Paneer is not fresh and taste like it was cooked from frozen which gives a weird texture. The shrimp tandoori is good but it came out raw and this is the 2nd time eating there. The daal was delicious. The yellow and black were both delicious but wished it was a bit tastier with more spices. Not sure if the chef is new or is just starting out... but please start tasting your food before sending it out because it all looks great... but lacks taste. I am hoping that you do better because I don't want to give up on you....

We were seated at the bar and got to chat to the staff and bartender for quite some time. Cherry was an absolute delight as she arranged some amazing custom drinks for my husband. We even had the chef meet us personally for some feedback we had on the crispy corn. He was very keen on taking our feedback and also shared how the dahi kebab were made! Everyone we spoke to was very friendly. The food and drinks were good. Happy hour is from 9.30pm onwards.

The servers were very friendly and took the time to explain the menu to us. I got their golgappe flight which was essentially pani puri spiked with vodka. I couldn't taste the vodka! I usually like my golgappes spicy and this was on the sweeter side but it wasnt bad. We also got their chef's signature paneer sizzler that came with tikka masala, cheesy Szechuan sauce and lots of veggies. I loved it! My favourite was their brownie sizzler with ice cream

The vegetable pakora were good, garlic naan was fresh and yummy, the raita was good, the rice was good but the salad was wilted & soggy and needed to be cleaned out better, so besides eating a few awful, old, wilted, damaged looking lettuce.... everything was delicious!!! The Mango Lassi was a creamy and refreshing delight, providing the perfect respite on a warm day. We couldn't resist trying their Signature drink, the Blue Hawaii, which was not only colourful but also served in a fun and quirky hanging basket glass. As for the appetizer, we opted for the Honey Chilli Cauliflower from their Indo-Chinese menu, and it struck the perfect balance between sweetness and spice. Of course, we couldn't leave without experiencing their renowned tandoori dishes. Thanks to the unique spices and clay oven cooking, the Malai Chicken Tikka was incredibly tender and flavoured. For the main course, we tried both the lamb and vegetarian offerings. The Tawa Lamb truly stood out with its rich blend of spices, while the Sham Savera, a spinach and cottage cheese dish, offered a unique and delicious vegetarian option. Overall, the delightful food of Curry Lounge left us completely satisfied, and we're eagerly looking forward to our next visit for another round of delightful Indian cuisine. Food: 5/5 Must Try! I should also mention they have two locations and make sure if you order take out online that you're ordering from the right location. The decor inside has a deep tone theme to it. They have plenty of booths with nice comfy seats. Service is also consistent with friendly servers. Nowadays I mostly get take out from them, but they're just as tasty when I get home. They're also not joking when it comes to their vindaloos, they're proper spicy. The first time I ordered the lamb vindaloo with a friend, our server asked us twice at the table if we can handle spice, and afterwards the manager came over and told us it's a spicy dish. I found that quite entertaining, but do appreciate their concern. In the end we thoroughly enjoyed it down to the last drop of sauce. Their portion sizes and prices are also quite comparable to other places. There's a reason they've been around for many years, one of those neighborhood restaurants you can count on for a good curry!

We came to this unassuming little bistro for the first time on Christmas Eve…read more The service was homey and the food was *amazing*. We tried a mix of their special holiday menu as well as a few a-la-carte items from the regular menu and everything was top notch, from the perfectly spiced and scrumptious roasted eggplant/mushroom soup (with a dollop of chevre) to the fruit crumble for dessert and everything in between (we ordered the turkey dinner, halibut dinner, a burger for the kiddo, and a very hearty beet salad) ... perfection. We are a picky lot, and we were all impressed. The presentation was elegant as well. They're a new spot on a strip filled with bars and trendy joints, but these guys are punching way above their weight. Hope they tweak their regular menu to reflect what their chef can do, because that holiday menu was... flawlessly executed.

I was reminded of the lanes of Paharganj and Chandni Chowk right away. We ordered the Makhmali Chicken Chaaml, and oh my god, it was amazing. Creamy chicken with that subtle hit of mustard paste; as a Bengali, this was everything. The Handi Chicken was also incredible, super juicy and tender, with the right amount of spice and that lovely coriander seed flavor. I was really excited about the Roomali Roti. It was good, but not quite as thin as the ones you get on the streets. Maybe tossing it up in the air like they do back home is the secret! I tried their cocktail called FML, which was a really nice desi twist on an Old Fashioned; perfect for a cold, rainy day. My husband had the Jaljeera, which was super refreshing and brought back so many memories. Service was friendly but quite slow. They apologized a bunch of times and even gave us a complimentary fruit custard, which was such a nice touch. It was creamy and just the right amount of sweet.
