Marina is hands down, the best Stylist!!! I have always wanted a clean(not brassy) lighter blonde on my ends with darker, natural color on top. I'm amazed at how precise, detailed, and patient she was during the process of lifting my hair to the perfect blonde ! Each foil, each piece of hair she painted, balayage, she kept in eye on. Letting it lift to the perfect shade, and No Damage !! My hair literally looks and feels healthier with her blonding then it did when I walked in with dark hair. Marina is so good at blonding that she doesn't even have to tone. She is detailed, kind, professional, and I'm so lucky to have her now, as My Stylist! Absolutely amazing. I went there on June 28th 2023 with Sarah for just a hair cut only. I'm new to trying to find a hairstylist and haven't had my hair cut professionally at all. Sarah did amazing! She was kind and patience with my lack of hair knowledge both listened to my goals and gave me a beautiful cut while also helping educate me on how to properly take care of my hair. She also didn't care that I was a bit quiet due to me being an introvert which made the experience very comfortable and welcoming. I definitely recommend this salon the overall atmosphere was great and the other stylist there were kind and attentive even though I was not their client, which was nice. Absolutely loved my experience here! The environment is so clean, calm, and cozy. The decoration is beautiful and they even had candles lit. So cute. I had the pleasure of working with Sarah and she was truly amazing. I asked for light side swept curtain bangs; I've never had someone execute the style of bangs I want, but Sarah did 1,000%. I love the way it looks and she blended it so well, it really looks amazing. All around, I was really happy with my experience here. I don't even know where to begin, I went in expecting at least a decent haircut. When I got done however, I came out like a whole new person. I had Marina and she just did such a fantastic job. Usually when people hear hair salons and spas most people just think that its just for women, but I can safely say as a man if you want style, just go to mk Lush! I'm a student, so I've been looking for a good place to go regularly for haircuts in Columbia, and I think this is my place! For most of the pandemic, I've been cutting my hair at home because my hometown's salons were shut down or closed. I have thick curly hair, my sides were a tad bit uneven, and my ends were dry and split. Marina was my hair stylist, and she was very friendly and skilled. This is my favorite salon in town! The owner, Micki, and her staff are amazing! I had a cut and color, and I've gotten so many compliments. Swanky salon in the art district of Downtown Columbia, the decor is super cute. All the stylists are so friendly. Service was top notch and would totally recommend.
