I'm was grateful to have help with cleaning, but I'm paying you to do the stuff I don't want to, like clean the floor around the toilet. I think I could have done a better job setting what my expectation were. Maybe? I just don't have anything to compare this experience to. The not cleaning the floor around the toilet and not moving small appliances to clean a kitchen counter were my deal breaker though. I will use this experience as a learning opportunity

Don't let the few reviews scare you away. This is a new business!…read more I want to start by saying that the house hadn't been cleanred in a while due to an injury I sustained that put me in a wheelchair since August. With two floors, three dogs, a cat, and my being unable to do more than wipe a sink or counter, it got bad... I mean embarrassingly bad... Yelp gave me the option of sending a quote request to 5 different cleaning services, and Broomed was one of three that replied. From the first communication, Eduardo was clear about how his teams worked, the costs and more. The two team members assigned to clean the house showed up on time and were very thorough. They were friendly and deliberate with each aspect of cleaning a room before moving on to the next. They wore masks the entire time and kept socially distant. Even more, they were incredibly considerate of me being in a wheelchair, leaving plenty of space for me to navigate from one area of the ground floor to another as needed. Eduardo came to check in on the team and my satisfaction with their progress. I let him know that I'd like for them to come back, and am looking at the calendar to figure out when I need them again. Give Eduardo and Broomed Cleaning a call. You'll be glad you did!

After reading several reviews mostly good- I am so disappointed…read more I called the owner and must at admit I was pretty outraged with the service, my husband and I were both ranting and raving- We paid for 4 hours of cleaning for a mostly empty home, $128- 2800 feet and a left a $40 tip. I left a list of the priorities, bathrooms, kitchen, floors (90% wall to wall carpet) except bathroom and kitchen. The bathroom counter never saw a dust rage, the kitchen floor had stickiness...I have a single cat and no children. I personally clean this house very well in 6 hours- the whole house. The outsides of the appliances and inside of the microwave was cleaned- The floors were quickly vacuumed, but a small runner rug was not even moved when she did. I was assured that the women I had was great, never a bad review in 4.5-5 years, except mine of course. The owner is going to call the lady to determine "what happened and touch base with me tomorrow", either way I am never using them again. She may have spent 4 hours, but she did not follow my priority list at all like arranged.

I was pleased to discover Green Energy Solutions through the Energy Trust of Oregon's Clean Energy Works program in Portland, Oregon. My house is 2000sf and previously had no insulation. This lead to lots of temperature differential throughout the levels and rooms as well as drafts and extremely high heating and cooling costs. In the coldest months our heating electric bills would peak at around $400 a month! The house had no central cooling and the upper floor would at times be as warm as 90 degrees! NOT acceptable!! My project manager from Green Energy Solutions was Ernesto Melo. I appreciate how he listened and worked through some of the trickier insulation areas. Now that the install is complete, I am delighted with the consistent temperatures throughout the house. The monthly electric heating bill is now about 25% the previous amount. After all the years since 1906, my house is finally dressed appropriately to be outside! Thanks to Central Air (HVAC), Green Energy Solutions (Insulators), Clean Energy Works, Energy Trust of Oregon, and Mitsubishi. I am a very happy customer and will use this team again as well as recommend them on my future residential design work.
