They even coordinated with a carpenter to replace insulation and repair the wall where the old return vent had been. Knowing I was pregnant, the team rearranged their schedules to meet my tight timeline. They were patient and professional, explained everything clearly, checked our outdoor AC unit, shared simple maintenance tips, and left the work area spotless. One thoughtful touch that stood out was their practice of donating working thermostats to lower-income households instead of discarding them--something I wouldn't have thought to do. Professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind, I will absolutely call them again for future HVAC work. They're a small team that clearly takes pride in doing the job right and taking care of their customers. A special thanks to Thommy, Mitch, and Holly!

He provided me with a quote that was affordable and after a couple other quotes, we decided to go with Aaron and his company. I always try to have small companies do work for me over the bigger ones. Aaron rescheduled on me 2 different times. About a month after his original promise date to start, he finally arrived and got to work. he replaced my equipment and everything worked fine for a few days and then just stopped. We couldn't figure out why it wasn't working so we called Aaron. As usual he didn't answer his phone ( that started after we gave him a deposit for the work) He finally called me back a full 24 hours after my first call. He refused to come out and look at what could be wrong. Telling me that he was too busy and booked out a few months. That I was lucky he made it out in the fist place. He told me he'd call me back in a few hours and see if he could squeeze me in. 2 days went by and no phone call from Aaron Tompkins. It'a the middle of winter, he took my money put in the equipment and wouldn't come back to rectify the issues. Fortunately, a family friend referred another company who came out and fixed the issues. It took them maybe an hour and it was up and running. Aaron finally called me back 4 days later!! I told him we had another company fix it and asked where I could send the bill to be reimbursed by him. He lost his mind after that. Yelling and swearing at me. Threatening to put a lean on my home and to pursue legal action against me for harassment because I called him 3 times in 2 days trying to get answers. When I told him that we had no heat for 4 days and he was nowhere to be found. He said, "show me in the contract where it says the equipment needs to be running" In legal terms it says is that he would provide and install equipment that would be specifically sized for me home. He was proud of the fact that he had a loophole in his contract and tried playing games to dance around it. Very dishonest person. Stay FAR AWAY from him.

He kept it running for another year and half and in mid 2011 we used him to to put in a brand new furnace and central air. It was a pretty straightforward job. He replaced our old oil fired furnace with a brand new natural gas Carrier Infinity furnace and central A/C. We had no issues with that equipment when we sold our home 8 years later in 2019. Fast forward to 2020. We purchased a new house with Geo Thermal heating and cooling. We were excited for it until a month after moving in (November) the heat stopped working. Only one company in the area works on geo thermal and they determined it had a massive leak in the loop system in our yard, but they did not know where. They were kind enough to let me know that the loop system is 100 year life span pipe! Well apparently it isn't. Rather than invest major bucks in a brand new loop and with winter fast approaching we again called Todd with TSK. This time around TSK had more work to do. While our home had natural gas, it was built with Geo Thermal so there was more work to do putting in conventional heating and cooling. Todd and his crew got rid of the Geo Thermal system and had us up and running with a brand new high efficiency Lennox furnace and central air. He got the furnace installed fast, the night he completed the work we went from 30 degree weather to single digits. I can't say enough good things about TSK. I did get other quotes and TSK by far was they cheapest. Even if TSK was not the cheapest I probably would have still hired TSK as I know they do quality work and stand behind what they do!

Last…read morewinter the outside fan units got clogged with snow and ice and it was recommended that they be raised above snow level to avoid future issues in the winter. That sounded very reasonable to me. I asked for a quote and it was about $900 to raise both units on metal sling stands. So each stand was about $200 plus labor...made sense. I was expecting this to look awesome! We set up a day and time- I took the day off of work and the day before they cancelled. We rescheduled for 2:30 a few weeks later and I said I'd be home shortly after they started to oversee the project but I wasn't there at 2:30 and they never called and just left. We rescheduled a 3rd time- Zach called me at 9:54 to tell me he arrived and at 10:20 told me he was finished and decided to use "stone" as he felt it looked better and $200 cheaper. I was really excited! He sent me a picture as well...and when I got home....it was horrible- he pretty much lifted my units on concrete blocks you can get at Walmart. Some were gray and some brick colored. Needless to say- not a $700 job nor is a concrete block the same as "stone" - they were not secured in any way, shape or form- After talking to him, he said that they couldn't get the metal sling stands and they wouldn't work but no one told me. So the next day I asked for an itemized list : material cost and labor cost per hour but he just couldn't give me that info- very weird! That's protocol in any construction type of work! So I told him if I knew they were going to put them on concrete blocks, I could have done that for $50! They tried to take advantage of me! It was later admitted that the job was small and it wouldn't have been worth it for them to do ( travel- gas- ) I couldn't believe my ears! if it was a small/ cheap project I would have had more respect if they were honest and told me it was much too small of a job and not worth it rather than try to screw me out of $700! I was born at night- but not last night! I expected a professional looking final product for $700....So I put up a fuss and he said he'd come back and get his concrete blocks and call it a wash- Funny how all of a sudden it's worth their time to come and get $25 worth or concrete blocks. My advice to this company: HONESTY saves everyone's time!
