Stopped in here for lunch. Cute place. Looks like a dressy diner. Service was good but food was just average. I got the classic burger - came with no cheese though I thought that was part of the item (may have been my issue with ordering). Burger was supposed to be medium but was over done so disappointing. My wife got the three egg omelette which was quite good but a touch too cheesy. My older son got a kids menu salmon cake that was done well. My younger son got a kids burger which he liked. The decorations were cute. Facility was clean. Service was attentive and friendly. Music was some type of jazzification of 80s pop songs which was odd.

A very nice - and very big! - classy spot in Kensington. When we were here though, it was only to drink, so I can't actually comment on the food. The bar is set up with comfy stools and a well-lit, pretty display of bottles. Service was friendly and attentive, and prices were actually pretty reasonable (for London). The bathroom is in dire need of an update.

Dinner at Christmas time. Duck breast was very nicely cooked as well as home made fishcakes. Valpolicella was fine here too.

My spinach and parmesan tart was under seasoned, but the banoffee pie made up for it. Seriously one of the best desserts I've ever tasted.

I had the duck breast with a side of grilled halloumi and was thrilled that they let me swap the rice out for quinoa.

Honestly, feeling a strong sense to give a one star review. Never thought I would be asked to leave…read morethe table "because the next party has arrived"... and at a Greek establishment? With wine still in our glasses, and coffee still hot?! Sorry, have to give a HUGE thumbs down on service. And offer my disbelief and dissatisfaction at whoever is managing this restaurant and borrowing from Greek culture, whilst missing out on the key component of Greek dining. Either you're a sell out. Or you're an outsider and you're exploiting Greek culture and cuisine. One the website we get: "MAZI, which means 'together' in Greek", but it should be followed with, "... but don't take too long, we will ask you to leave." Having said all of that, and trying not to affect the rest of the review, food was not great. Mushroom Chicken was the best dish (was the priciest line item - second to their service charge - but the only dish that I was impressed with). Tiger Prawn risotto was very bad (both the prawn, and the risotto). Grilled Octopus was average (size, prep and quality of octopus left a lot to be desired). The Calamari Citrus was also less than average. Lot's of the seafood sadly missed the mark - Tuna Crudo was the most satisfactory of all the seafood items. I will say that the cocktails were prepared well. Including a welcome drink. And the juices were fresh - albeit expensive. In fact, everything was overpriced - but it is London, I get it. Still wish the food tasted better. The atmosphere was loud and energetic. The cherry on top was the service charge (highest line item on the bill). Cheers to ownership and management for appropriating Greek culture and putting a heavy London spin on the dining experience. My family would have had some choice words for you, thankfully they were not present to be insulted. Anyone wanting Greek food, I would recommend to look elsewhere. The culture and cuisine has A LOT to offer, unfortunately Mazi disappointed for us.

Came here on a recommendation of a friend who lives in London and we were not at all disappointed…read more We started with some great cocktails and I really enjoyed the Aegean Negroni I opted for; the addition of black pepper simple syrup really added to the complexity of the drink. Every single dish we had was superb, from the jars of tzatziki and tiropita to the crispy calamari and seabass tartare to start. The fresh bread, which was lightly charred, really paired well with the tzatziki and tiropita which were lightly whipped and so flavorful. The seabass came with a cucumber and jalapeno broth which had just the right amount of spice to elevate the fish. For main we split the lamb and grilled octopus which were both perfectly prepared. The lamb, which appeared to be sous vide, was cooked to an exquisite medium rare and the octopus had a great char both was still tender. The service and setting were both great and we highly recommend this establishment.
