First and foremost I must say how incredibly pleased I was with the professionalism and the one on one time I received from Dr Melissa. It's one thing to have a doctor go through the motions and do their job, but the chiropractors at 4th Street Chiropractic genuinely care and listen to the concerns of their patients. Dr Melissa made me feel completely at ease and comfortable as we discussed my health and concerns. I recently had been experiencing some severe migraines and being that I'm also pregnant adds a whole truckload of other uncomfortable symptoms that had been driving me crazy. After seeing Dr Melissa and receiving just a single adjustment I have not experienced even the mildest headache! I also noticed several other problems like nausea, vomiting, and a general achiness just disappear. Dr Melissa is a breath of fresh air in a society that generally doesn't give enough attention to the individual's needs. I am incredibly grateful to Dr Melissa's level of care and concern. My father is a chiropractor in northern Michigan, and I have been searching for a high quality local chiropractor since I moved to Rochester several years ago. I found very quickly that, like jewelers, there are ALOT to choose from. My search ended when I booked an appointment with Dr. Stephen and Dr. Melissa's office @ 4th St. Chiropractic a couple of years ago. They are both extremely kind and professional and I can tell they are very serious about the care that they are providing. I have had several nagging injuries that they have been able to quickly diagnose, treat and heal. I have never felt like a number when I am at their office, and I really appreciate that as from my experience they really take the time to get to know their patients. Prior to getting married, my only experience at a chiropractor involved my dad going after a back injury at work. This experience completely tainted my view of chiropractic, as my dad was actually injured worse due to a poorly trained doctor. Once married, my wife took me to her chiropractor, who was a great person, but her technique never relieved my back or neck pain. Then we met Dr. Stephen and haven't looked back (no pun intended). Dr. Stephen is an amazing chiropractor and an awesome person. We try to go once every two weeks for maintenance, but his technique is so good, we sometimes can go even longer in between. Working on a computer daily, my posture is not great, and I have chronic neck and lower back pain. Dr. Stephen has not only taught me methods to better my posture, but has taken the pain I've had from a 7, down to a 1 on a normal basis. Highly recommended! read more

Thanks for fixing my nagging neck pain Dr. V! I've had chronic neck pain for about 13 years now. I always assumed it was just from working at a desk all time. My sister had me go to her chiro for awhile, but he just did the same things over and over to crack my back and send me on my way. He never even focused on my neck!. My coworker told me about her doctor, that she found through her school, and thus my trial began. One adjustment from Dr. V and it was like a rush of the best pain reliever ever! Not only is the clinic beautifully decorated, but the Doctors and rest of the staff are extremely friendly, kind, and helpful. I had a pain between my right shoulder blade and spine that would not go away for 13 years after a car accident. Two 5 minute sessions with the Chiropractors and the pain is GONE! This happened 2 months ago and I'm happy to report the pain has stayed away. I highly recommend this clinic for anyone looking for pain relief, better mobility, and/or relaxation. Health professionals, take note: this is how to treat a customer! Best I've ever felt is when I was under Dr. Vallecorse's chiropractic care. I came in with complaints of numbness and weakness in my entire left arm, along with an extremely sore neck. He discovered I had a severely winged scapula, estimating a 5-month recovery time. I started seeing Dr. V after a recommendation. I'd never gone to a Chiropractor before but was having severe back pain and other chiropractors didn't have any real solutions (mind you I was in my mid 20s). Dr. V worked with me to properly assess my injury. I've since moved away from the area but return for family and I make sure I get an adjustment from him as well.
