, worried or in pain, seek a consultation to get a definitive answer to what is happening. Dr. K spends whatever amount of time needed to explain and advise you of his recommendations. I do not believe I have ever had a physician this caring and personable as Dr. K is. Because I had an existing well-known established chiropractor that I had been seeing for 25+ years, who is absolutely fabulous, I walked into this place very skeptical with all the guards up and thinking there's nothing this new place would be able to give me. But when I say walked, I really meant shuffled and stumbled because I was bent over in so much pain with every step. Without going into detail about my condition, I was depleted, in tears and easily agitated because of the nerve pain that I was experiencing. But when I walked out, I was eternally grateful for Dr. Adam and his team. Not only was everyone so professional and pleasant and the place was super clean. But what really stood out was the 1-1 interaction with Dr Adam and especially with Taylor, his assistant, with her empathy and support I felt seen which is important when you're already in a vulnerable state. Moreover, the quality of the care that I received was so exceptional that when I walked out of their office all I can say is I felt like I had a new body. I came in with my parents seeking a good Internist to replace the many mediocre ones each of us had. Even after seeing the 5 star reviews of this doctor online and after talking to other friends who referred him, I never imagined he would be so good and so meticulous about everything. He spent a good 30+ minutes with us talking about all aspects of my fathers' (the patient) health. Even without any extensive previous medical records to go on, Dr. Grivej was able to help guide and give us a better understanding of my dad's medical problems. He knew a lot of the doctors my dad had been seeing and was very candid with us about the shortcomings of some of the specialists. He ordered a set of tests and let us know what to expect in following visits. After spending almost 2 weeks in the hospital with my Dad, my parents and I have never felt much more at ease and knowledgeable about the path to take than we have today. Unfortunately the clinic manager and billing company incorrectly submitted my medical billing since 2023. I have repeatedly requested an itemized billing statement and have been repeatedly denied. I have repeatedly requested to speak with billing and have been repeatedly told that their billing company doesn't speak with patients. I have never received a bill from this clinic. I have never received an EOB from my insurance company. Diane the office manager told me today that I owe about 3,700 before I can make another appointment. I was given no notice and no bill until today. Durand the clinic manager told me that my insurance company has denied payment. This is incorrect per several high level employees at my insurance company who have stated that their billing billing was submitted on 3/21/25. It's in review. There has been no denial. The clinic manager abruptly withdrew no notice, no bill and no continuity of care told me that I cannot come back for treatment. This is patient abandonment. I really hope Dr. Kitzmiller sees this because I find him to be an excellent and ethical provider. I doubt that the medical providers are aware of this situation which is happening to other patients.

Activities that triggered would vary as well as intensity. A mystery. I was worried that at the age of 67 the response would be you're old and have arthritis. Happy to hear that was not the case. I'm a distance runner and have completed 5 marathons and did not want to give up running. Dr Mayo did complete X-rays of knees and pelvic region and did a very thorough physical exam/ assessment of my knees. He did not dismiss me. He listened! He determined that I had some muscle imbalance tightness contributing to tracking of my patella. Ordered a prescription anti inflammatory and PT. He was able to explain how it all connected in easy to understand words. He is kind, attentive and extremely knowledgeable about sports. I've been to other orthopedics over my 17 years of running and I have been the most impressed with Dr Mayo. Highly recommend.
