Ani was very pleasant and professional. She was responsive and quite accommodating. Unfortunately,…read moreshe botched my brows. I had my brows microbladed in 2018 while living in NY. I've since relocated and was unable to travel back during the pandemic to have them done. Ani did my brows in November 2020. They were a beautiful brown immediately after my first session and darkened as I expected. They kept getting darker. I looked angry. I followed Ani's instructions to lighten them by doing the opposite of good aftercare and they began to lighten. They were no longer brown but were grayish-black instead. Ani offered to warm them up with a different tint that wouldn't darken them. The tint seemed to work but quickly faded to the same dark gray brows with a base that looks like color bled. It doesn't help that my hair is brown and my brows stand out as a poorly drawn in mismatch. My brows are a disaster and Ani stopped responding in July. I'm still diligently trying to fade them but these badboys won't budge. I started not to leave this review because Ani is super nice and super chill. Unfortunately, my brows are super botched and it seems fair to give others a warning. NOTE: Owner responded to my review privately and then publicly defended herself by attacking and lying rather than just admitting this one was a bad job. Photos are unretouched and tell the story. Arrived to the big smile of Betty. She was fun, professional, and a great conversation. I really enjoyed her attention to detail and her willingness to work some areas with precision. She was also a wealth of information that I haven't heard from others. Why is that important, well it's simple CUSTOMER SERVICE. Betty has it down and she is really a true asset to this operator. While I don't come in but a handful of times throughout the year. I encouraged my daughters and their friends to visit Betty in the future. Price Professionalism and Politeness all on point.

We had to take a cab into downtown, but our appointments were perfectly scheduled and executed that there was no unnecessary sitting around. One of the girls who came with me did a full color and cut. She was in the chair at 9am, the next girl at 9:45am while the color set, and I sat down at 10:05am. The young ladies at the salon were amazing. Each of us were delighted with the results. The prices were very reasonable for the wonderful service we received. It was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend this salon!!

Don't trust this business with your information…read more I booked a haircut for my husband at Nefisa Downtown after getting a haircut there myself. After his haircut, they asked if he would be returning, and he said that he may return in a few months. They then asked if he wanted to return a month from that day. He said he might be back sometime around then. (Really he just didn't like his haircut, and he had a hard time communicating that. That part is NOT the salon's fault.) Here is where things went wrong with the salon: They booked him for the appointment, which he DID NOT ASK FOR. Received 0 texts confirming this "appointment" in advance, and they charged us $34 to my card for a no show appointment HE DID NOT ASK FOR. Receiving this charge, we were obviously confused. I emailed directly with the owner to settle this. First they "don't have any record of this charge". Then they "do have it on record, and say it was for his haircut he went in for" Not true. He paid for this haircut in person the same day he got it. Then it's "Well he had an appointment, and he didn't show up. We can't issue you a full refund." Dealt with this for WEEKS now. Don't go here. Jesus fucking Christ.

I seriously cannot stop looking at my eyebrows after seeing Naomi at Riversong Spa!! Before this,…read morethe only thing I had ever done to my brows was waxing, so getting a lamination and tint was totally new territory for me. I was honestly nervous, but Naomi made me feel so comfortable and confident the entire time. She took my sparse, difficult-to-manage brows and somehow turned them into full, soft, easy-to-style brows that actually fit my face and look natural. And the color match?! She matched my brows to my hair almost perfectly -- I genuinely don't know how she did it so flawlessly. I'm heading to the Dominican Republic in a few weeks for a girls trip, and having beautiful, low-maintenance brows going on my vacation honestly makes me even more excited. Knowing I can wake up with brows that already look this good is such a confidence boost! What impressed me most is that you can tell Naomi truly LOVES what she does and is incredibly good at it. There are people who just "do" their job, and then there are people like Naomi who absolutely ROCK at it. Her attention to detail and talent are unreal. I walked in hoping my brows would look a little better, and I walked out feeling like a whole new person. I cannot recommend her enough, and I honestly don't think I'll trust anyone else with my brows now. Naomi is amazing!!

I have curly hair, which can get quite unruly due to the humidity, but Rhiannon knew how to shape it and she told me what products to use, and how to style it at home, to make it look good. I was especially impressed with her technique, given that all the stylists I've had before always wanted to straighten my hair. You'll hear no such thing here, and for a good reason: all you need to do is have Rhiannon take care of your locks! I can't recommend her enough! Do try this place even if it's off the beaten track.
